I didn't use the service in the end, but my experience talking things through with Ron was excellent. He wasn't pushy and seemed honest. We spoke several times and he answered my questions in detail. He came back with an improvement on the first offer, but this was still too low for me to proceed. Only rating four stars has I didn't use the full service.

Here we are again writing a complaint about We Buy Any House, or their correct title and advertisement should read, WE DON’T BUY ANY HOUSE”.
Totally unprofessional and bordering on scandalous which should be looked into further.
It seems they try to target people/sellers who they deem as desperate for cash…
We had 2 properties initially valued at approx £120,000 jointly. After we indicated it didn’t meet our expectations we reviewed the position again and proposed a joint compromise offer from them of approx £130,000.
The MANAGER overviewing the case said they could only now offer £70,000. What a complete insult and some say trying to take advantage of the situation so they were instructed to close their file immediately.
I’m sure reporting this to the BBC Rip off Britain may expose the story

AVOID AT ALL COSTS PARTICULARLY IF YOU ARE VULNERABLE or HAVE MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES. I would give zero stars if i could. Initially impressed but after their conditional offer was withdrawn (because they were relying on an incompetent, borderline fraudulent surveyors report which we provided evidence of), the contract was then cancelled. They are currently refusing to remove their application for a Land registry restriction on the title to our property, knowing full it will prevent another sale we agreed a with another company and I my onward completion, which I will lose if they don't remove the OS1.

They also continued to repeatedly call and make offers which were still below the conditional offer, which we were not obliged to accept, and refused to take no for an answer. I've notified them they are liable for damages including the loss of my purchase but they seem to not care.

Ww will ne making formal complaint, and to the Property Ombudsman and court claim for damages.

Your response is utter rubbish, I have Solicitors emails and a formal complaint (which you've not acknowledged or replied to, although the read recept shows ot was received and read) to prove it! I've reported to Trading Standards and will be issuing a claim for damages. Thanks for the response though, it helps my claim and confirms your company are liars.

Easy to understand the agent and the options open for negotiation

Now 83, l last sold and bought a property in 1979. Needing now to ‘downsize’ l found it very different now. After wading through several confusing online pages until l found ‘We buy Any House’ showing the place l would like to buy.
Very quickly, a young man…a human being! at the end of the phone answered and kindly gave me polite and detailed help.
lt involved his consulting another young man, Sandy, and they finally were able to grant me a viewing of the property l want to buy. This is not always possible these days unless one’s own property is already sold, or at least, on the market. Full marks to these gentlemen and ‘WBAH’

This company came to see us in January 2014 and offered us a very low offer on our house so we refused to sell to them . Fast forward to 2026 and we are told while trying to remortgage that they actually put a charge on the property for refusal to sell to them and have never removed it. They have been contacted and they demanded £997 to remove the charge. We had no notification of the charge on the property and they couldn't tell us why it was placed against the house but most likely because we took the property of the market. We paid the fee and here we are 8 weeks later and they have not sent any paperwork and refuse to answer emails so we can't move forward with the remortgage. Next step is complaint to Omnibuds Man.
