Absolute waste of time does not work. Tried for over an hour on my android phone to upload my passport photo. At first used Firefox, but then realised this piece of garbage app does not like Firefox. OK so used Google Chrome then which is what they say it works on, and still not working. Comes up with an error code about low memory on phone which is not the case at all. It's just a worthless app that does not work. Any company using it as their go to checking service should look elsewhere.
FINALLY got it working using a tablet but what a mess around that is. I think it took about 5 times just to try and get your face in the oval, hold a pose and pray whilst that scanned you.
For anyone trying to use this system (especially older people or people with some disabilities) it would be a nightmare for them.

Took over an hour for the app to work properly, then when the scan of my passport was confirmed as successful on the App, the end user said they did not receive it from Trust id and I now have to do a face to face id check, which is time consuming and not convenient. Trust id App is not fit for purpose from my experience.

Time for the UK government and so us, taxpayers, to have our personal data stored safely, with just state official body, in the official register, with a simple, quick and official verification of the address, the identity, CRB and citizenship/visa/residency. Like in the rest of the developed world, rather than selling our data and being at mercy of poorly developed technology.

Appreciate Iwona being proactive and helpful.
I am deeply disappointed with my experience using TrustID. The system failed to verify my legitimate passport, causing delays in finalising my employment offer. Despite submitting authentication confirmation, the matter remains unresolved.
As a legal migrant who has complied fully with all documentation requirements, this process has been unnecessarily distressing and emotionally draining. Identity verification systems should be reliable and efficient, especially when people’s employment and livelihoods depend on them. I hope TrustID urgently reviews and improves its verification process to prevent others from experiencing similar hardship.

I must be on about 20 attempts now to get my face verified for work.
A joke of an app. YOTI works immediately, but I am guessing TrustID doesn't like that some people have gotten more wrinkles and aged in the 5 years since they got their passport and so fails the check.
Anyway, I am about to tap out and just abandon the work as this is too frustrating, the office of the place I am due to work is miles and miles away and I literally cannot afford train fare to faff about to show them my passport in person.
JOKE, avoid if humanly possible, it WILL lose you work
