The shop near Victoria Station in London provided Malaysian Ringitts at short notice and at a good rate. For a little extra they provide buy-back of unused currency which is very useful.

Ordered online and then phoned to amend the order. Extremely helpful. Excellent exchange rates and no waiting for the currency. Would always go to them. This was the Liverpool Street branch in London which is very convenient as that's where our trains terminate

£5 currency charge added automatically
Have used the company previously but this time I was advised of the currency buy back but was not advised that it was £5 and had automatically been added to my order. I returned some currency but only had the card receipt and therefore apparently it was not possible to get original rate. It seems like agent was too lazy to find the transaction on the system using the card receipt. Be careful and review your receipts carefully. I will consider reporting this to the regulator.

We’re only talking about holiday cash here so a quid or two makes little difference.
Spreads could be tighter, but you’d certainly be a fool to use your bank instead.

Worst exchange rate in London
I was for a long time a customer of the Kensington branch now closed and was fairly satisfied with exchange rates there.
However on 17/08/2024 I exchanged euros at Hammersmith and was given a terrible exchange rate, a friend had exchanged euros on the same date elsewhere and confirmed that I was approximately cheated of £50 on total exchange .
Other friends have told me not to use Hammersmith branch as rates are abysmal . I should have checked beforehand! But trusted Thomas .
A lesson learned !
