Had our batterie installed over 2 months ago and still not working. have tried so many times to email, call and get help but absolutely no help at all.
They say they get Sh*t done on their website but they don't. Not only that they have disconnected our app contact with our solar panels so i don't even know if they are working.
So disappointing that $17,000 doesn't even get you a call asking to help when you have begged for help.
Please come and take you batteries away and make good any damage to our property.

Had long wanted Solar but couldn’t afford and didn’t really know where to start. I knew there were some rebates around but George Hutchison very competently explained and answered all my questions. Installed was very professionally handled and follow ups have been good.

It’s winter so I can’t attest to their full benefit, but at worst with payment plan (govt no upfront or interest) we’re breaking even. That’s at worst and in the worst month, so looking forward to summer.

Yeh they use doorknockers to get business but don’t let that put you off

We now have a superb new battery and solar panels. Cannot thank all at Think Renewable enough. Meeting with Alex H. got the ball rolling. He advised expertly on our optimal set-up. He also continued to be responsive and helpful throughout the next steps.

The complete process was seamless and rapid thanks to TR’s efficient teamwork at all stages of the process - admin & scheduling, communication and, best of all, installation by Matt and James and co-workers.

We had solar installed a year ago, we’ve considered Solar for a while but with a difficult roof a lot of companies have turned down the install so very happy when Mark and Think Renewable completed the install, we recently had a bill check in May and solar is looking after us so much Mark recommended we don’t need a battery with our usage so low

The team have been fantastic from start to finish, Mark was knowledge about solar and guided us towards the best system for our house. We had other quotes and so far we are glad we went with Think Renewable

Conor was an excellent consultant that signed us up and Corey & his team were amazing and efficient with our installation. Showed up on time and completed everything without issue. Highly recommend them!

We were a little unsure to start with, given so many dodgy solar set ups... however our technician, George Hutchison, was genuine and knew everything about his product. We had Solar which was approx 10+ yrs old and no battery. They informed us that our solar probably was no longer doing much if anything for us given it was 10yo and those old systems seem to have only a 10y life. They replaced our system and installed a battery and we have George's mobile for any issues (not that we have had any so far). Our consumption has halved (compared to last year) for the couple of months since installation. This is very satisfying to see considering we have young children so use heating very heavily.
The whole process was seemless and seemed to happen like clockwork.

Think Renewables was very efficient with the installation of our solar batteries. Their communication was excellent and they were timely with any responses to our queries. Our consultant George Hutchison was knowledgable and was able to explain all the ins and outs to us. He organised of all the finance applications and made it very easy for us. Installation was very efficient.

Stay away from this company, they are the absolute worst once they get your money, they give you no contact or anything else, then they will over charge you and come at you for more money saying that it wasn't covered in the initial amount and they only give you 2 or 3 days to make any payments. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Horrible to deal with a complete rip off. It has been almost over a month, and we are still waiting on it to be finished with

Ater sale service need to be improved

Had en excellent experience with Think Renewable installing our solar panels. Alex H was very knowledgeable about solar and the things we needed to consider for our installation. The proof for this experience came when NSW state regulator sent an independent inspector for reviewing our installation and gave the install 5 stars! They are not the cheapest option going around, but as they say, you get what you pay for, and in our case, that was a premium install experience.

STAY AWAY from this company. I've never done business with a more dodgy company than this one. First, they increased their prices because they "couldn't get their rebates from the energy scheme". Second, the installer failed to install the battery correctly. Thirdly, two months later, after escalating to NSW Fair Trading and the Building Commission, they send THE SAME INSTALLER around to fix it. He fixed one aspect of the battery and has left the rest to fail. I'm using DOUBLE the amount of electricity I was before and am not getting any resolution from this company. I'm going to have to employ a third party electrician and recover costs through small claims courts. I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO DO THIS!

If you're contemplating using this company, just know how terrible the experience is and be warned, they will not act on a warranty claim, their complaints and escalation procedures are not followed by their employees and they have no quality assurance processes on the electrical installation.

As at the date of this review, I'm still getting errors and the installation is not correct.

One of the company's customer service consultants Christopher provided outstanding service today (!!) and hence the reason for my review. A few weeks ago after an electrical storm I noticed there was an issue with my router. After replacing the router the connection between the solarman smart app and the internet was lost, which meant that I was unable to view the stats regarding my plant. For some reason I thought to contact the supplier initially which was a waste of time. The problem continued for two weeks with only two emails sent, offering no help at all. I then contacted Think renewable and within 20 minutes a huge and informative email was sent. It took a further 10 minutes for me to read, understand and implement the steps within the email and the problem was solved. This company not only provides a convenient sales solution, but excellent customer service as well. Thank you very much 👍😁

Alex H came to our home and explained how the solar system works and talked us through the design process. Once we signed up it was only a month before our system was up and running. We have just received our first bill (with the billing period fully post installation) and our charges are a quarter of what they were previously. After the government subsidy the bill was only $81. We estimate the system will pay for itself in just 4 years.

Very helpful and friendly. Thanks for getting us through the all the procedures to get this going, and the patience to wait for our roof repairs to happen first. Cheers

Alex H was fantastic to deal with from first visit .He was more than happy to answer any questions or doubts we had. We were dealing with another company as well but in the end Alex was the reason we went with Think Renewable.
Unfortunately that's where it ended. The installer put the inverter directly above the sungrow battery(which i got specifically to be able to increase capacity in the future if needed by stacking another unit on top) to which i was told, by Alex, we will move it for free if you ever want to add another battery module (dont like my chances of that happening). The installer also forgot to put in our hot water timer, which I didn't realise until after I payed the final invoice.
Took 3 attempts for them to actually come back out to do it (not us but just not showing up even though they asked us to wait at home for him).
Once it was installed my main inverter circuit breaker kept tripping and could not get any help. Was told by Alex to contact him if i had any problems so i did and got a reply saying that he had a family issues and work was the least of his worries but he would pass on my details to his manager. Still haven't heard anything to this day, being nearly over a month later ,from anyone. (Alex messaged 3 weeks after to ask how i went but never got a reply after that) ended up having to get my own electrician to come out the day before Christmas, he found that the cheap circuit breaker(rated at 50amp) that they installed was getting too hot next to the hot water timer they also installed causing it to trip(at only 40amp).
I really was hoping it would be different but as usual once they get your money they really don't care. I have actually had the other company that I didn't go with contact me more times to get my feedback and ask how they could improve and also answer some questions I had about my system and to give them a call in the future if I need any help.
Think Renewable say they have a 10year workmanship warranty and they will deal with your product warranties for the first 10 years also, but when I can't even get them to fix a small problem I'm really hoping I never have a major issue. I have tried contacting them via multiple different email addresses and have called the number and left a messages with no luck.

Alex H came and explained the Govt incentives etc and help me set up our new solar battery finance, submitting the Govt incentives and installation. Very quick service and highly recommended!
