Delivery problems
We live in a very remote area, which means that we regularly have delivery problems. But once I contacted them as my delivery was late they were excellent and couldn't do enough to sort out where my vinyl flooring actually was. Also, refunded my delivery costs without being asked, which is rare these days. I will definitely use them again. Thank you

Greedy returns policy!!
Wanted to return a cut piece of vinyl flooring as no longer required but told me to pay shipping costs as well as deducting 25% from my original payment!!! What a joke!!
No warning of this at the payment stage but when I phoned I was told my fault for not reading the full returns policy before I purchased!

We are sorry to hear that you are disappointed with the returns policy. Sheet vinyl is cut to your required size which means that the flooring is bespoke to your room. Everyone's rooms are different sizes and tastes vary therefore once your item has been returned there is no guarantees that we will be able to resell the flooring. The flooring is also likely to be relisted as a remnant which is normally priced at a reduced cost due to the flooring being handled.
When placing the order before you make any payment it asks to confirm that you have read, understand and accept the terms and conditions of the sale. Details of the returns policy and other information you may need to be aware of is all explained in the terms. By placing the order and ticking the box to say you have read the terms this is you confirming that you accept the terms of sale including the returns procedure.
The charge from the courier will vary dependent on which one you use and the size of your order. We are unable to refund any returns that are received damaged. By arranging your own courier this ensures that you are covered by insurance if the order is damaged during transit. We recommend Transglobal Express to arrange your return. This is a courier comparison site and return costs are very competitive
The prices that you see online are already including VAT. When you place the order there is a breakdown of the flooring showing you what the VAT cost is but this is already included when you choose the sizes online.
Again we are sorry that you feel that this wasn't clear when placing your order and your comments on how to improve our services have been escalated.

Avoid!
Ordered a vinyl floor for next day delivery, then told it would be delivered on a date the following week because it needs a two man team, fine…. Then doesn’t turn up, to then be told I need to confirm I want the delivery?!?! I ordered it so of course I want it. Paid for next day delivery for the 22nd May, will now arrive 3rd June….
Customer service were very sarcastic and condescending and when I returned the same tone they got defensive. Maybe treat others how you expect to be treated?
Will not be using this company again.
Oh and I already know they will respond to this pushing all the blame onto me as they have done to all the other customers with bad experiences, they never take any blame themselves. I would suggest they try phoning customers in future if they need additional info (every other order I make with other company’s don’t need additional delivery info)
Won’t be surprised if it doesn’t turn up on the 3rd of June.

The delivery dates displayed when placing the order is a delivery from date and not a guaranteed delivery date. This is due to reasons such as courier delays or other unexpected issues. Details of which are in the terms and conditions that you agreed to when placing the order. The system also provides this date from a stock perspective not the size of the order. Couriers have a limit on what can be transported by an individual driver and size above a certain length would need 2 drivers to perform the delivery.
The order was placed during closing hours, upon opening the next day an email was sent advising that a 2 man delivery would need to be booked in due to the size and wait. In the email you were advised of this and that this service is not offered daily and Tuesday, may 27th was the next available date This date is subject to change depending on how long it is until we receive a confirmation from yourself and was asked if you were still okay to proceed. We did not receive a response therefore was unable to book the delivery.
We are an online service which means that all updates and communication is provided via the email address you register with. The customer service line is for incoming enquiries which is offered as an extra service which is not always offered by most online companies. This is to assist people with any questions or help they may need and ask you to contact deliveries@best4flooring.co.uk for any delivery enquiries.
I have listened to the call. The customer service adviser provided you with the information as to why the flooring hadn't been delivered on your desired delivery date, apologised and said that they would refund the additional £4.95 that you paid to have your delivery earlier. They were then asked why it wasn't just sent out. The sales advisor is very clear and concise and advised that due to the size of the order we need to confirm the delivery date to ensure someone was available to take delivery or if requirements have changed. As we did not receive confirmation the delivery date would be okay the order wasn't sent. Upon advising this the advisor was verbally abused. It is company policy for anyone receiving verbal abuse to end the call. You were informed of this and told that all future correspondence would be by email.
I have checked your tracking details and can see that the order has been delivered at 10:40 this morning 3rd June

Good service
Samples arrived quickly and I was able to decide what I wanted. I ordered online and although it had a letter with the samples giving a discount code, the site said it wasn't valid. It would have saved me £2.50, but wasn't a deal breaker. Product arrived on the my chosen day and in perfect condition.
