I taken a free trial with a mobile I purchased. However really hard to work out how to cancel it and got charged twice and didn't really want it. I find it confusing as couldn't see it on my vodafone account, or talk to anyone about it. Ended up emailing someone, lets see if it cancels.

The policy wording was sent to your email address on the 19th January 2026 & this provided details of how to cancel. However, we have received your email this morning & can confirm your policy is now cancelled with immediate effect, and you should have received an email from us confirming it.
WCS - brilliant insurance company
WCS handled my phone insurance brilliantly. They have been excellent all through the process with clear instructions and responsive communication. They did say that it could take up to 10 working days to fix but the phone was sorted the day after they received my damaged phone. If I need insurance again for any of my phones I would definitely go with WCS

They were really professional and got this resolved quickly, the only issue I had was with apple and find my iPhone. But to be fair once this was sorted with apple they got the issue resolved within a few days. I would highly recommend them

We are sorry to hear you feel this is a scam but must reject your accusation. When you purchased your handset with Fonehouse in January you selected to take out Accidental Damage insurance with WCS. Your Schedule and Policy Wording were emailed to you on 20/01/2026 to your shown email address. As you cancelled the insurance on 04/02/2026 no premiums have been taken.
Cover was put in place in good faith and on instruction from Fonehouse, therefore we would kindly request you, to please amend your review.

Whilst we are sorry you are unhappy you only rang to cancel the direct debit yesterday - the premium was collected the day before. You said you called previously to ask about cancelling but we have no record of your call - maybe you called someone else?

The staff was very rude talking to each other in their own language and laughing in front of me while I was being served I felt very uncomfortable and felt like crying 😢. I will never go back to that store again on ( Cardiff Queen Street) called ( iCrack ) and and advice everyone else to do the same. The worst experience I've ever had.
