Received my order in a timely manner

I have a Sonos sound system throughout my home with speakers in bedrooms, dining room and a stereo pair of 5s in my living room. For a couple of years issues with the Sonos app failing to connect to speakers or my NAS drive has been a nightmare. Took a chance on a Brennan B3, quick and simple set up and a smooth app. Wish I’d done it years ago. Only downside is my wife is finding it so easy to use I have to put up with stuff like Celine Dion instead of my Sabbath, Heep, Nazareth, Maiden etc.

My SD card had become corrupted. Checked the online help & followed recommendations. Unable to fix so I emailed Brennan Quick response gave me details of how to obtain a replacement. Ordered online & new card received within a few days. Prompt efficient service throughout.

It feels like your own special music community. I have grouped my B3 with Q Accoustic 3030Cs and the results are wonderful. I did want the Brennan speakers but they seem very hard to come by lately.

It’s a great piece of kit; based on my limited experience to date it does pretty much everything you could want from a CD player/ripper/radio/amplifier.
Arrived promptly and well packaged (although left on the front step of the block by the courier - lucky I saw the “Delivered” status on tracking before some passing villain saw the large BRENNAN on the outside of the box).
Even the 20 watt/channel amp seems plenty for my needs through Mission speakers, and finally found the “Tone” controls within the webUI interface to tune the sound.
Haven’t yet figured out if/how to overwrite the radio presets which is all part of why I’ve marked down by one star - the User Manual comprises a quick-start guide and then find your own way through a disparate mix of web site, user forum and random web searches. For the far side of 600 notes it really should come with better documentation - the user forum is full of frightening tales of things going wrong, which is not a good start for what is otherwise the best audio-combi unit on the market.

Edit: impressive client relations - within a day of posting this review I got a message from Martin Brennan himself responding to my comments and indicating they already have updates in hand to address my documentation concern. How many companies are that responsive? Thanks, Martin.

I was hesitant to buy a B3+ on line, due to the lack of a contact phone number in the event of problems.
I was assured on the effectiveness of the e.mail system, so I went ahead.
I had an issue with headphones, which Paul from Brennan managed to resolve within 24 hours.
I have since contacted Paul again regarding radio presets, and again he has responded within 24 hours.
The unit is working very well and I am very happy with it.

Neŵ dB memory stick arrived quickly. Cddb update straightforward.

Nice unit took some time to set it up had to download the manual to get the system to connect still can’t get the optical to work ( new cable) managed eventually on the line out, also had to google how to adjust base treble to my liking (prior to downloading the manual) not sure how to switch into standby did what it says but screen still fully lit up also tried from the internal menu ie after 60 mins screen still backlight?

Had an issue that needed support from Brennan and they supplied the programmed SD card that resolved the issue. Ordered on Friday delivered Tuesday - much appreciate your help and advice

The system is great once I worked out how to do everything. The only issue I experienced was connecting to the WiFi, but after a few aborted attempts it suddenly connected.

I ordered my B3 on a Friday lunchtime it was delivered by Saturday morning. Set up was easy and within 15 minutes I was ripping CD’s. The web interface is better than the app for sorting out your collection. For playback the app works fine. I am slowly working my way through my collection of CD’s and it is great to hear tracks and bands that I had forgotten about. Now do easy to play them straight from the B3 rather than having to search for a particular CD

Delivery of the BrennanB3+ was excellent. However, I have yet to hear any music from it as I have been unable to get any output from the Line out socket. Very frustrating!
I have tried 3 pairs of headphones and a line out jack / jack cable none worked, then I pulled the jack out slightly from the line out socket and got an output. It seems like a dodgy socket.
Martin & Paul reacted very quickly to resolve this problem by offering a replacement B3+, excellent customer support. However, after 'exercising' (pushing jacks in and out!) the Line out socket began working as it should.

24-hour delivery in the UK was great, I already owned a B2 and had previously backed up my music, therefore importing that backup was a doddle, only time taken is the issue, but that's the technology of USB to blame.

I was enjoying the B3 the next morning. A***

Fantastic product, works straight out of the box, easy to back up all my cds. The only thing stopping it from getting 5 stars is the lack of power management on the system. I would like for the screen to go dim if left on and be able to put the unit on standby rather than keep switching off.

Everything was excellent, from ordering through packaging, delivery and after sales.
Excellent piece of equipment with the added bonus of integration with an existing Sonos system.

Order a replacement sd card. It came as expected. Once mounted and various functions reset the B2 is working again.

Getting to know my B3 is not always straightforward but with the right help from Brennan support I am getting there

I bought a much earlier product made by Brennan to store and play my cd collection on well over 20 years ago. This finally needed replacement, and I had no hesitation in purchasing from the company again.

The product is again excellent, as well as the customer service and support throughout the ordering and delivery process. Responses to any queries were sometimes received well outside normal working hours, and were very comprehensive - these days that happens extremely rarely.

It is noteworthy that I have also received a personal email from the owner of the company as follow up, and this reflects enormously in their commitment to excellence and involvement at all levels of their business.

Highly recommended, and hoping for another 20 years of excellent performance from my new purchase.
