I’ve had more bad experiences than good and it doesn’t seem to change
I’ve had bad experiences with them before and if I had an option I wouldn’t be using them now. The integrity of the drivers and driver culture is questionable. They make up stories on whether they’ve made delivery attempts or not. I remember a time I sat at home the entire day at I got a notification that delivery attempt was made. I’m literally sitting in my home get this notification ran outside and no trucks in site. Looked at ring camera and nope nobody came by for hrs, I was working on the road and had to leave the next day. Didn’t get the package for almost two weeks after that. Now today my current package was supposed to be delivered on Friday it’s now Monday. Package was supposed to be delivered in the am, I’ve gotten two notifications as of delivery delays and it’s now up in the air if it’ll make it today. Now I don’t know if it’s logistical, improper training, work place culture, but for this to be an ongoing problem stretching years I’d say there’s training and management issues as well. They used to be top tier but nowadays I wouldn’t trust them to deliver a fart on time.
worst delivery service
worst delivery service, been waiting all day for delivery,
and it still did not come, could not leave the house because they ask for signature, call customer service, they response is "sorry", it does not help ruining my day.
I am an artist
I am an artist. I sold my first painting that was to be shipped. The painting was supposed to be delivered yesterday. Then I got an update that they attempted to deliver after they said the package was delayed. I will never use them again. I had terrible service, and I paid $130.00 to ship a 4lb package. Can't count on them. Will take my business elsewhere.
Horrible customers service they could…
Horrible customers service they could hardly speak english nor understand anything. Ups lies to the customer several times and reassures the customer the package will be there next day then next week arrives and nothing. Incompetent company 100%.
WORST SHIPPING COMPANY EVER
WORST SHIPPING COMPANY EVERY ! I PAID 60€ to deliver a small package from France to CANADA. It took 15 days to land + days of delay, I missed my plane because of this. Lost 350 CAD. What a shame. worst customer service support also. Never use it.
The website is a disaster
The website is a disaster. Communicate with ups is a nightmare. I will never receive a ups delivery from a supplier ever again in my life
UPS hides behind fraudulent proof of delivery
I have contacted UPS multiple times about my undelivered/lost package.
Originally UPS claimed the address was wrong. (It was not-I verified correct with the sender) however I called and gave my address to customer service.
Next the package was reported as delivered (it was not, verified with security cameras on the reported day) The “proof of delivery” picture is a photo of a box in the woods. There is nothing in the image that identifies the location or that it is even my package. (It certainly doesn’t show any part of my property, my house, my doorstep etc.)
I called customer service again and had this discussion. CS said that the driver would retrieve the package and deliver it. I was asked to wait 48 hours. Again, the package was not delivered. I initiated a claim online, Now the investigation by UPS is marked closed, claiming delivered again using the unverifiable proof of delivery photo.
I again called customer service and this time got a completely different set of excuses. Apparently the file now says the package has been retrieved and the SENDER will be reimbursed and the package returned to sender overseas! I asked to speak to a supervisor, to be transferred to the claims department or to have the phone number of the claims department. Customer service denied me any of these options and said I must talk to the sender!
The sender told me UPS is extremely uncooperative and they are blacklisting UPS in their shipping department and will not use them again.
The sender is shipping a replacement to me even though the loss is UPS’s fault.
Obviously if the package has been retrieved, then it was certainly never delivered to me! This also proves the photo is misleading or fraudulent. Apparently there is a GPS location system in play for every “delivered” package - however UPS refuses to let the receiver of the missing shipment request this as it would 100% prove the package was not delivered to my address coordinates!!!
I have made an investigation through PayPal for the customs fees and PayPal has ruled in my favour and agrees that the photo is not a proof of delivery. PayPal immediately reimbursed me the customs fees.
I continue to speak to customer service reps who cannot help me and refuse to redirect or escalate my complaint.
Attached is the definitive proof of delivery photo that UPS Canada has used to deny this claim or compensation.
I cannot fathom the complete lack of integrity and the deception and criminality of the UPS organisation.

**1 star
**1 star — and only because zero stars isn't an option**
I have never experienced customer service this consistently frustrating, dishonest and exhausting.
My fiancé sent me a package from Ohio to Montreal. The package arrived in Canada and **cleared customs early in the morning**. This was NOT a customs issue.
What happened afterward was absolutely unacceptable.
For the next several days, I repeatedly contacted UPS because the package had not been delivered. **Again and again, I was told that the package was on the truck and would be delivered that day.** I was given assurances and promises that turned out to be completely unreliable.
So I waited. And waited. And called again.
Every time, I had to explain the situation again, speak to another representative, and listen to another promise that the package was coming.
It finally arrived **four days later than it should have**.
But the nightmare didn't end there.
I have now been trying to get the refund I am entitled to, and dealing with UPS customer service has been one of the most frustrating experiences I have ever had as a customer. For the past month, I have spent an unreasonable amount of time calling, explaining, following up, being transferred, waiting, and being given information that leads nowhere.
