Very very impressed
To be 100% honest, I was expecting a huge battle and them trying to wrangle out of paying.
The exact opposite happened, I contacted them, told them how much the repair was, they authorised it.
I took it to my garage on Monday and it was fixed.
I submitted the garage invoice/receipt along with my bank details.
They tell you payments are processed every Friday.
I was expecting it to take a few weeks to receive the money, but by midday Friday (car was only repaired Monday) my money was in my bank.

The main battery went flat and I had to replace it myself as I needed my car for work. I didn’t think Blue Chip would refund me as I didn’t have it replaced at a garage. Within three days of contacting them the money was in my bank. Fantastic service. 👍🏻

We as a business (Lamberts Garage) have worked alongside BlueChip for a number of years now and they really do look after their customers. From policy loading to the claims process they are by far the best in the industry. We have dealt with countless amounts of warranty companies over the years and BlueChip are by far the best! Had an issue with my car, I rang Bluechip and explained the issue. They advised the claims process which I followed. The claim was paid the following Friday. I am extremely happy with my experience with Bluechip and would not hesitate to recommend to others.

Not worth the paper it’s written on
Purchased my son a car which came with blue chip warranty within a week of purchase the engine management light came on, it cleared itself when I started the car to see what light it was. Three days later, back on again. Booked car in for investigations, light went off by time it got there. Three days later, back on again. Eventually got car to garage with light on. Fault diagnoses as a PCV valve fault. Told not covered by warranty! What a sham of a warranty if a part that is not normal wear and tear is not covered. Total con. Don’t bother!

I have located and reviewed your claim on our system, and I can confirm there was not a valid claim present due to an uncovered component.
The estimate submitted by your chosen repairer confirmed it was the pipe that connects to the PCV valve that had failed and required replacement; the pipe is separate from the valve.
This agreement does not cover any form of pipes or hoses. Rubber pipes are neither mechanical nor electrical.
Pipes are also stated within the exclusions section on page 20 of the Vehicle Repair Agreement booklet.
This agreement covers you for a mechanical or electrical failure to a listed component as stated in the Vehicle Repair Agreement booklet; if the failed component is not listed, it is excluded from this agreement.
Please refer to pages 12, 13, 14, and 15 of the Vehicle Repair Agreement Booklet to view the list of covered components.
As a company, we do not stipulate to cover every component on a vehicle or repair required; the covered components are listed within the vehicle repair agreement booklet under the specific level of cover as stated on the owner certificate.
We always recommend the agreement holder review the terms of this agreement in order to familiarise yourself with the features, benefits, definitions, exclusions, and customer requirements.
I apologise that you are not happy with the outcome of your claim; however, we have assessed the claim correctly based on the repairer estimate and terms of this agreement.
Once the pipe is replaced and if there is indeed a fault with the actual PCV valve, please have your repairer contact us, and we will happily reassess the claim.

Restored my faith in warranty protection!
I have had to make a claim during my warranty period.
I received a very professional and courteous service.
I emailed the repair estimate as instructed.
The claim was authorised within an hour of submission.
The faulty component was covered (the replacement part being obtained from a motor factor), and the associated labour cost was also covered (reimbursed at the specified £50ph hourly rate)
The claim cost was paid quickly into my bank.
I am a very happy customer, and I would not hesitate to recommend Bluechip Warranty to others.

Avoid this company
Avoid this company the warranty is not worth the paper it is written on .I have a problem with auto gearbox put in a claim and told they don't cover that part but said with a friendly gesture would give me half I said OK and I will take you to court for the rest . Then they withdrew the offer saying if I wrote a letter saying I would not take them to court they would reinstate the offer that's a sort of blackmail isn't it . I have the premium warranty that says we cover nearly all factory fitted parts except my part how strange is that what a bunch of con men i told them.to keep there offer . I will take them to court it's the principle of it . Do not take out this warranty if offered to you

A valid claim was not present under the terms of this agreement; however, we still tried to help by authorising 50% towards the repairs.
I can also confirm that at no point did we or have we revoked the goodwill payment offered; the goodwill payment is still live, and we are just awaiting an invoice to be submitted once the repairs are completed.
There has been no discussion or contact with you to revoke the goodwill payment; we kindly ask that you provide proof of the goodwill payment being revoked.
It is your right to go through the courts should you deem necessary; however, please supply your advisors with a copy of our vehicle repair agreement booklet, terms and conditions, and relevant email correspondence.
Once again, the goodwill gesture is still valid and awaiting an invoice for payment to be processed.
I apologise that you are not happy with the outcome of your claim.
