Bournes Moves - Removals, Storage & Shipping Reviews

The Team were excellent, Jamie, Able, Arron and Dan just got on with everything, and were polite, very helpful and patient. Nothing was too much trouble, including any request to move furniture around if it didn’t seem to go in the first place we requested it to be positioned.

I would have no hesitation in highly recommending Bournes/Robinson’s, and hope to be able to call on your good services when we next move!!

Friendly and polite packers and movers and they were very careful with all the stuff. Went beyond what was expected. Communication about pick up, paperwork, and drop off was spot on.

Everything was excellent from the gentleman who came initially to Julia in the office who was always kind and helpful. Then all of the removal men were absolutely great nothing too much trouble. Polite professional and kind. On the Monday the 2 guys were so calm and methodical they never rushed us.

We recently moved from London to Melbourne with Bournes, and the experience was outstanding. The team was professional, organized and incredibly attentive from start to finish. Every step - packing, shipping, communication was handled with efficiency. Our belongings arrived safely. Highly recommend Bournes to anyone planning an international move.

Straightforward and friendly to deal with. Survey done promptly with comprehensive quote. Were generally competitive in price terms (one other was a fair bit cheaper but I wasn't comfortable with their approach so preferred to pay more). Move team worked very hard over a 4 day move with some challenges unloading at our new house. Would recommend to others

We were really pleased with the service from start to finish. We opted for the full packing service and it made such a difference – everything was carefully wrapped, organised, and absolutely nothing was damaged in the move. The whole process felt smooth and stress-free, which is exactly what you want on moving day.

Fred and the team were fantastic – friendly, professional, and efficient throughout. They clearly knew what they were doing and worked brilliantly together. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, high-quality removal company.

All round professional and helpful approach, felt we could rely on this Company all through the process

Bournes were great. Friendly helpful service from the start. The lady I spoke to on the phone, Julia, was very pleasant. The guys that packed and moved our possessions were friendly and courteous and careful with our belongings.

So easy to deal with from the start and throughout the whole process. Would definitely recommend Bournes.

Everyone we met in the team were amazing. Friendly, hardworking, patient. They made a stressful and emotional process really easy. I would highly recommend.

Moving to Italy - my family and I made the leap from the UK to Italy three years ago. We kept our belongings in storage and had them delivered this year. There's always a concern that things may go missing, get damaged or mouldy. None of this was the case.

Being re-united with our belongings after such a time was a little emotional, time passes, things change in an instant in life. So there were memories. They guys who delivered everything were happy, smiling, helpful and considerate.

From Bournes in the UK to their Italian colleagues the whole experience was exceptional. There were a couple of inevitable challenges, that were dealt with professionally and with clarity and diligence.

We are indebted to Bournes for handling everything so well. I cannot imagine how they might have improved their service. Finding companies who are so thoroughly reliable is not easy.

I would and shall recommend Bournes as the very best I could find.

Thank you Bournes.

We moved from a 5 bed house to a 6 bed house and I was dreading the removals but Bournes were incredible. They honestly couldn't have been better. Very smiley and so helpful. They did the move over 4 days with a weekend in between. No breakages. No cabinet keys lost etc. Emptied our entire loft in no time at all - it was full! A really lovely team. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. They were very good value for money - I got a few quotes and they were very competitive. So pleased I booked them.

Excellent service. Very efficient and flexible. The guys worked really hard all moving day.

Excellent and very professional.
We would really recommend the company.
They took the stress out of moving because everyone involved were very helpful and they provided such a good service.

The men were great and very professional.
Communication with both the office before the move and the men during was very good too.
Movers were always on time.
Would have no hesitation in recommending.

We were well looked after and the crews were amazing. We felt less stressed as there wasn’t anything for us to do apart from hoovering our property before we left.

Bourne's exceeded our expectations!

The team worked tirelessly to make moving elderly parents as easy as possible.
They were efficient, tidy workers who took care with everything they did and were respectful to the elderly parents who were finding the move very emotional

Thank you to Chris and Dean and not forgetting how helpful Julie in the office was

We really appreciate the kindness everyone gave to us on what could have been a very stressful time. Thank you

Very polite and efficient service, Julia, Scott and all the team did an amazing job for us . They are so helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

Bournes responded quickly to our enquiry. A knowledgeable, polite and friendly person came at an appointed time to answer questions and provide a quote, which seemed competitive, plus no other company that actually responded visited the property. Communications were good throughout and the removal team were friendly and efficient.

The team at Bournes made our move as easy and smooth as it could possibly be. Regular communication from the office and then the removals guys exceeded our expectations in every way. They arrived on time and packed all our things extremely securely; stored them for a couple of months and then delivered them back with extreme efficiency. Nothing was damaged and not a scratch or mark on any of the walls of our new home, despite many, many boxes and lots of heavy furniture! We have no hesitation in recommending Bournes to anyone moving home and/or requiring storage.
