We've been using Air IT for a number of years now and have a great relationship with them. During this time they've overhauled our entire network which was piecemeal and outdated, and brought us into the 21st century and future-proofed us where possible.

Air IT has consistently demonstrated a hard-working and methodical approach to their services. As the main Managed Service Provider (MSP) for Inspired Villages Group (IVG) over the past few years, they have been instrumental in supporting our growth and operational efficiency. Their recent assistance in establishing a call centre for IVG is a testament to their ability to handle highly complicated projects within tight deadlines. The team at Air IT is not only fantastic and hardworking but also incredibly supportive, playing a crucial role in enhancing IVG's capabilities. We are undoubtedly in a much better place thanks to their invaluable help and support.

I’ve been asked to share my honest feedback about 15 months of being an AirIT customer for my business, Mercian Labels, of which I am MD and the contract manager for our MSP contract. We are a 55 person 24/5 SME manufacturing business in Staffordshire. I’ve managed IT via in house and outsourced resources for over a decade, using 3 different MSPs on multi year contracts.

AirIT are an excellent MSP, and the best we have worked with. Their service levels are high, and they are fair and proportionate in allocating resources, operating with transparency and diligence. The level of 1st line engineer knowledge is very good, and more like 2nd line. The 2nd and 3rd line is very good as well, but rarely needed in my experience. Projects wise, I’ve had some excellent work done, but got unlikely with 1 project where , with the benefit of hindsight (and who doesn’t enjoy that in business!), we should have asked for a more experienced engineer to do the initial config, but you live and learn, and eventually the project completed to an excellent standard, even if it did take longer than expected. And here’s the crux, in B2B IT support, noting is ever 100% perfect form any supply partner,; what matters is what you do when something goes wrong, what commitment there is to suck up the professional pride and cost of fixing a mistake, and doing the right thing by the customer. And in this respect, AirIT took it on the chin as part of onboarding and did the right thing, so that we have absolutely excellent IT now. Jonathan is an excellent account Manager, and Barry the helpdesk Manager is responsive and also looks for continual improvement opportunities as we do at Mercian.

Billing is also fair and accurate, and now Right First Time, every time, which is rare. I haven’t had to query any invoice for 9 months ish now since onboarding was done, again an important part of the partnership.

The AirSec security team is pretty good from what I’ve seen when doing CE+ with them twice now, and having a decent security team in house is always a bonus. Similarly they have a good 24/7/365 support function for critical OOO issues which I used a couple of times last year, and that worked perfectly every time but one, when the response was a little slow, but we got there before the start of the working day, and to be fair, again they learned from it, improved and changed their system.

Overall, I’d fully recommended them, you can do far, far worse in choosing a reliable IT partner!

After a relatively long onboarding meeting, and a detailed outline of our tech set up and requirements AirIT sent us a proposal and suggested fee.

I responded with a couple of straightforward questions in connection to a larger scope of work.

After a few weeks passed by had to chase them two or three times to get a response.

Today following a further chase they wrote back saying "we are going to have to withdraw ourselves from consideration in this instance. I have been informed we will no longer be able to take on companies of your size ..."

What a bunch of comedians.

And time wasters too.

Based on their TP score and other recent reviews looks like we dodged a bullet.

‘Your call can’t be completed at this time. Please hang up and try your call again.’ That’s the message I got every time I rung the accounts department of this chaotic company, when they had already ignored my emails. I was a long-standing client of Netstar, a super London based IT company which was acquired by Air IT who also took over the management of my Reflections mail scanning system. At the beginning of March 2023, I was notified by Sophos that their Reflections package had reached ‘end of life’ and would be terminated at the end of the month. This had been known for a year, but no warning was sent out or solution offered by Air IT who were being paid by me to supply it. To my amazement a project management team of multiple contacts was assigned to replace my tiny software service and tickets and messages accumulated as the days ticked by. However, to be blunt they simply abandoned me and my dying system, with no solution or any contact with days to spare, and I was forced to find an alternative supplier as a matter of urgency. Then mysteriously there was some unexplained accounting activity from Air IT in December 2023, which I sought unsuccessfully to clarify by email or phone – see my opening lines.
I fully respect the 5-star feedback from others on here but speaking from my direct experience of IT support companies as a consultant and an Air IT customer, which goes back some decades, I conclude that Air IT far from being a company to be recommended, are perhaps best avoided.

Too late now for any resolution or satisfaction as all systems and support transferred to new supplier with days to spare before my spam filter terminated. Accounts situation is still a mystery but hopefully no more invoices will be raised. My feelings about this company remain the same.

Latest on this issue is an invoice from Air It received today 21st August showing a credit balance which has still not been paid into my account despite requesting this in May. Ending a relationship with this company is like trying to get chewing gum off your shoe.
