Considering you ghosted us and never replied to any of my emails after we had agreed to go with your offer only for you to then drop the offer by £50k, I think it’s a bit rich to ask for a review on the basis of your service.

Very poor , such a lowball offer

Put simply, I was ghosted.

Loads of targeted ads to get me to submit my property for a valuation. Then no recontact afterwards despite my chasing.

Was a total waste of time

Don’t trust this company, after several messages between myself and a Paul McGonagle , I was guaranteed a figure of £305 k for my property not a penny more or less , have saved the text messages for these exchanges, then he couldn’t be contacted again , so contacted there main office, was told underwriters had agreed £300k , I mentioned all the above they’d look into this , then rang back today 2/6/26 , and told the figure was £285k I questioned why was I quoted £305 k answer we are looking into this … They claim to be regulated and transparent again text to show this ..

Do not trust or believe anything they say this industry needs proper regulation..

I asked Upstix to provide proof of funds , a guarantee from solicitors on the exact figure , promised again this was being collated , never arrived do not trust them..

So angry at being lied to…🤯🤬😡

Been through this several times. I go through their website. They reply. All seems very slick. I get an e mail regarding offer. I then get a call, we chat. They’re then supposed to get back to me. I get a mail saying they tried to contact me and they invite me to contact them on the enclosed number. I call a million times, leave messages, reply to the mail AND THEY NEVER REPLY.

The company offered to buy my property and arranged to confirm the agreed value. Then I was called to be informed politely they weren’t interested, which was fair, but then I was constantly bombarded with emails offering to buy the property. On every occasion I replied with my interest only to be ignored. A very strange situation in my opinion, if you’re not interested please don’t keep emailing your unintended business.

Upstix contacted me via sms, introduced their agent as ‘Sam’, who asked me questions about the house I was selling. At some point I realised I was talking to an AI bot, which was not disclosed to me and I find incredibly dishonest / shady. I think Upstix should use some of the vast profit they make to hire real people!

Upstix gave me a valuation, I agreed to proceed. I then received several emails and was asked to book a call to receive an offer which I did. I received several text messages reminding me of my telephone appointment at 13.30 on 17th April 2026. 13.30 came and went, no call so I waited and waited but no call. It's now 2nd May 2026, still no call, no 'offer' and I'm still waiting! I accept that when they say they buy 'any house', they don't literally mean they buy 'any house'. Time wasters. I don't like the way they do business.

We used Upstix to sell a house through a probate process. The team at Upstix were very professional, understood the specifics of our situation and were able to move very quickly. We moved from initial instruction to completion in less than 6 weeks with no need for any travel or inconvenience.

Got me over the line with the sale despite some major obstacles out of my control on my side.

They aren’t a transparent company.
First of all, it’s fair to make a below-market offer if you can proceed quickly, but they will really delay your sale.
I worked with Paul, and every day he said the same thing — “Your sale is approved, and you’ll receive the memo of sale from legal today” — but that “today” never came.
Soon, their replies to messages disappeared, and they stopped answering calls. There was no formal communication from them. Occasionally, a team member would pick up the phone, but they wouldn’t do much apart from forwarding my details to Paul, who never responded. It was clear they just wanted to hold the purchase.
I genuinely don’t understand why anyone would do that or why they wouldn’t be transparent about it.
From day one, I asked for a clear timeline, but they never gave specific dates. It seemed they didn’t know much themselves and just wanted to create the impression that things were moving quickly.
They would promise progress within a week, but then wouldn’t respond at all. Perhaps they’ve managed to save many deals, but in my case, I wouldn’t recommend them.

UPDATE : Received a call from them. They were lying the whole time. Solicitors were never delaying this they were trying it to sell the flat to investors which takes time. Initially they said with so much confidence that we are buying it directly but they lied the whole time. Paul was my POC and I’m not sure if everyone works like this at Upstix but reading the reviews and also looking at my experience they are not worthy of your time.

They did exactly what they said they would at each stage of the process - no last minute haggling and very responsive every time I called. Kris and Alex were both great

Waste of time they would say slightly lower offer but that would 30% to 40% lower.

Kris M was very helpful throughout the process, was quick to respond and always kept us in the loop.

Quality property stock being offered with clear requirements around price required and timescales. Easy to do business with 🙌

When our sale to another company (Bettermove) fell through at the last minute, we were devastated and thought that our chance to move to our dream home was gone.

On a Friday afternoon, I took what I thought was a 'long shot' and phoned Upstix to see if there was anything they could do. I spoke to Alex who was absolutely brilliant and I immediately felt confident that they could help us. They managed to arrange a deal with an investor the same day that could purchase our property and there was a memorandum of sale in place on the Monday morning. We managed to sell in the timeframe that we needed to keep our chain alive.

Alex and Josh were a pleasure to deal with, they kept me up to date every step of the way right up until the completion date and we are now living in our dream home, all thanks to Upstix stepping in to rescue the sale.

Twice told they would get back in a few days was yold with the underwriters. They didn't ever come back so lost out on three weeks when it could have been on the market. So disappointing
