I received the 2 pairs. One was the wrong size, a smaller one! And now they only offer to give me 80% off buying another pair! I too like most people thought they shipped out of US as stated they are in NY! Not worth buying from!!

First delivery, the shoes I ordered as an Australian size 9.5, the shoes arrived as Euro size 41, which should have been fine. But they were really small, I just couldn't get my foot in them. Also I ordered a beige and a black, but they sent me 2 x beige. They offered me a 20% refund or the ability to buy a different pair for 80% off... so I tried to get the next size up but they sent me the same size again. Then required me to send the shoes back to get a refund, but at my cost... which was going to be about the same as the potential refund as I needed to post them to the UK. Got a 20% refund but on the last order only... don't buy these!!

Count the one star as a ZERO. $89 buy one get one free is a racket. Shoes were cheaply made and NOT for wide feet. Actually more narrow than a medium dress pump shoe. AVOID this product.

The shoes are advertised to be wide. They are very narrow, at least an inch narrower than a wide shoe. The website said that emails to customer service are answered with 48 hours. I requested a return label for these shoes 2 weeks ago and have not heard from them.

I bought these shoes to try if they would fit with the AFO Brace I need to walk independently. Unfortunately they are two shallow for the brace to fit. Contacted the company to return in perfect condition and return policy is very deceiving. Return is not free and when I went to the Post Office it would cost almost $60 to mail back. I explained that I am a 68 year old woman, handicapped from a life threatening illness and living on Social Security and Pension, and they didn’t care. Very disappointed!

My experience mirrors those of other reviewers. Got sucked in by the bogo $89 pitch. They of course took my money very efficiently, then sent the shoes in a plastic bag mailer without a box to protect them. Took forever to arrive. The size was either an Asian or European size, but certainly not the 8 1/2US I ordered. Was given the UK address for returns. UPS told me it would cost about $400 to return the package by them, a few dollars less with USPS, and maybe as little as $200 with DHL except that the closest DHL facility is over 300 miles away. Along the way, I learned that these crooks have US offices in NYC and Chicago. The NY phone number is 845-478-1140. I plan to call regularly. Indeed, we all should call regularly. Reporting them to the FTC is also a good idea.

I ordered the Elora Comfort Flat. Not particularly wide and cheaply made. But worse than that is that the "Fast, Easy" return policy entailed three emails asking for more details about why I wanted to return the shoes and then offering an 80% discount on my next purchase with no need to return the shoes. But I didn't want another product from Widestep no matter how steep the discount.
Then came the news that the return address is in the United Kingdom and shipping costs were my responsibility.
NOWHERE is the location of the company shown on the website.
Don't order unless you are ready to keep the product no matter the fit or quality or your satisfaction with it.
And the quality isn't anything to write home about.

Wow, that was a mistake. Ok, so I thought I would try the shoes. Here’s the thing… their claims are bogus. These are seriously the worst shoes I have ever owned. And the cost to return them to the UK is prohibitive.
Do NOT buy these, they are truely awful. It’s my own fault for not researching properly. Lesson learned.

just received my order and wrong size and the shoes are cheap and wont last long at all

now they say to get a refund I must return them to the UK prepaid ??

Zero would be more accurate. Did already rate but since then tried to return for shipping to cost $50 to UK and since 1/7 now getting charged import tax $100. Those costs would be greater than the purchase cost that didn’t show it was US dollars initially. Had no choice but to wear the loss and keep the shoes. Doubt I’ll ever be able to wear them.

I was also scammed by Widesteps. Just like so many here, I fell for the marketing. Purchased in Australia and charged unexpectedly in USD which increased the price by approximately 30%. No way to contact the company. Shoes arrived in plastic bags without updates or enclosures. Emails not responded to. Finally given the runaround with the 80% off next purchase, or if pressed a return address in UK. Will be advising Facebook and my local consumer protection agency to warn others.

I would give Widestep a zero if I could. I ordered Elora shoes that were advertised as wide-fitting. When they arrived, they were incredibly narrow. The liners that were sent with the shoes don't even fit inside the shoes. I tried to negotiate a return and refund, but the company offered me a 30% refund, and they would allow me to keep the shoes. I refused that offer. They then responded, saying I could return the shoes to a UK address, but the cost of the return would be more than the cost of the shoes. I lodged a dispute with PayPal, believing I had some protection, but they use AI to analyse the dispute and they ruled in favour of the seller. I am now US$89 out of pocket. I'm very disappointed in PayPal too. There is no way to challenge the decision.

The shoes are NOT wide!! They will let you return them but you have to pay to ship them to their warehouse in the UK! The cost is way more than the refund!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL

I ordered a size 10 shoe during the Wide Step promo buy one get one free. The shoes I received were smaller than the size 10 I normally wear. They were narrow in steady of extra wide as stated in their advertisements. Quality Is poor. When I contacted them for return they said I would need to return the shoes to an international address which was going to cost a large portion of what I paid for the shoes. And my refund would not come for weeks, if at all.

I ordered shoes from Widestep. They were Elora Comfort Flat. When I tried to put them on, I realized they were very narrow, & didn't fit. I contacted the Customer Service about returning them, & was sent instruction to mail them to England ($40 postage) with no assurance that I would get a refund. No mention of this is in their return instructions.

This is a ZERO star review. Shoes are too narrow, not at all as advertised. Returns do not go to the US. The customer pays for the returns. Their website does not tell you returns are outside of the US.
DO NOT BUY FROM WideStep unless you have money to throw away.

This is definitely a BUYER BEWARE company! The shoes received were way too long and also too wide (not dinging them on the width since I ordered them wide) but they were so oversized they were unwearable. When I notified the company my desire to return them, I immediately received a “deal” with a discount on another order. Ultimately, their return policy for a refund requires the customer paying the shipping to their United Kingdom warehouse even though my label shows the shoes were mailed in the US. The shipping was going to cost over $40! I am donating the shoes as it is outrageous my refund would be less $40. The only positive is I received prompt responses to my emails, however customer satisfaction is not a priority with the return policy currently in place.

I find these shoes very comfortable and fit is right on. I wear a size 6 and 1/2 and in some of these shoes I can't get it . I will admit I do not have a very wide foot but I wanted more comfort in the toe box and these are perfect for me. If I had a super wide foot they probably wouldn't have been so comfortable. So if your foot is looking for wider Com fort from a regular toe shoe then These are perfect. But if you need super wide I'm not sure if they will fit. For me I bought two pairs and going to go back for two more in different colors

I would give a zero if it were possible! My shoes arrived and both pairs (different sizes) were too small (not as long as traditional sizes), so I immediately emailed back, per the return policy. They never responded. After the third try, I am resorting to this. What a waste of money!

One star only because zero or negative stars was not an option. The website and ads are totally misleading. Shoes do not have a wide toe box. It's actually narrow. They're cheaply made and run much smaller than stated size. They advertise 100% guarantee and full refund. They don't tell you that you need to ship them to England to return them, which would cost far more than the shoe purchase. Do not buy from this company!