At this point, my experience with UPS can be summed up in three words:
**Lies. Empty promises. Frustration.**
The delay itself was frustrating, but delays happen. What is completely unacceptable is repeatedly telling a customer that a package is “on the truck” and will be delivered when that information clearly cannot be relied upon.
A customer should not have to spend days chasing a shipping company for basic, accurate information about the whereabouts of their own package.
And a customer certainly should not have to spend an entire month chasing a refund after the delivery problem has already occurred.
UPS has completely destroyed my confidence in its service. I will actively avoid using UPS in the future, and I will think twice about purchasing from any company that uses UPS as its shipping provider.
**This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had.**
If UPS cannot provide accurate tracking information, keep the promises made by its representatives, and actually resolve a customer's issue when they call repeatedly for help, then what exactly is the customer supposed to trust?
**Absolutely unacceptable.**
Over multiple weeks there have been…
Over multiple weeks there have been significant delays in responses, failures to respond, delays and failures to release necessary documentation, and contradictory statements by multiple agents with all of them assuring me the matter will be addressed and corrected for.
This progressed to the point of essentially locking me in a funnel of business with them at an inflated cost.
While I do not have a record of the calls, I do have email exchanges showing some attempts but most are token efforts at best. As a CRM professional working in Financial Services, I will be sharing my experiences with peers to help others make informed decisions and avoid UPS.
I had a very poor and frustrating experience with UPS
I had a very poor experience with UPS. There seems to be no way to reach an actual human being—only an AI system that does not understand the issue.
All I wanted to do was authorize the delivery of my package without requiring a signature, but instead, the delivery was postponed until the next day, which was very inconvenient for me.
I tried contacting someone, explaining the situation to the AI, and even finding an email address to resolve the problem, but there was simply no way to get any help. It seems impossible to speak with a real person, and the AI consistently fails to understand the issue.
I am very dissatisfied with the service.
paye plus cher pour livraison plus…
paye plus cher pour livraison plus rapide et ne respect pas le délais de livraison
This company sucks
Slower than molasses and the packages always come completely obliterated received parts from the United States literally missing half of the parts in the box when discussed with the UPS driver that dropped it off, shrugged it off and said he would file a damaged package claim this company is an absolute joke. Customer service doesn’t care their AI system is an absolute joke to get to a customer service person figure your shit out UPS.
Why does anyone use UPS!
Why does anyone use UPS!? They’re the absolute worst. It takes 2x as long as anyone else - packages are always delayed and even when they do arrive late, it arrives at 8pm.
Do not use UPS if you need your package in a timely manner or at all - because they’ll lie too and say it was delivered but it actually wasn’t, or they’ll say it’s delayed 3 days because the driver couldn’t get into your apartment building - when you live in a house.
If I valued my customers I would not use UPS. And if the company you’re purchasing from is using UPS with no alternative options - trust me when I tell you they don’t value you as a customer. Sad Fact.
As I stated before
As I stated before. The worst delivery service ever. They have changed the delivery time on me 3 times already. This is pathetic.
Dear UPS Customer Service Team,
Dear UPS Customer Service Team,
I am writing to request an immediate full refund for my import duties.
I live in Canada, my order was made on from the US on July 31st, 2026.
Estimated delivery date was supposed to be in August 8th, 2026.
According to the tracking history, the package arrived in Winnipeg on August 6th 2026 and the import duties was paid on August 5th, 2026.
However, the package has remained in Winnipeg since August 6th and never reached my destination(Saskatchewan). I have been monitoring and tracking the package closely.
I tracked my package today and was extremely dissapointed to see the status now says "Returning to Sender".
I paid CAD 122.53 in import duties on August 5th, 2026. And the package was scheduled to be delivered to me on August 8th, 2026.
Now, without the package ever reaching me in my own Province, it is being returned to the sender directly from Winnipeg.
I therefore request for a refund of the full amount I have paid.
Import duties Charges: CAD 122.53.
I should not be financially responsible for an order that was never delivered to me, particularly when I had already paid the requested import charges before the scheduled delivery date.
Please process my refund immediately and advise me the process for recovering the CAD 122.53 import duties that I paid for a package I never received.
I have the tracking information and proof of payment for the import charges available if required.
Please treat matter as urgent and confirm when my refund has been initiated.
Thank you so much.
Kind regards
Aishatu Canada.
Delivery Failed. Customer Service Failed. Package Still in Warehouse.
August 20, 2026 Update:
I contacted UPS again to ask a very simple question: when will this undelivered package be returned to the sender? A UPS representative told me that the package will not automatically be returned to the sender. I was told that it could remain at the UPS warehouse until UPS eventually “destroys” it. I find this astonishing—not only because UPS has neither delivered merchandise that I paid for nor returned it to the sender, but because UPS apparently believes it can eventually destroy merchandise that belongs to someone else. According to what its own representative told me, this is apparently what happens to packages that UPS does not deliver and does not return.
