No free refunds if they don’t fit. They are NOT wide in the Mary Jane’s. Their sneakers are a wide fit but the Mary Jane’s are not even a normal width.
Even worse is that although they advertise free refunds you have to pay for shipping.

First of all, the shoes are more than half an inch shorter than what their size indicates. The toe box is wide, but the shoe is at least half a size too short. I sent them a sole-to-sole snapshot of their size vs the right size using one of my own shoes to prove their incorrect sizing. When I requested a return, the company sent me an email”offer” to keep the small shoes but buy more shoes at an 80% discount. This is clearly a marketing ploy to sell more products and reflects deceptive advertising. I have no need for these wrong size shoes, I need the size that fits my feet. When I declined their “offer,” they sent me an address in the UK to return them to. Shipping from the U.S. will cost me as much as I paid for their incorrectly sized shoes in the first place. The shoes I received were shipped from a local warehouse, just a few miles from where I live, but I was not allowed to return them there. This company needs to be sued for deceptive advertising.

Shoes did not fit, emailed Widestep twice before I got a reply. They at first offered me 80% off my next purchase if I kept the shoes. I responded that the shoes do not fit so why would I want to keep them? They finally sent me the address to send the shoes for the return. The address was in the United Kingdom. Went to the post office to ship the shoes back, there were custom forms to complete and then the costs were revealed. To send the shoes back under the cheapest options was just under $60! The two pair of shoes cost $80. I still have the shoes.
The shoes did not fit, the wide toe box was not wide enough and the length was way off, they obviously don’t use a standard US shoe size. The shoes themselves were cheap looking and felt cheap. Stay away from these shoes!

This business is a SCAM!!! I ordered shoes 4 weeks ago and the tracking number is totally bogus. I see many other reviews that say the same thing. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!

The shoes were too narrow and the return address is in the UK! Cost way more to return than the purchase price! They are a scam!

ABSOLUTE SCAM - BEWARE !!!! Don't buy any shoes from them. They are thieves....

I ordered two pair because they were so cute and advertised as wide fit. Well they are not. So I contacted the company to return them and they offered me a 70% off coupon to shop for more shoes instead. I just wanted my refund for the ones that did not fit. So then they sent ma an address for the UK to return the shoes. It will cost me more money than if I just take the loss. The company has a New York address. The address in the UK does not even show up as a company.

They offer a refund - but the address in the UK they give you does not exist (tried to confirm it on Goggle Maps) and the address on their website in New York is an art supply shop.
Great wording on their website and smart to advertise a USA address but it is all a lie. You will pay the postage to return the product to the UK, but as the address does not exist you will have the product returned and then silence from WideStep and never receive your refund.

ordered shoes. received shoes. They do not meet the described product. I contacted company for a return label for a 30 day refund as promised. i have received a discount for future order but why would I want to place another order for product that doesn't meet quality standards. They then stated that I could them at my cost to the united kingdom. FRAUD! FRAUD! FRAUD!

If I could give it ZERO stars I would. First of all...their "Size chart" is NOT accurate. I measured my feet, ordered the right size according to their information, and the shoes were 1. narrow and 2. at least two sizes too small. I have been trying to return them since. I have sent 3 emails, left 3 voicemails, and tried to contact them from their "contact us" page. NOTHING. It has been almost four weeks. I have no address or information on how to return the shoes. DO NOT BUY A THING FROM THIS COMPANY.

Do not buy these shoes! Unfortunately I did and regret it. The 2 pairs of shoes have a foul odor which makes me sick. I have emailed back and forth numerous times to get instructions for returns and refunds. According to their website, 100% customer satisfaction if the product is defective. The extreme odor of the shoes makes them unwearable, (definite defect)but they have refused to provide free return shipping. So far all that has been offered is a partial refund and I can keep the shoes. Why would I do that? Most thrift stores would refuse this donation. I was definitely scammed BIG TIME and feel used. Time will tell if I ever get any money refunded.

I ordered 3 pairs of shoes online. Two pairs were narrow width - couldn't even get my feet in them. The other pair was also way too narrow. The company requires getting an authorization from them to initiate the process for a refund. I have made 3 requests. Now they are offering me $80 credit for a new order of their crappy shoes, which is of no value to me.

