Similar to other reviews, I found the product poor. Does not deliver on what’s promised. The customer service is atrocious and almost impossible to book. This a time share. Basically do this if you want someone else to take your money and decide how or when you can go on vacation. Scammmmm!!!!!!

From what I've read on here it seems people only have a bad taste in their mouth from bad experiences during the presentation not the actual product itself. My personal experience was in fact a positive one.

I was on holiday in Tenerife in the Alua Atlantico Golf resort where I was approached by a polite young lady at the reception of the hotel. She offered me a voucher in exchange for 90 minutes of my time to show me and my wife some vacation membership options. We decided to take her up on her offer and was appointed to meet a representative the following day.

We were met in the morning by one of the representatives who took us for breakfast followed by an insightful presentation on our options as a travelling member of Hyatt/UVC. At the end of the presentation we were offered a 15 year option which we declined due to the price being slightly out of our reach. We were then offered a much more affordable 5 year plan which we decided to take. The time with the salesteam was a million miles away from some of the comments on here. No pressure, very professional and easy going.

At first we were slightly nervous if we had made the right choice.

Fast forward to now I have absolutly no complaints. We have used both our insentive weeks that were offered. One in AluaSoul Majorca (Room upgraded at check in) and recently Dreams Jardin Tropical Tenerife. With those 2 holidays alone I've more or less broke even on my membership, with 4 more years left to enjoy.

For anyone looking to buy, all I can say is that its working for me and everything that was offered during the presentation has materialised.

We’ve been members since 2011 and love it. It’s not a time share but a vacation club that discounts some hotel brands and offers price matches. It worked for us. You should read contract before you sign and not rely on sales people promises, it’s that simple. We just booked our yearly trip with friends to Dreams Tulum, paid 2400 usd per room type jr suite. We probably will get upgraded (as usual) when we will arrive as platinum members.

Bought in with the lowest level, then upgraded to Silver with all the benifits of the higher levels. Love it. We travel at leat 2 times a year and sometimes more. Almost always Secrets because our kids are all out of the house. We have more then made up for the cost of the membership by doing price matches or roll backs.

What a shame. While I was on vacation in Cancun back in 2020, Unlimited Vacation Club persuaded me to come and listen to their pitch for future stay discounts. Their pitch is highly developed and persuasive, passing out champagne, music, well- manored salesmen- all a cloak to butter us all up and get into our wallets. Where it sounded like a good investment they detailed in the presentation, the reality is that it is a scam. I ended up paying a 1 time payment of $10,000+/- for a certain package. The next year I tried to start utilizing the 1 free week vacation to find their scheme of having me jump through so many hoops in the booking process to find there is no flat out free week stays, rather discounts which would mean more money out of pocket. Then the annual fee needed to keep the membership active. I ended up not ever booking anything. I lost $10,000. The support would not refund any monies to me. 2 years later they continue to harass me sending mail and calling me to extort more money saying I can't cancel unless I pay the outstanding renewal membership fees. Such a disgraceful company, I wish all the people whom got ripped off by them can come together with a huge lawsuit against them.

Unlimited Vacation Club (UVC) is FRAUD. UVC is not honoring what it promised. The main reason I got this package is that you guys offered all-inclusive, all-year vacation packages at no extra cost. But seems like there are no such packages. we were lied to. Why do I have to pay almost the same price as if I was not a UVC member? I saw your review they were all bad and when I asked Pablo, my sales person, he said that was an old company. You need to train your salesperson better. I am also filing complaints to all the appropriate departments for false advertisements and misrepresentation.

We have been trying to cancel this membership due to the reason that all the promises were made are not true. I have called several times and every time they told me that supervisor will call us back but nobody did.

We were told by several people including Pablo Hernandez that with our silver plan we have unlimited free nights all-inclusive in selected resorts. I asked them several times and When I asked where it says that its unlimited it showed me maps of Mexico and Europe ( see attached ) Also where is the copy of contract? I now I have been told that we get 25% discount. Why would I pay around $20,000.00 upfront to get 25% discount?

it’s a case of FALSE advertisement and FRAUD.

Reading all of these reviews and experiences makes me truly wish I did my research beforehand. I usually do but ofcourse when you are on vacation and they are giving you drinks nonstop, it seems like an amazing opportunity to pursue. I am currently in back and forth communication with UVC and it has been a nightmare. They are constantly making accusations, coming off very rude and demanding additional money. I have sent screenshots and explanations on what was promised was NOT actually given.
I am looking to involve an attorney if they do not resolve the issue with me directly. After reading all of these reviews, I wanted to see if anyone was interested in creating a case against them. Got scammed into visiting Dreams Onyx in Punta Cana. There is a fat, ugly, gorilla looking black man in a red waistcoat named Hunter. I didn’t catch his last name, probably because he is lying about his actual name. Cannot even begin to express the disappointment in this trashy, cheap sales pitch. Luckily, my girlfriend saw through their crap in the first 3 minutes of the 120 minute “sales presentation”. They make racist comments, try and discriminate against your age, and try desperately to take any amount of money from you. I feel terrible for anyone who’s signed up. It’s glaringly obvious how fake the positive reviews are. No one would ever be happy with getting scammed.

