★☆☆☆☆ – Unjustified $140 Overcharge and No Evidence Provided
Extremely disappointing experience with Transdirect.
I have been charged an additional $140, supposedly because my parcel measurements were incorrect. Despite questioning this charge and requesting evidence to support their claim, Transdirect has been unable to provide any proof that my measurements were wrong.
How can a company justify taking an additional $140 from a customer without providing photographic evidence, verified measurements or any documentation to substantiate the charge?
I have no issue paying legitimate shipping costs, but I absolutely object to being charged extra without a reasonable explanation or supporting evidence.
Customers should not have to simply accept additional charges on trust. If Transdirect believes my measurements were incorrect, they should be able to prove it.
An incredibly frustrating experience that has seriously damaged my confidence in this company. I would strongly advise anyone using Transdirect to be cautious about unexpected additional charges.
I expect the $140 to be refunded unless Transdirect can provide clear, verifiable evidence justifying the charge.

Dimensional weight reflects the space occupied by the parcel rather than its physical weight. While photographs are unavailable for this consignment, the adjustment is supported by the recorded measurements used to invoice the shipment. NEGATIVE STAR. I dont recommand these guys. DONT USE THEM. I FIND THEM UNRELIABLE. THEY DO NOT TAKE FULL RESPONSIBILITY OF THE INSURED SHIPMENT. Going through Unpleasent experince . I used transdirect to ship my 5 cartons localy in Melbourne thruogh Couriers Please. 2 cartons got lost / demaged during transit. It has been more than 1.5 months but they still have not settled my demage claiM. Going through consumers affairs.

Ok so far.
I was nervous because the pick up was late with no communication from Allied. I had a bad experience with Transdirect and Hunter road express before, but this time it was sorted in a few days. The only hiccup so far is that the first mile courier has marked it as delivered when all they did was deliver it to the Allied Express depot. The tracking says delivered on Transdirect and Allied Express, which is not good for the customer as they can't follow the tracking.
