The technical support is good but the…
The technical support is good but the it’s ridiculous that you must pay to retrieve your files in the event of an issue. The renewal fee should be extended to existing customers. The fee for service is a bit much and goes up every year. I’m also a Mac user and the only way to use the service is online; whereas Windows users can access all platforms of the software.

If you are online, there is no retrival fee as you should have access to all prior years with us. Renewal fee was extended and offered many times. We have a cutoff time for renewal discount. Mac is just online.

Not happy with the renewal procedure
Unfortunately I did not sign up for auto renewal, however my credit card was charged a renewal fee today. When I called to get assistance, there was no answer and I had to leave a voice-mail. I am not happy about this process.

I love Ultimate Tax!

This is an awesome tax program
This is an awesome tax program, I have use about 4 other software's in the past 10 years. This is by far the easiest user friendly with pro forms. Above all the price is highly unbeatable by other software that claims to be better. Great and efficient support as well.

It would be helpful to have program follow through & repeat keying entries for unemployment on the federal side over to the state side so we don't have to waste our time repeating the process!
How much longer will it be to be able to key in 1098-T & E's ? Tax program should NOT Allow State returns to be accepted when Federal return is rejected!.

Good points. States require different information than federal, so the requirements are different. 1098-T - can go in multiple locations so it is not an input form. State returns being accepted is based on the Linking forms. We suggest not unlinking the form so that the federal has to be accepted first. Thanks for the input.
