Prompt answer from call handler, problem solved v quickly

Always helpful and the engineer was very helpful and showed how to operate the new alarm

The engineers are absolutely spot on, it’s just a shame that once you actually have to use the system or manage your account the apps they have provided are absolutely awful.

MyADT never loads, in almost 3 years I’ve successfully got past the loading wheel once. So I have to call every time I want to manage my account.

SmartServices to actually arm the system is ok, but again constantly goes down so frequently. It’s not what you want from a home security system, you want something you can rely on and it’s a surprise when it goes down not something that it’s normal when it doesn’t work.

If I wasn’t in a contract I’d have cancelled and moved elsewhere by now

Engineer messaged the day before to say what time he would arrive and asked about parking.
He arrived on time and explained what he was going to do. I couldn’t have the pet sensor the sales person had said I could have as we have a cat, which I had mentioned to the seller.Instead the engineer put a door sensor on the back door.
He gave me options as to where he could put the cameras to give the most view of my property.
He took out my old alarm system and took all the old system away. Friendly and polite.

He has done a fantastic job, but the way he carried himself throughout, clearly explained everything and generally ensured we were happy with everything is a credit to him and has made me delighted I chose ADT. I was already happy based on their sales teams conversation with us, and this experience has only enhanced my views on ADT.

Excellent service from George Robinson, ADT Engineer. George was extremely professional, courteous and helpful throughout the alarm installation. He was clearly very knowledgeable, worked methodically and took great care to ensure everything was installed correctly and to an exceptionally high standard.

His attention to detail was outstanding, and he left everything clean and tidy once the work was completed. George is a real credit to ADT and a great example of how a professional service should be delivered.

I would highly recommend George without hesitation. If you’re lucky enough to have George carry out your installation, you can be confident you’re in safe, professional and capable hands. First-class service from start to finish.

Really happy with our new alarm system. It was fitted quickly and tidily. How it works was explained basicly.

Excellent engineer and work done very promptly . I am still unsure about some features and regret asking at the appointment . To date it is still not functional but I will contact your team for help.

Responded to my questions with clarity

It was great to meet Matthew Woodall again. He was very efficient and pleasant as usual and contacted me two days before and earlier on the day he came to do our annual service - this was very helpful as I knew when he would arrive and could plan my day around it. He told me about some additional features of our system and gave me food for thought about some enhancements we could make. An excellent experience.

Professional, engaging - you clearly stated what you were going to do and you did below the price and at the time you advised.

Had work done on home internet set up. Informed ADT in advance so that system could be put into ‘test’ mode. They were very helpful and once the new router was set up a single call to them to amend our details was straightforward and quick. Very happy with their customer technical support.

As always I cannot fault the work or helpfulness of the engineers. They are great at what they do and so very helpful. For them alone I would give 5 stars. Sadly, the rest of the service from ADT is somewhat lacking and would get 1 star from me, so I’ve gone in between with the rating. There was no urgency in customer service when I tried multiple times to contact them when our alarm just stopped working and wouldn’t arm. No effort to contact us as 2G signal customers to organise the essential upgrade but instead simply waited for our alarm to stop working. Mixed messages from sales. It entirely depends on who you speak to. One salesman said the essential upgrade necessary to get my system working again would cost me at least £108 and offered higher priced options too without explaining what I actually get for any of those prices. He told me my monthly payment wouldn’t change. But the next salesman I spoke to assured me that the upgrade is free because it is essential work for my alarm to be operational and that my monthly payment would be reduced by £9 per month . I got the upgrade for free and the reduced contract price but only because I phoned back to question the ethics. The engineer offered fantastic customer service. However, I reserve full judgement until I receive the two refunds I have been promised. One is for a month I had paid for in advance on the old contract and one is a month’s refund as a ‘goodwill’ gesture because I complained about the atrocious customer service when I was left without a working alarm for a month. We will see how long it takes…