I called UPS again later about the same issue: when will UPS send the package back to the shipper? This representative did not know but kept asking me for the shipper's address. I repeatedly reminded her that I am the recipient, not the shipper, and therefore I do not know the shipper's return address. She said she has the return address in front of her but she needed me to tell her what it is to send it back. UPS accepted this package from the shipper, transported it, and currently has it in its possession. Yet UPS was asking me—the recipient—to provide the address of its own customer before it could apparently deal with returning the package.
The representative then began giving me an example involving an Amazon order. I stopped her and pointed out that if I order something from Amazon, I would have no idea which warehouse it was shipped from. It could even have been shipped by a third-party seller. As the recipient, I would have no reason to know the sender's return address. UPS is the company that accepted the package from the sender. Why is UPS asking the recipient to tell it where its own shipment came from?
After numerous calls to UPS, I have received contradictory explanations from different representatives, while the package remains sitting in a UPS warehouse. I originally requested that the shipment be held at a UPS Access Point because the retailer inexplicably shipped it by UPS even though the delivery address was a Canada Post PO Box. This should have been a simple delivery-address problem. Instead, UPS has neither delivered the package nor returned it, and I am now being told that it will eventually be “destroyed.”
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
My experience with UPS has been extraordinarily frustrating from beginning to end.
UPS accepted an international shipment addressed to an address beginning with “PO Box” despite the fact that UPS does not deliver to PO Box addresses. As soon as I received the UPS tracking number and realized the merchant had used UPS, I requested that the package be redirected to a UPS Access Point for pickup.
That should have solved the problem. It didn't.
The package arrived in Richmond, BC and was released by Customs on August 10. After that, tracking repeatedly showed “In Warehouse” day after day instead of the package being sent to the Access Point.
I called UPS customer service repeatedly trying to find out what was happening. Different agents gave me different explanations, including one who told me the package still needed to be released by Customs even though UPS's own tracking showed that Customs had already released it.
Eventually I was transferred to UPS Brokerage, where I was told that the shipper had instructed UPS not to deliver the package to me. I asked the obvious question: If UPS had been instructed not to deliver it, why was the package simply being held in the warehouse instead of being returned to the sender? The agent could not explain why.
I asked UPS to provide in writing what its Brokerage agent had told me about the shipper's instructions. A case was opened, and UPS sent me an email containing the case number. I was told I would receive the requested information within 24 hours. More than 24 hours later, I still have not received it.
Meanwhile, the package continued to sit in the UPS warehouse. It was not delivered to the requested Access Point and it was not returned to the sender.
UPS accepted a package it could not deliver to the original address. My request to redirect it to an Access Point did not resolve the problem. Repeated calls to customer service produced conflicting information. And when UPS was apparently instructed not to deliver the package, it somehow ended up in limbo in their warehouse instead of being returned.
I should never have had to make call after call trying to figure out what UPS intended to do with a package in its own possession. Resolving UPS's delivery problem should not have become the recipient's responsibility.
This has been one of the worst delivery and customer service experiences I have ever had.
UPS why I have stopped shopping at…
UPS why I have stopped shopping at certain businesses.
UPS showed up to my building and didn't even bother coming in or communicating there presence. All the other companies safely bring packages to the apartment door and knock, ESPECIALLY if a signature is needed. UPS showed up and stuck a sticker by the buzzer panel at the front door. No one uses the front door because there are side doors coming in from the parking arias so there was no way I would have seen that sticker. I know it was there because the superintendent cleaned 15 UPS stickers off the panel and inquired at the apartments. THAT'S NOT HER JOB that was just kindness. UPS just stuck the sticker on the front door wall , left then sent me a message saying I have to go and pick it up. I get one day off a week. I get Sunday and Monday off but Monday is house work laundry and food prep for the week so Sunday is my only day to my self and im expected to spend it doing someone else's job for free. As a new farmer I have to drive two hours north east for work and sleep there for part of the week then drive back home at night so I can have ONE day of rest. I assumed that having something delivered would be fast and convenient but not with UPS. They don't care about people at all. UPS is redundant. If you are a small business do not use UPS to deliver good to customers because this company is why I have stopped shopping at certain businesses. No mater how good the customers experience is with your company UPS will erase that good experience with its anti-customer-service business practices.
UPS will ruin your small business. to repeat my self ... this company is why I have stopped shopping at certain businesses.
Boo for lazy UPS delivery people. The information is available to you, use some critical thinking and use it.
Delivery attempted two times - meanwhile I'm literally sitting at the correct address, no call to be let into the building (name's on the package and on the call directory), no notification left behind. On the "third attempt", I literally catch the guy in the parking lot, and his excuse is "there's no unit number on the label". I confirmed from the shipping company's database my information was correct, including the unit number. So boo on that company for not including the unit number when entered appropriately. However, bigger boo for the UPS guy not using any critical thinking to use the name on the package.
Got a delivery from home depot
Got a delivery from home depot. Gallon of fence stain. Clearly stated on box fragile and this side up. Arrived on step laying on side. Opened box and stain around lid and going down the side. UPS has got to be the worst company to deliver stuff. Rating of 1. Bosses are goofs that dont care. I would NEVER call them to deliver. Gona boycott homedepot for using ups.
