The Hyundai Sales Representative John was so knowledgeable, helpful & professional when we purchased our 2023 Hyundai Kona in August this year. However, the After Sales service including Diamondbrite preparation & vehicle valeting and a warranty LED light issue has been a let down involving 2 returns to the showroom & still not resolved.

Extremely poor service – over 6 weeks and my car wasn’t even diagnosed

Unfortunately, my experience with Brindley Nissan Cannock Service Centre has been absolutely appalling.

My Nissan Juke Hybrid was recovered to them after breaking down and displaying an HEV system malfunction. They had my car for over six weeks and did not even manage to diagnose the fault during that time.

The communication throughout was terrible. I had to continuously chase for updates myself and was repeatedly promised callbacks that never happened. Taylor, who was dealing with my case, was particularly unhelpful. I found her manner rude on occasions, and despite being told I would receive calls back, they simply didn’t happen.

I was eventually told that their Nissan diagnostic equipment/system wasn’t working and that they couldn’t tell me when the problem would be resolved. What makes the situation even more frustrating is that I had asked weeks earlier whether my car could be transferred to another Nissan garage so it could actually be diagnosed, and I was told this couldn’t be done.

After more than six weeks of getting nowhere, I had to escalate the situation repeatedly through Nissan Customer Services. Nissan eventually arranged for my vehicle to be removed from Cannock and transferred to another Nissan dealership – essentially the solution I had suggested weeks earlier.

Even the receiving Nissan garage appeared shocked when they heard how long Cannock had kept the vehicle without being able to diagnose it.

I completely understand that equipment and technical problems can happen. What I don’t accept is leaving a customer without their vehicle for over six weeks, providing virtually no proactive communication, repeatedly failing to return promised calls, and offering no effective alternative until the customer continually escalates the situation themselves.

This is a nearly new Nissan that broke down and needed manufacturer support. The experience should not have been this difficult.

Based on my experience, I could not recommend Brindley Nissan Cannock Service Centre. The lack of communication, customer care and urgency was completely unacceptable.

I purchased a used Mini- Countryman from Honda Brindley. From the moment that I showed an interest in the car, to the sale and the aftercare -I have received excellent service.
Tony and Stephanie have been especially wonderful, going beyond any service I have received from previous dealers. Nothing seems too much for them and they always get back to you when they say they will. They have a personal touch to their customer service that is hard to find these days. They told me that many of their sales come from returning customers. I am not surprised. I highly recommend this garage! Tracey

First purchased an Hyundai i10 from John Ellis at Brindley Cannock in January and he was polite, friendly and very knowledgeable and explained everything. So, when it came to my turn and we returned to Cannock to buy a pre reg i20. Again we went to John and just as for the first car he treated us like friends and not customers and remembered our names.
He ran through everything about my purchase of the i20 and when we collected it on the first of august all the paperwork was ready to sign. He did everything necessary for the changeover and the car was really well presented for me. We are definitely going to use Brindley Cannock again, they even sorted out a service plan for me within minutes. Can’t thank John and the Brindley team enough , they deserve the 5 star rating
