If I could give zero. Shame on me for believing this ad for wider shoes. Took 4 weeks to get then the do not fit and they want me to pay for return to England. The did offer 80 percent off my.next pair. Why wud I buy another pair from them. Very bad. Wint deal with them again.

I purchased a pair of WideStep shoes after seeing their ads multiple times claiming to, in fact, be wider than the average shoe. They are NOT any wider than a normal shoe. The claim is a lie. It's not misleading, it is false. I ordered a size 11.5, but they sent an 11. If a shoe is wide, an 11 can work for me, but these did not fit at all.

When I complained, they offered me an 80% discount on another pair of shoes. I asked them, "If your shoes don't fit, why would I buy another pair, even at a significant discount?" I'm not sure about their logic. Then came the kicker: if I wanted a refund of my $89, I would have to first ship the shoes back. Shipping to the UK from Washington State would cost over $20. Interestingly, if I were willing to buy a new pair for the 80% discount, they didn't need me to send back the ones that didn't fit. Something is definitely fishy with this company. Steer clear!

One star is the least I could choose. The worst shoe, the worst company, the worst return policy. These shoes are the most narrow shoes in my house. The return costs anywhere from $94 through the post office to $389.through UPS. Despite multiple emails back-and-forth, this company will not acknowledge that they sent the wrong size, that the shoes are very narrow, not 40% wider as they claim. They actually offered me 80% off on another pair of shoes! Save yourself the headache and the $90. Do not buy from this terrible company.

I ordered 2 pairs of their shoes on sale and it took me forever to get them DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. They are liars, frauds and a scam. They say you can return within 60 days thats wrong they only give 30. It takes them forever to reply to your emails for authorization and then they want to give a deal. The return address is UK and cost $50.00 to return plus customs.

These products are truly crap. I measured my foot and ordered my size, which came exactly as long as my bare foot. I attempted to return them for a refund and was told the address is in England and I had to pay shipping, but that they would give me an $80 credit toward more shoes. I stupidly ordered a bigger size.
Surprise - they don't fit either! Sending all 4 pair to the Thrift Shop.

The name is deceptive, as they are certainly not wide. For an example of how a wide shoe is made, and of a company which has ethical business practices, I suggested that they go Hike shoes.
I will me looking at TrustPilot first in the future.

I purchased the Widestep Shoes as they were advertised as having a wide toe box. I followed their instructions so as to have accurate sizing. As soon as I received them, I knew they were NOT wide in the toe box. I could barely get my foot in the shoe and it was very tight I contacted the company and they offered a 80% discount on my next purchase instead of shipping them back. The address they gave for returns is in England even though they were shipped from an address in the US. It would have cost more than the cost of the purchased shoes to send them with a tracking number as they required. What a marketing ploy! False advertising for sure. Stay far away from this company who uses deceptive tactics.

I bought a half size larger (9.5) in the shoe and when it arrived, it was shorter than a regular American 9.0. Company says it will provide a full refund for shoes that don't fit, BUT ALL they offered was $17.80 on an $89.00 purchase. They told me NOT to ship the shoes back. Do not buy from them.

I've spent $80 on these shoes and what I got was narrow generic shoes that were horrible! I could have bought these on Amazon for $15. They were not wide on my feet just like they don't fit anybody else's feet who's ordering a wide step shoe.
The refund is a joke they offered me a 20% refund and they said I could send it back but you have to send it back to the UK which is going to cost about $35 minimum It's an absolute scam do not buy from them
Any positive comments or reviews they had were bots or planted.

A tricky seller and dishonest in a way.
The shoes are very cheap quality material and not true to size. The return policies favor the company and the cost to return to the UK is expensive even though the return address on the package is CA. I was careless and did not read the reviews before I purchased these awful shoes. Thay are also shorter for the size.

I was so disappointed with my first 2 pair special order, they are NOT wide step (toe) but because I really wanted what they show in their advert, I stupidly ordered another 2pairs special. I emailed telling them that I will keep the first order but this time I want the ones with roomy toe space, they replied that I will certainly receive those this time around. NO, I received the same overpriced rubbish. Paid approximately $260 in total for 4 pairs of shoes when I was expecting it to be $180 total but they're cheap shoes only worth around $20 a pair. Really wish I looked up reviews first. I want to give them ZERO stars 👎

Buyer Beware! I purchased a size 10 of the loafers. They were more like a size 8. Their claim of a wide toe box is false. These shoes are very narrow. Their claim of 30 day guarantee with no hassle returns is also false. In order to return them for a full refund I would have to spend double what I paid to ship them to the UK.

I wish I’d found these reviews before I ordered. Like other reviewers state, the shoes came in too narrow and too small. I was offered a discount coupon to keep them, which seems ironic for a company about foot comfort. And then to find out that instead of returning to New York, I’ve got to send them to England? They are so precise up front about having the customer pay to return the shoes. They could have added that they will need to be shipped to England.

If I could give them a zero, I would!
These shoes are not as advertised. They don’t even have the wide step logo on them anywhere.. let’s not talk about how they don’t look like the shoes or how they don’t have wide toes or how if you need to return them it’ll cost you more than the shoes.

The toe box is so narrow I couldn’t even get them on. A waste of my time and money. I’m never falling for that false advertising.

Not the least bit wide and no where near an accurate size. Unfortunately I tossed out the packaging and can't return. Definitely do not recommend purchasing anything from them. I can't even put my foot in the toe area.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY I purchased 4 pair of shoes from wide step only 1 pair fit. One pair they sent the wrong size. The 2 other pair were way too small. These shoes are also very cheaply made. I emailed them stating I wanted to return 3 pair . Like with everyone else I was offered 80% off my next purchased and I keep the shoes that don't not fit. They also said they don't pay for return shipping .I emailed them photo of their return policy that stated free returns. I asked for replacement of the 1 pair that they sent the wrong size and they agreed to do that but then they don't have my correct size. I could select something different. I have been emailing back and forth with them for 2 months anything I ask for they don't have my size. Today I said I would like a refund and they said they got permission to offer me a 20% refund and I keep the shoes that don't fit. I decided to look up reviews on this company and ended up here. It sounds like if I want any of my money back I better take the 20%.

I was so excited to try on my new shoes. I open the bag. The smell was strong and chemical. I pulled the shoes out and the looked tacky. I tried them on. Yikes, they were tight. The right was a little tight but the left one was unbearable. Both pairs in the pack we unwearable. The oh so easy return policy is bunk. When the finally tell you how to return it you are directed to send it to the UK. The business address address is New York. It’s outrageous,
Bottom line: don’t buy!

I was so impressed with the advertising for the widestep shoes and having a narrow heel, but needing the width in the front decided that these had to be perfect. But they aren’t - there is inconsistency the way each pair of shoes fits and I wrote emails as well as left messages and have not received one answer from their customer service. I even took a picture of her raw. My toes were after wearing one pair. I even said I would not write a review if they contacted me, but they did not. I am totally disgusted and sorry that I brought so many of the shoes. Actually in every color. The Better Business Bureau should look into their false advertising.

DO NOT BUY THESE SHOES!!!!!!!!! My Mom ordered some for a wedding and was unable to get her feet into them. We tried to return them and it would cost us $200.00 to send back. They DO NOT honor their return policy and now we have 2 pairs of shoes that are useless. The website says 60 day return policy but it is not honored. It’s been one week since she received them.

Crappy shoes, not wide at all. Total scam!! DO NOT BUY! If you want to return, you pay postage to UK which is very high. Not the kind of experience you expect. That’s what happens when you fall for a Facebook Advert.
