Beware! Genuinely a scam company. The salesman who originally connected with my father promised him they would build us a website for a flat fee and provided marketing services with a set monthly spend that I was comfortable with. Upon starting the onboarding process I had to spend hours a week practically spoon feeding their 100% overseas engineers the information to build the website. This part was grueling because like I mentioned all the engineers were not based in North America so every single time I would submit something you’d have to wait until the following day for a response or any progress. For anyone who’s running a business and thinking this will help them it simply won’t. I had to spend more time working on building the website than focusing on my own business to the point where I was confused what I was actually paying for. Not to mention, every time they completed a step in the website building I would have to go back and either re-write 90% of what they were trying to put on my website or completely steer them in another direction because it wasn’t even applicable to the services I was providing. I can understand 1 or 2 times being they were unfamiliar with my industry but no exaggeration it was every single time. The salesman promised us if we were not at the “top of google” in 90 days we would have a money back guarantee. Surprise! In the 8 or 9 months we were with them, even when searching our name directly we weren’t at the top of google. Next comes their wonderful marketing… they ran cookie cutter Facebook and instagram adds that were plain, boring, and half the time inaccurate (which of course I would have to take the time to fix). They promised to bring me leads which to their credit they did.. they brought me over 500 leads. Guess what, not 1 singular lead was applicable to my business type. We were trying to find clients that needed business funding and I specifically gave them a list of qualifiers that the leads needed to have in order to work at all and there wasn’t a single lead that even had enough time in business to bring to one of my banks. I told them every lead needs to be in business for at least 6 months to a year and every single lead that I spent hours calling were a few weeks in business and looking for startup money which I specially explained to them was not my business model and they knew that from the very start. I escalated the situation over my account manager and he refereed me to one of the “managing partners” who told me I’m either not doing a good enough job selling to the leads they brought me or they needed more ad spend to fix the problems… Now, circling back to the beginning of my statement where I said the salesman cut us a deal for a flat fee and marketing spend. After they built my very underwhelming and cookie cutter website that looked almost identical to all the rest of their clients. The minute the website went live they started charging me several thousand more a month than I agreed to originally with the salesman. I told them I wanted out, they came back at me and said I have a contract and the only way out was to pay the rest of my contract in full. I couldn’t get out until I had to put a stop payment order through my credit card. After all of that, I don’t have access to the website I paid for, they sent me the “files” of my website that literally had other clients information on it, I didn’t get 1 qualified lead out of it, I wasted hours of my life I could have been focusing on building my business, and also lost thousands of dollars I could not get back. I don’t know what else you would call that besides a scam. You genuinely could not pay me to work with these people ever again. I don’t know how they sleep at night knowing they are providing false promises, baiting and switching, and above all else trying to bury you in credit card charges.

We have a specific customer base. We know what drives them. Other companies tried to push us into their little box of presumptions, SEO, Social Media, InstaGram, etc. While these give exposure, they simply do not convert and THAT is the whole point of Advertising and Marketing!