This is a terrible company!! I didn't even want to give them 1 star but it wouldn't take without a star. First of all, they advertise their shoes as Wide, they are NOT in the least bit wide. Second, they ship them to you in a BAG, not a box. They came all smashed and crumpled and not very pliable. Third, if you want to return them it will cost you over $300 if you live in the US because you're shipping them back to the UK!!!! So, I just got scammed out of $89. I'll be donating them.

My goodness, I'm so glad that I read the reviews before ordering the $89 buy 1, get 1 free offer. I did think it was odd that they did not state where the order could be returned but, like many others, assumed it was within the US with the cost to the customer . I can just imagine the cost to return 2 pairs to the UK (someone stated $140 in a review). I feel as though I dodged a bullet!!!

These are advertised as wide shoes but are narrower than even regular shoes. The sizing is also off. They are shorter than regularly sized shoes. Giving 2 stars because I actually received the shoes they just weren't what I thought I would be getting.

I received two pair of widestep shoes. They are too small. So narrow I can hardly get my foot in them. The toe box is more narrow than regular shoes. I want to return them but I have no idea how to do that

buyer be aware. if the shoes do not fit you will be responsible to ship to the United Kingdom at your expense. Satisfaction is not guaranteed. They offered to refund 20% of my $89 purchase price. The shoe was very narrow and smelled like diesel fuel. So very disappointed and feel scammed by this company. I ordered May 11 and they were shipped from China and received June 1.

This should be a zero. I ordered two pair of “wide step” shoes because they claimed to be designed for people with a longer second toe.
Not only were they not wide, but the toe box were so short that my second toe was pushed back.
I returned them according to their instructions and now they have my shoes and my money. They are refusing to refund me claiming they still don’t have my shoes.
Since they are in Ireland I have no recourse and am out a lot of money.

STAY AWAY. This company fails on every level. Shipping is slow. Quality is non-existent. Customer service is a gaslighting smile-and-nod. The price is okay if you do not love yourself and do not care about your feet, as everyone should. If you have to order from them, review the sizing chart because you have to select a size much higher than you usually do, and you may get the wrong size. Then it will take forever anyway. Customer service refused to pay shipping, as they should have, since the size was wrong. I could not recommend this company less.

The initial thought I had when I saw the fact they cater to wider feet was I would be able to order shoes in a more realistic size, meaning not having to compensate for my wide feet by getting a larger size. I placed my order, then found out they ship from China (strike 1). They advertise they ship in 7 to 14 days, so when I didn't see my product yet, I reached out. It seems like their customer service is all AI, no live people (strike 2). They assured me my order was in transit. I finally got my order (1 day shy of 1 month later) and saw the shoes, which the toe box didn't look any different than other shoes I've purchased. When I tried them on, they were SUPER TIGHT and too small. When I reached out asking for an exchange to get my correct size (at first by calling the phone number on their website, only to hear a pre-recorded message saying you HAD to send an email), instead of offering that option they said they would give me an 80% off discount code to use. My original order was Buy 1 pair, Get 1 pair free and there was a free gift in addition. So when I went to place the order with the discount code, the Buy 1 Get 1 offer disappeared and I would have paid for the free gift. So I tried to have them correct this, and got no satisfaction (strike 3). I finally asked them to send me a shipping label so I could send them their products back and I would eat the initial cost of the order. They said I would have to pay for shipping, and gave me an address in the UK (to ship there would cost MORE than the cost of the order). They said to ship it to them and when they got it, they would refund me. I wasn't about to pay that amount for shipping, so asked them what would happen if I did NOT send them the items back. They said they would give a 30% refund, so that's what I did and I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY EVER AGAIN.

Do not buy these shoes! For a few reasons
They are not wide!
If you go to return them. It says free returns but you have to pay for the shipping to the Uk. You’re going to spend as much on returning as it was buying them. The ad looks like they are in NY they are not!!! Returns have to be sent to UK. When I emailed and complained. They gave me a 10% off. Still not close to what I payed but was better than the shipping cost to the UK! Now I stuck with 2 pairs of shoes I can’t wear. Might as well throw them and my money away

Shoes are too small and of poor quality. Cost to return them to England is $119….$40 more than the shoes. I am sorry I did not see these awful reviews before I ordered them. Such a scam site!