I knew it was a scam as soon as the sales pitch began. they offer to take you to any other resort other than the one you’re staying in, show you fake rooms and “exclusive members areas” that are littered with obese middle aged men who wouldn’t be able to see a scam if it pierced their rectum.

My issue, however, pertains directly to Hunter “the manager” (autistic black gorilla with 0 sales skills) and Rijo (autistic black gorilla part 2). They are disgusting, racist men who have probably not interacted with any semblance of dignity in their entire, cheap lives.

If you ever visit Dreams Onyx in Punta Cana and come across any severely obese black men named Rijo or Hunter, I implore you to spit in their face before their mouth even opens to save yourself some time.

If anyone from this absolutely crap company ever bothers to consider their customers opinions and read reviews, fire this monkey named Hunter and put him in a cage where he belongs.

Their sales pitch was so trashy, forget signing up, I am going to actively work on deterring people from ever considering Hyatt Hotels or their scam of a company disguised as a loyalty program.
(Fyi; they are weak salespeople with very little skills, they would do nothing if you literally spat on them. They are not able to do anything other than coerce you into a trashy deal, so fear not.)

This business is a scam and nothing more than a time share in disguise. My wife and I were scammed into signing up for this disguised time share while vacationing in Costa Rica. My wife unfortunately suffered a cardiac arrest and consequently suffered severe brain injury, and has been on a ventilator since. I emailed this company's supposedly customer relations debt. because you cannot call them by phone and communicated with to the rudest, uncaring and disrespectful person ever! Even after advising her of my circumstances, she still insisted that I am under contractual obligation to pay their cancellation fee which is 50% of contract amount. I told them that I was not paying and didn't care what they did. I also told her that I would write reviews notifying as many as I could about this scam practice. She eventually threatened me about some confidentiality clause insinuating their lawyers would come after me. Here's Ms Dayana Peraza Fuentes rude reply after I called them out on their high pressure sales tactics and the salesman being deceptive about their cancellation policy when we asked if we could cancel anytime which they said we could:

"First of all, I'm not a sales representative. I'm from the Quality Assurance Department in Corporate Offices.

Second of all, I wasn't there, we don't work with verbal agreements. That's the reason why we have a CONTRACT IN WRITTING. You have in that contract your benefits, your rights and also YOUR OBLIGATIONS.

You had 5 business days to request the cancellation without fees. But you didn't read the contract and that's the reason you don't know about this fee and about the correct process to cancel.

Also, be carefull of your declarations and words, because you are member of the club yet. I advise you not to do it, remember that you have a signed confidentiality clause and depending on the damage, the company may or may not take legal action against you, if you have the money to fight with our lawyers, go ahead.

From this moment I will no longer be able to assist you with your case, this is my last email.

This company will never improve its all a scam and nobody talking about it they steal your money spread the word family friends don’t do it when travel like Cancun and other places they have this company worst experience and they don’t want you to leave

SCAM SCAM SCAM. You will waste your valuable vacation time arguing trying to justify to them the reasons you cannot afford this membership etc. they come back with manager promising extra perks and blackout dates etc and lower monthly. Which I’m fact wasn’t lower and we paid even more. The sales rep knew we had just married and claimed he wanted to celebrate with us bringing us tequila shots and telling us how to take a “real shot”. Just insanity. Tried to cancel during Covid out break and couldn’t, getting harassed the last eight months.

One of the worst scams they do for travelers, especially from the USA. They start tricking you starting at the airport by attracting tourists by selling excursions tickets giving 75% off compared to the resort rates. In return, they will ask you to attend meetings at some resorts. They say, "We are showing you our resort tour just to show how exclusive it is and you can refer your friends".They will ask you to pay by cash for the excursion tour and the tickets will be given only after you finish touring their resort. They promise it will take only 1.5 hrs for the breakfast and the entire tour of the resort. Once you go to the resort, they will take pictures of your driver's license and provide free breakfast. They will take you to the meeting hall where they sell the unlimited vacation package membership. They pressurize you and give you the deadliest rate so you will be tempted to put down payment and they give 4 weeks of free vacation in any of the Hyatt resorts. Once you sign the contract they will give you all the excursion tickets and they ask you to immediately to leave the resort where you are staying. They also warn you not to say anyone the reason for leaving the resort. They made us stay in the secrets and promised it's a completely free stay. After the vacation, we got to know through this website it was a complete scam. We called immediately to cancel the membership. They agreed to close the membership and took closer to $3000 of our money which we put as the down payment for the membership. They refused to give back stating it was the closing cost money and will not be returned. We lost so much money on this trip. I am writing this painfully just to create awareness. I am planning to file a dispute against this issue and I am hoping will get my money back. The worst part is I went on this vacation to Los Cabos to create lifelong memories but now when I think of that place and its people it's disgusting to know how cheap and criminal-minded they are. Please stay away from this Unlimited vacation club.

