In reality I'd give <100 ⭐️ for my horrific customer service with Ally.
It's surreal they claim "award winning customer care is available 24/7 TO HELP WITH WHATEVER YOU NEED" 😂😂😂
That is absolute baloney! I CANNOT WAIT to be done with this crappy financial institution!

This is the best bank I've ever dealt with. The website is clear and easy to navigate. Mostly I'm delighted with the interest rates that are simply unavailable from brick and mortar banks.

Super user friendly interface and we love the savings buckets! They also don’t access unnecessary fees like the traditional banks.

Chatted with ALLY in reference to modifying my car loan. I have had my vehicle since 11/4/24 and I need a cheaper payment. Each time that I have inquired, the answer has been no. The payments are outrageous. The clause that that they post is "If you are having difficulties, reach out to us-we can help"-a huge lie. IThis is my first and last time dealing with ALLY finance.

I was trying to add cash to my account, which had gone negative. I went to a local Wal Mart to add cash, transaction was not allowed. I called in, and was told there was a "restriction" on my card and the only way to add cash was a bank transfer or check deposit. The agent was NOT helpful at all. It is completely unacceptable that I am trying to add cash to my account, but Ally is not letting me. I would give zero or even negative stars if I could. DO NOT sign up for or use Ally bank. Not worth it at all. Customer service is absolutely terrible.

Ally’s Money Market account has allowed my financial stability to grow tremendously. I never know how much earnings were out there just by placing your money in the right account. Banking with Ally has by far been one of the best financial decisions I’ve made. Thank you for being a great trusting partner.

I filed a dispute against Virginia federal credit union because they withdrew my mortgage payment twice this month. It was settled by Ally within 24 hours. Amazing!!

I'm sure that a lot of people are anxious about doing their banking not at a physical office. But if most of your transactions are not in cash Ally works very well. Interest bearing checking and savings (with very good rates), simple deposit methods (incuding using deposited money orders for cash) makes it worthy. In summary Ally is great if personal contact is not a priority.

Ally offers the best return for your money. The banking giants get all the returns from your investments and give you chicken feed. The only thing I don't care foe is that it's online only.

I was very happy with my Ally account setup. I liked being able to pay my Ally credit card with a transfer from my Ally checking account. Now that it has switched to Ollo I can no longer do that and have to manage two sites.

Ally bank is the absolute best thing we ever did. We have been trying to save for years and it’s now made it so easy and watching our savings account grow is amazing! It helps so much to have it all separate from our regular checking account so it’s not so tempting to spend it all! Never seen the likes with the amount of interest u get each month and the customer service is out of this world! We couldn’t get logged in one time so we contacted customer service and they told us exactly what the problem was. Not some foreign person we couldn’t understand! The whole thing feels to good to be true!!! A family member recommended ally bank and we couldn’t be more happier with it! Wish we would have started this years ago!!!! I have recommended it to all my family and friends!!

overall, I like the banking application set up goals in checking and savings The issue I have is you cannot add an authorize user i have tried 4 times following all requirements and still get told the same repeated requirement called their customer service did not get anywhere so I gave up. planning on closing my accounts
and going with SOFI or Capital one
