AW Bridal turned a terrible situation into an amazing experience. After getting a bridesmaids dress from another website that did not fit, I was able to order custom from AW---WITH POCKETS! The size inclusivity and ability to custom order for an affordable price put me at ease. The customer service was elite- timely professional correspondence to ensure my measurements were correct. I received my dress exactly 2 weeks after ordering it, and it fits like an absolute DREAM! The price also turned out to be less than what I paid for my original dress. For context I am 5'9" and typically wear a size 22/24.

I placed the order with expedited shipping 5 business days. Submitted the weeding date and the date needed by and no tailoring needed. It’s been over a week we called and they said every dress has to be tailored and it was going to arrive 5 days past the wedding. We canceled the order they were rude and argumentative. Now daughter is in tears. Have to find a dress. Don’t buy here

I could write a four page essay on how much I love this dress, followed with a research paper on how glad I am I found it. I am a plus-size budget bride with expensive taste, so you can only imagine how stressful it was to find a dress that ticked all the boxes. I went to four different stores to try on dresses. Even telling them my budget was 800-1,000 US dollars, every single place put me in dresses over 1,500$. I could not even appreciate the dress because I was just so distraught over the price tag. My fiancé and I are doing this wedding thing with no financial help from family. Spending over a grand on a dress for one day has never been in my plans. Then Low and behold, I find AW Bridal. This dress blew me away. It is the cheapest dress I have found online that fit my style, my wedding, and my body type. I also very much enjoyed not having to size up 4 sizes just because its a wedding dress. I am usually in a 1XL/2XL, 18/20 pants size. I ordered my dress in a size 18 with no custom measurements. It fit awesome. I am around 5'6, 250-ISH with a very pear shape. I think my last measurements were somewhere around B-44, W-42, H-54 (think big booty, iddy biddy tiddies) The Good: ~PRICE POINT ~Insanely well made. Very sturdy and thick fabric, makes for a pretty heavy dress. Came to me in the mail with no discolorations or snags in lace. ~The detail! This bold lace was exactly what I was looking for my boho wedding. ~Took about 1 month to get to me vs. ordering in boutique would've taken 3 months to come in ~Flattering A-line shape for the beeg gulls-does not hug your belly or cling to your tootsie rolls ~Amazing customer service. I knew I was going to alter the back and the CSR made sure that I was able to order extra lace so I would not have to mis-match the fabric. Also emailed to confirm my size. I did not do custom measurements because I knew I was getting it altered anyway. ~Cute clasp at the back of the neck hides my shoulder tat perfect <3 ~No "street size/wedding dress size" difference Things to Consider: ~The only "con" I would even mention outloud is just a fair warning to my fellow queen-size peeps: This open back is V E R Y open back. I mean the bottom keyhole is very nearly at the start of my butt crack, and it is very wide open at its widest point. If you have rolls, be aware your biscuits WILL be visible with no alterations. My plan is to keep the keyhole back but bring it up to where my bra strap would usually sit. I will update my review with pics when I get it back from my seamstress. All in all, I am a fan of AW for Life :) Thank you so much for making me feel beautiful without sending me into a financial tail spin!!!! This is your sign to order your dream dress from AW!!!!

Honestly speaking, the measurements of Size 4 (as on your website) are TRUE to my body right now with exception of Waist Size (27 1/2 as on your website) is currently just a little bit snug for me BUT....I do NOT need to have "custom" measurement for the Waist because I know my body and once it is 2-3 months away from wedding date, I will be "stressed" and always lose little weight 🤣
The Size 4 Waist (as on your website) will be just right by the time of June 2025 wedding date 😊 I am confident of the Size 4 measurements. I am just being very honest here...it is difficult to choose clothing online when you cannot try on immediately before purchase. I really, really LOVE the style of this dress AND read all your reviews in detail. This is why I have chosen YOU as my FIRST dress choice for my daughter's wedding.

The reason for the 1 star and being generous as they deserve zero stars; is due to the way the bridesmaids dresses are done. To start on their website the dresses look beautiful but when you receive the dresses it’s completely different, if the dress has a zipper in the back it looks like you have tail therefore you need to go to a seamstress to have that fix which cost additional. In addition their sizing is completely off even when you customize per measurement so the entire dress has to get fixed which again incurs additional cost. The return policy is HORRIBLE since you have to pay for return shipping plus an additional restocking fee! Just the fact almost always you have to take the dress to a seamstress to fix the horrid sewing done on these dresses plus their horrid return policy defines me never purchasing any item from AW BRIDAL AGAIN! I purchased one dress through their measurements and one through their size charts and both dresses had to be altered which cost quite a bit to fix! NEVER AGAIN! I will ensure that I will let as many people know about all these online stores. Do yourself a favor go to a local bridal store it’s cheaper.

Excellent communication - they checked in before making the dress to ensure measurements were correct, the dress also arrived 2 days earlier than expected. Its made well and a great style. Im quite impressed! :)

Dress was great. Fit perfectly. Good price. Be aware duty fees will be billed later in addition ( it is in the shipping policy) but if like me you might not read those and this is something new since tariffs started up and now apply to items under $800 as well. Responsive to inquires in timely manner. They work with you to make any issues right.

After ordering a standard size (nothing custom!), delivery went smoothly and the dress seemed well made. That’s where it all went wrong - the measurements were over 5 inches out to what was ordered. What should be a simple return process for a clear error turned into the stuff of nightmares - pictures demanded (these weren’t then good enough!), and after 2 weeks of back and forth they eventually asked to return dress at my own cost to a US address (£15). A partial refund of 40% was offered to not go through this hassle. Just completely unacceptable on THEIR error. I recommend avoiding at all costs.

EDIT (3 weeks later): AW Bridal have now offered a higher (still partial) refund of £70 (around 65%) which I have accepted and amended from 1 to 2 stars (as am still out of pocket for the experience!).

A W Bridal's dresses are great, really beautiful and well-made. The service was speedy and always polite. I'm very happy with my dress.

Although it was custom but it was done less than 2 weeks and shipped to me less than a month. I was very pleased by the service. I will definitely recommend this site. The customer service was great! They helped me make sure my order was correct, and helped me with changing the shipping so easy! The dress came super fast and fit very well!

I am 8 months pregnant, and I was so anxious about this dress, but AW Bridal not only sent it on time (early), but they also took careful attention to the crafting so that it fits like a gem. I feel comfortable and confident to support my best friend on her big day, and I'm so thankful for AW Bridal and their craftsmanship to make it all possible! Impressed is an understatement. I also used them for my own wedding, and it’s been a win both times :)

Order the dress in advance because they want to confirm with you that you ordered the right size because it’s customer made. It came in right on time and it is beautiful!! It fit my daughter flawlessly. It’s her graduation party dress and took professional photos with it. It is beyond gorgeous. Aw bridal kept in touch via email and made sure I got it on time.

Ordered a wedding dress that was guaranteed to be delivered in 3 to 6 days and paid expedited shipping to ensure it shipped even faster. Two weeks later the dress had not been shipped and three weeks later the dress which was supposed to be shipped from LA, Calif was actually shipped from China. A month later still no dress! They lie on the phone and will bait you on!
DO NOT TRUST this CHINA company!

First dress ordered was lost in the mail. I messaged the company and they expedited another dress, free of charge! Excellent customer service and quick to respond to questions. Thank you again for all your help! Beautiful dress! It fit perfectly!

I was very impressed by the customer support at every step of the process ensuring everything was just right. I was worried about the top being too low cut and the team was happy to help with no extra cost. There were a few odd stitches in some places but overall I am very happy with my dress and AWBridal.
