I left a review a week ago which was one star because of a complete lack of communication - no order acknowledgement - phone line unanswered and no reply or acknowledgement of emails and whats apps sent to them. Out of the blue my order arrived 2 days ago ! It was correct and well packed. I thought a 3 might be more appropriate but no more as I have no invoice, no carrier or supplier communication at all. Not the way to run a business

Order took 3 weeks to arrive after 2 email chasers and then contained an incorrect bottle. Since then numerous emails have not been replied to and, as others have said, no-one answers the "help line". Delivery charges are quite high but a far from premium service is delivered.

It’s been six weeks since I ordered four bottles of wine and there’s been no sign of an actual delivery date, which keeps shifting every day on their tracking system. I have written numerous emails and a WhatsApp message, none of which they have bothered to reply to. At this point, I would be happy with a refund but have no faith that it would ever be forthcoming. I will never buy from them again.

Initially I complained to the company about delivery taking such a long time. However, it became apparent my order shipped from Lanzarote was at the UK port in under a week. So many thanks to all those who voted to leave the EU as it was tied up in customs for 2 weeks. Once released it was delivered in two days.
Packing was excellent in order to prevent damage and everything was delivered safely. Certainly would order again from Vinissimus.

Thieves. Avoid if possible.

I ordered 3 bottles of wine and the dispatch date kept getting pushed back without explanation.

Contacted them on whatsapp to enquire about the status and no response still 3 weeks later.

Only one email response after I requested a refund due to unjustified delays. I received confirmation from the client support team that the refund was issued and should be with me shortly.

2 weeks later and the refund is nowhere to be found.

This is how business should NOT be done.

Placed order 12 July 26, still nothing has arrived. Contacted them, was told it would be dispatched the following week and would arrive by 17th July, still nothing. Was informed it would arrive by 24th July, still nothing. Now I'm not getting any replies from them. I have used them in the past been really good. I have requested refund but ignored.

I ordered wine. The date of the delivery kept moving forward until eventually I contacted them only to be told that they were moving warehouses and it would be some time until they could deliver my wine and that two bottles were not available after all. Now I am waiting for a response, despite chasing, to confirm that I have had my order cancelled and received a refund

My order said it had been delivered by DHL and the photograph of proof of delivery showed a pavement with no parcel!!! It was obviously NOT delivered.
I contacted customer services who said they had contacted DHL and reviewed the same photo but they would look into it. …….still waiting. In the meantime mg daughter in law doesn’t have her wine.

I did see all the negative comments & did worry. However! I was kept up to date with where my order was & DHl were informative too.
It didn’t come for Father’s Day as I would’ve liked. But it arrived & it’s perfect. So! If u want to order for. Special occasion, make sure u give a good 2/3 weeks. This will avoid disappointment.

I tried to call Vinissimus UK many times: it seems nobody picks up ever!? So I wrote to them: noboby replied either!! So I contacted Vinissimus in Spain, and I was very pleasantly surprised. They replied immediately, were very customer focused, pro, friendly and efficient. I placed my order, they acknowledged it, took the trouble of following up and keeping me informed of the progress of my order. And my wines arrived exactly when announced, and exactly what I had ordered. So what I am learning is "deal with the Spanish team and forget the UK one altogether!"

I ordered a case of Spanish wine on 25th May and then read the reviews on here and started to panic! After a week I contacted vinissimus (via email) as I hadn't received my order and they actually responded right away and advised my order was being delivered to the UK via ship, I then received my wine a few days later so I was pleasantly surprised after reading the reviews on here and worrying a little. But all in all a great service :)

Chose to order from here because they had a decent selection of hard to find Spanish wines. I haven't received my order after more than two weeks and have no idea if it's ever coming. Customer service simply ignore your emails and the phone number is unattended. Take your custom elsewhere.

Quoted delivery dates are wrong. I was quoted 5-8 days and it was 20 days before I received my order. Customer service consisted of completely ignoring my request for a refund and instead telling me lies regarding issues with customs and issues with the truck! Do not use this company.

I placed my order on 03/12, had it confirmed the next day by email from them and it was shipped the day after. They gave me an estimate with UPS for 12/12 and my wine was delivered on 10/12, two days early. They were communicative all the way through, I will be ordering wine from them again as their service was excellent.
Yes the company is in Spain but with the speed they delivered you wouldn’t know.

Ordered via web site, tracking number provided not recognised for days. Eventual reply to email. No reply to messaging and calls to Spain-based (WhatsApp) phone number. No real customer service.

As a customer of Vinissimus from a few years ago, some of the reviews here caused me some apprehension when an issue arose in a recent order. However, I have to say that the service I received was exemplary.
The issue was a delay in the delivery, hence my concern. The delay was caused by a breakage in transit (which obviously was beyond Vinissimus' control). My order arrived a few days late, minus 1 bottle, repackaged by the carrier. I then contacted Vinissimus. I was assured that the missing bottle would be replaced and it duly arrived today.
All emails were answered promptly, politely and efficiently. I am pleased to say that I cannot fault the service and my experience was and is very positive.
On the negative side, it became apparent that the 0870 number on the website is no longer functional, and it should be removed. This, understandably, has caused frustration among other customers.
However, for my part, this did not outweigh the care and attention shown by the staff in dealing with the issue that arose and on balance I regard a five-star rating as justified.

I read a lot of bad reviews here but I’m going to give my honest opinion. The wines took a couple of weeks (a week longer than initially stated) but when I asked customer services they told me they were stuck in customs- basically not surprising since we came out of the European Union. The wines that arrived eventually were fine but there was one bottle fewer than ordered. When I queried this they gave a refund for the missing bottle. So all good but I think they could make it clearer that UK orders may take longer than the predicted date and they could have told me in advance that they weren’t sending all the wines. I won’t use again for this reason which is a shame as I love the wines and they did respond to the issues quickly via email.

I have used Vinissimus previously with no issues. However I placed an order in August which is nowhere to be seen.

I have attempted to contact Vinissimus via email, UK and Spanish phone number and social media dozens of times without response. Their phone line times out after 5 minutes every time you call.

I have resorted to marking the transaction as fraud with my credit card provider in the hope that gets Vinissimus’ attention.

I’ll never be using Vinissimus again and I suggest nobody else does.

While they have a .co.uk website , it turns out all wines are shipped from Spain. Unfortunately they make it worse by using UPS which in my experience never knowingly ever deliver anything close to on time. My order is now a week late and after bouncing around in trucks in the hot weather will doubtless be ruined by now. Avoid.

I ordered wine from Vinissimus thinking it was a UK-based store, since their website is .co.uk and they show prices in GBP.
In reality, the order was shipped from Spain, travelled through France, and finally reached the UK in 9 DAYS— in the middle of summer, with temperatures around 40°C. This is WINE, not canned goods.

When I realised the delay and risk, I asked them to cancel the order before delivery. They ignored my request and gave no response. By the time it arrived, the wine had already been on a long European road trip.

Completely misleading, unacceptable shipping practices, and poor customer service. I will never order from them again, and I strongly advise others to check reviews before buying.
