This was a 1st time experience for me - selling old bits & pieces that had been sat in a cupboard for ages. I was very impressed by the valuation and cash payment offered, and will do it again sometime.
However the magazine which advertised the event was a bit misleading. The "15 minute" waiting time suggested was actually about an hour and a half, the registration process on arrival was unclear, one person wasn't called when it was his turn and waited way too long to be seen, and several items were refused because "they were too big to fit in the car" (!) despite the magazine saying "we take all ... in any condition"
I would recommend using this service, but suggest taking a drink & a book, & be prepared for quite a wait.

What can you lose?
1. Took 2 boxes of stuff.
2. Not kept waiting too long.
3 Friendly assessor quick and efficient.
4. Took it all, price paid straight into my account from my bank card info and was well above my expectation.
So to anyone considering using them, no 20% auction house commision and if you are not happy with the price you can always say no.

Shambles to the start of the event they…
Prior to the start of the event they the organisers got the times wrong and we had to queue for 30 minutes with no information, someone eventually arrived to put tables out but with no information, at this point we were discussing whether to pack it in and go, a man then arrived with more knowledge and it all started to happen. Very un- professional and inefficient. The guy I then spoke to by being very knowledgeable and honest.

A good experience.
A friendly experience with a guy who was knowledgeable and helpful.
It was our first time going to a valuation but we were put at ease straight away. We were not put under any pressure to accept their offer.
I would recommend them if you have unwanted items.

Good price for loft contents
I clean my loft out last week then got a leaflet through the door for vintage & collectables, I thought why not take what I thought was a bit of toot round, turns out I got more money than expected! Service was quick in & out, transferred the money into my bank, I would thoroughly recommend them

Five star . I had a gold house, watch and chain. All priced seperatley and given a fair price. I had been to three others for valuation and VC gave me the top price.

Well organised and supportive. Hazel free transactions on items purchased and good advice rendered for items they didn't buy. Good price are paid for the item and seller are given informed decisions on either to sell their items or not.

Hi 👋 im happy with what I got for the rolex I would have liked a bit more but hey ho I got some money towards my motorhome repairs plus I got sone extra for my bracelet what j got a good price for . I'd really like to be invited another time when you are in scarborugh again as I have more jewellery thst I've sorted out so I look forward to you coming again. It was very dignified as well so all round it went as well as it could have gone . But I wished I'd have got a bit more for the watch . Pointless
It was my first time going to one of their roadshows.
Before going I contacted them to ask whether the item I had was accepted for valuation and I was told it was.
I waited for around one hour in a church hall that was criminally hot.
One lady that arrived after me was called, so I protested.
The valuer looked at my item and said that it was not something they were interested in.
Complete waste of two hours of my time.

If you were advised prior to attending that your item was suitable for assessment, this would have been because we do routinely deal in that category of item. However, all items remain subject to the professional discretion of the valuer upon physical inspection. The final decision to proceed is determined by a range of factors.
We understand and appreciate how disappointing and frustrating it must have been to travel to the event, wait to be seen, and then learn that the item was not suitable for purchase following inspection.