Our decision to cancel was treated with respect and understanding. This product is not right for everyone but worth considering if you are prepared to commit to a certain style of holiday.

UVC is a holiday time share working within Hyatt and other brands. The product is basically an up front deposit to purchase future discounted hotel stays and cruises around the world on a subscription contract from 5 to 30 years.

Some reviews here look awful but you need to understand what you are buying and the Ts&Cs of the contract. You also have 5 days after signing to cancel if you so chose with a full no quibble refund.

Is the selling a bit high pressure - yes a bit (I would say assertive and enthusiastic) do they lie - not really, but you need to ask searching questions (which we did) and got straight answers (mostly).

We signed, paid a deposit and were given a couple of free spa days at our hotel and an upgrade (thank you). The next day we went through the contract with a fine toothcomb and did extensive research on the properties we would be entitled to use. We determined that we would be no better off (with our pattern of vacation) than booking our vacations on our own and we would be locked into UVC deals for 30 years.

This is not necessarily a bad thing - if you are a young-ish family with extended members and friends, enjoy staying in hotels in branded resorts in Latin America, The Mediterranean or Asia, are flixible on dates and go on at least 2 or 3 vacations a year - this deal could be great for you.

We politely declined the next day went back to the sales office explained our position and the UVC manager was entirely professional and understanding. He immediately accepted our cancellation and assured us a full refund would be completed with 5 working days (they did it in two).

In summary, UVC is not a scam, but you need to assure yourself that the product is suited for your needs - for many thousands it is.

They tell you that it will cost you 300 bucks to get a week of vacation in one of their chain hotels but they don’t tell you you have to pay an extra 1300 for the “all inclusive” which it’s not optional

High pressure sales. Hold your ground, just say "NO I CAN'T MAKE THAT COMMITMENT AT THIS TIME"

So, take advantage of the “free” stuff they give you, but know you will have a hard time leaving because they will stop caring about you once you say no.

This is the biggest rip off ever! They are a total scam and a sham. RUN AWAY! Their sweet talk is all lies. Jumping through hoops to book a week at a resort. It seems like only their older locations are available. Then there's an additional $300 booking fee on top of the $250 for the week. Thought we were getting a good deal...I guess it really was too good to be true.

I was looking to book a vacation at Secrets Royal Beach in Punta Cana on the UVC website. I checked the same booking on Expedia, just in case. Unbelievably, the same booking was $400 cheaper on Expedia and I decided to use the UVC Price Match policy. I called immediately to UVC customer service and the rep asked me to email him both quotes. After he got my quotes he agreed to book with the discounted price but told me that the booking would be non-refundable. I agreed to proceed because I got additional 25% savings from Expedia price. However, his supervisor refused to book. The supervisor told us some nonsense that was not even in our contract. After a long talk with the supervisor we realized that UVC doesn't want to honor their contract and will find any non-existing reasons to not book according to my contract. I asked the supervisor to refer to a particular paragraph in my contract and justify why she refused to honor the contract. She couldn't. Instead, she came up with reasons like credit/debit card payment or the part of the US where I live or time of the day or refundable/non-refundable and other nonsense that was not even mentioned in my contract. It was clear she would give me any lie just to avoid honoring the contract. I filed my complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). However, UVC never answered. UVC is a very dishonest company. Their goal is to scam North American consumers. I advise anyone to stay away from UVC.

If I could give this company negative stars I would. They simply lie to you about everything. They write down one thing but on the contract it is completely different. They pressure you into getting this while you are on vacation so that you don’t have much time to read the entire thing. They also go through the signing process so fast so you do not have a chance to read all the details. This is a complete scam just to get people out of their money. They want to bind you to the contract so they can keep making money off of innocent people. This is disgusting that this company is still in business. If the services have not been used I don’t see the harm in letting people out of their contract. Do not trust anyone from this company. Trust me keep your money and do not sign anything.

They are frauds. Everything they said is a lie. They gave us marketing sheets promising various access to resorts .... none of it is available.

Do not even listen
