Terrible Experience – Damaged My Car and No Compensation

I took my car to this garage to fix a low turbo boost issue under an RAC warranty. Instead of resolving the problem, they completely damaged the vehicle's wiring. After informing me that they couldn't fix it, I had no choice but to take my car to a Hyundai dealership.

Hyundai diagnosed the issue as a broken ECU wiring connector caused by the garage, and I had to pay £5,000 to restore the car to its original condition. Despite filing a complaint, the garage refused to take any responsibility or offer compensation.

I would strongly advise against using this service center. The lack of accountability and professionalism has been extremely frustrating. I would never recommend them to anyone.

Just had my car Mot at binnley wood service centre .
They were great did car as I waited …. And offer free pick up and drop off for servicing … I will be using again … check them out guys … make your life a breeze

Staff were friendly and helpful…only in for a puncture and dropped in on the off chance to see if they could squeeze me in for a repair, which they did, had to wait a while but this was understandable, reasonable cost at the end too.

I booked with Service stop who used this garage to do a full service and an MOT. Do not know how compliant this garage is in the scamming but was told by Service Stop that I needed my brakes changed. Luckily I refused and brakes were not even an advisory on the MOT. What makes me unhappy with the garage is that when they brought my car back the tyre pressure warning light was on and I found that all tyres had been inflated to 38PSI which was far more than they should have been I emailed them but did not have the courtesy of a reply.

Booked car in for my rear brake pads to be replaced.
When the car was handed back to me the dashboard was showing an error message saying “check brake pads” the service guy took the car back and after an hour issue still wasn’t resolved.
The mechanic in the end said he couldn’t clear the error message and said take it to the main dealer.
I mean come on Binley you’re better than this.

Went for MOT was super quick and really professional lovely staff

I booked online and got an appointment for a MOT for the next business day. The appointment had been scheduled for their Foleshill centre, but when I arrived they weren't ready to be open for business for another few weeks. The team were great though and sent me over to the Binley centre and MOT was completed quickly and for a great price. Despite the location hiccup I'd be happy to book again.

Amazing service, professional and very helpful. Definitely recommend and will use again!

Simply put: DO NOT USE THIS GARAGE.

I've waited weeks to write this review, but after having my complaint by the RAC answered and they agreed that the garage had ripped me off.
I thought I would write this review to hopefully prevent others using them.

The garage estimated the cost of the repair for the cambelt to be £1000s before even looking at it. A claim was submitted to RAC who approved the repair at £497, the garage made the fix without my authorisation and called me 3 weeks after I had dropped the car in, saying it was fixed. I was elated to finally have my car back, however 'Dell' the manipulative manager who mansplanned everything to me told me there was a shortfall of £293! As a part-time working mum this isn't cash I have spare!

Dell argued that even if I had knew this cost before, I would have had to pay for it as the car was stripped. But how dare he make decisions on my behalf, he offered me a 6 month payment plan but there was no budge on the cost!

I was stuck: carless, cashless and no remorse was shown from Binley Woods.

Luckily for me RAC reviewed the invoice and agreed I had been overcharged and not given a choice to decide whether the work should be done. They paid me back some of the amount and will be investigating this garage.

Final words: Being a woman I feel they took the opportunity to overcharge and manipulate me. Please think before leaving your car with this company.

Absolute joke, they claim to be Mobile Auto Experts but when you book in an emergency you get given a price which this lot claim is wrong meaning you end up cancelling professionals for this cowboy outfit.
