Bought some of your paint for my kitchen which I thought would only take two coats but I was wrong it took two tins 5 litres of paint for a tiny kitchen which asnt got one full wall

Very helpful and sorted out the issue quickly

Told them of my problem and after email ing further details the problem was resolved within a day.

£52 for 5 litres, absolutly insane prices, when you compare to leading brands that perform the same or better.

that'll be the nail in the coffin for what once was a superb paint

I've always recommended valspar in the past but no more I had big issues with my last batch ( £200 pounds worth ) I contacted customer services I'm a 30+ year decorator and to be talked to like I've never pick up a brush before and have the problem clearly not looked into and fobed of the with something it was not I found insulting .
I will never use valspar again and hopefully others will follow

Paint is great but tins are extremely difficult to open if you don't have large hands

Extremely disappointed with Valspar.
After using their paint, we experienced significant blistering and bubbling which resulted in us having to pay for additional materials and a decorator to put the job right. What should have been a straightforward decorating project turned into a stressful and expensive problem for my family.
Throughout the complaint process, Valspar repeatedly suggested a range of possible causes but ultimately refused to accept any responsibility for the product's performance. Despite the time, inconvenience and financial cost we incurred, their final resolution was the offer of a single tin of paint as a goodwill gesture.
The most frustrating part is that the cost of correcting the issue far exceeded the value of the paint offered. After spending considerable time providing information and corresponding with customer services, we were left feeling that our concerns had not been properly investigated or taken seriously.
As a customer, I expected better support and a fairer resolution. Instead, my family has been left out of pocket and extremely disappointed with how this matter has been handled.
Based on our experience, I would think very carefully before purchasing Valspar products again.

Paint incorrect colour after being mixed colours don’t match what swatches are, won’t be buying any of this again.

I've never heard of this company before yet they sent me a customer satisfaction survey and asked me to write a review. I have no idea how they got my email address and I wasn't happy to receive unsolicited email

We went for mid sheen for our hallway had a colour match from farrow and ball , they whole experience has been a nightmare we are currently on tin 3 where we can’t get an even colour, streaks, patches, it’s like the texture changes as you roll we have bought short pile long pile it’s too late to change now absolutely AWFUL NEVER WILL WE USE IT AGAIN ITS COSTS A FORTUNE FOR A LITTLE HALLWAY

Bought Valspar paint from B&Q it was is expensive, to my experience the worst paint on the market, had hessian colour added in. The colour hessian wasn't the right shade, its more like pink shade and now im left with the colour i hate because B&Q customer services told me that once I've had the colour added in i would not be able to return or exchange the paint
About the quality of the paint is very poor. There is no smoothness on our walls anymore and it feels like masonry paint has been used indoors. I would never recommend this paint to anyone and would never use it again myself.

Couldn’t do anything because I had booked and had paid the decorator.

Spent a small fortune on their custom made paint for metal & wood exterior within 6months its cracked and peeled off.
We’ve had experiences with their interior wood paint, where it scratches off skirting boards and door frames everywhere.
Not just a waste of money but also my time, it’s all got to be done 😡

Originally my wife chose the colour ‘electric clementine’ and after testing we painted the entire bedroom over two days with this wonderful colour.
She then spent the next two nights upset as she hated the colour, she’d chosen.
So, we headed back to B&Q to choose another colour and spend another two days repainting.
Both colours amazing and Valspars guarantee meant we got our money back on the first paint.
Customer service was exceptional.

So the Valspar money back guarantee doesn’t mean anything. I purchased 2 of the same colour mix paint and they were both completely different colours. The store said it may have been a faulty batch but couldn’t elaborate further. When I contacted valspar for a refund on the paint that i don’t like as it’s not the right colour, they’ve said “not our problem contact the store”. Not good enough Valspar.

Would give minus stars if I could. Bought a 5l tin of Valspar mixed at B&Q. Started painting with it and finished one wall when I noticed it had started bubbling all over. The paint acted like a paint stripper and took off two layers of paint beneath it. Had to scrape the whole wall off, sand it and buy new paint. And wasted a whole day of lovely bank holiday weather in the process. Absolute nightmare.

We bought 2x5l paint and the colour was not turn up the way wanted. I phoned valspar customer service I spoke with Bianca, she was really kind and very helpfull. Let me know about the love your colour guarantee. She explained everything what I need to know about the guarantee.

When everything was confirmed I spoke with Mario about the refund, he was really helpfull as well.

I have used valspar “sling your hook” in the gold tin in matte for years now, I absolutely love this colour and the coverage is amazing. It is more pricey but you get what you pay for. I also noticed too no spray back using a roller or drips using the paint brush. I will forever use this paint!

It’s nice to have access to a service like this that is helpful yet free at the point of contact. The staff are friendly helpful and courteous .
