I discovered Wonderbooks on Trustpilot and bought a year's subscription for my kids to teach them about children in other countries. Never expected it would make such an impact.

My daughter has been completely captivated by the stories and learning about kids in different circumstances. Some of her favourite books have been read at least 10-20 times each, and we still return to them. The quality and storytelling are exceptional.

Our subscription has ended but we're still proud to support the charity. We cannot recommend this service enough.

Our ask: Please consider launching more books! We would gladly pay more to get hold of more stories. You've created something truly special and I wish more people knew about this!

UPDATE: Really sad to read that they are shutting down - the books are wonderful and we still read them almost daily!! 🙁

Excellent stories which my daughter loves and wants to read. Great way for her to learn about other children's lives around the world.

Thank you for Wonderbooks. The books are well made and bright and colourful. They made both my son and I consider how strong and determined these children were to live and study in such difficult circumstances. We will continue to revisit these books over the next few years to ensure he gets the most out of the stories. Thank you and keep doing your great work.

We have loved receiving these books every month. They’ve really helped my Son understand how privileged we are, and helped us to learn about empathy with humility.

Lovely stories that my son really enjoys as he can relate to the children and asks lots of questions about where they live and how their lives are similar and different to his... The books are a great starting point for some really meaningful and rewarding conversations with my 5 year old, about the wider world around him

I found myself emotional when I read the first Wonderbook to my twins daughters. The stories are beautiful and the books are well made. It is so interesting ( for myself above all) all the related info that come with the book. This is an amazing idea, and thinking to help other children with it, has made my day. I have shared it with my friends to have more of them sold.

Such a fantastic experience of a book... my children (4 and 9) both enjoyed the story and we spoke about it afterwards. It feels like a really good thing to be broadening their worlds and knowledge of other children's experiences

Great books about children around the world which foster global empathy. My nephew loves them.

These books are a brilliant and a simple way of kick starting a conversation about those less fortunate than ourselves, those that live in different countries, those that live under different circumstances, those that don't have access to doctors, school etc. Started them when my daughter was 2.5 years old and now she's 5, she's asking so many more questions after we read them. Great!

These wonderful books have been a great resource in helping children understand and empathise with children who are less fortunate then themselves. The books also help children to learn about different cultures and backgrounds. I highly recommend these beautifully illustrated books to any family or school.

My 4 year-old son receives the Wonderbooks every month, and it literally makes his day every time he opens the letter box to find a new book! How wonderful to read them with him and answer his innocent questions about the lived experience of people from other countries. Every read sparks a new conversation about what poverty means, what diversity and inclusion looks like, how people live in other countries, what are their different cultures and social backgrounds. An eye opener for a child living in London! A wonderful project beautifully written and illustrated. Many congratulations and thank you again for offering our family the opportunity to explore the world in all its diversity throughout Wonderbooks.

Wonderbooks have been enjoyed greatly within our years 3-6 classes. The children have been really looking forward to the next story each month and have loved the great activities to go alongside these great books. Great resource, thank you!

Each book is so rich with detail and diverse characters - its a lovely thing to get in the post each month.

Our 4 year old daughter enjoyed all the books in the series. We found them quite useful in introducing different cultures and challenges to her.

The books have been really enjoyable to read with my children. They have prompted curious conversations and increased their knowledge of how other families live. The books are great quality and the correspondence from Wonderbooks has been consistent and informative

My four year old son really enjoyed recieving these books every month. He was really interested in learning about people from other cultures and their stories. A really nice way of broadening his horizons and a bit different from the usual children's stories. As he is only four a lot of the content still goes over his head but there is something in all of them which he is interested in and we can re-read these books again and again as he gets older and starts to understand more of the complexity of the stories.

My grand daughter who is 4 loves receiving these books and her mum commented that they are a good balance to other books that she reads where everything is perfect snd no bad things ever happen. Also making her more aware of the world outside the UK.
