I did Seasonal Work here in Manassas, VA Burlington and loved working there. Fast paced environment but very fun. Also the manager worked with me on less hours due to my disability. I would work here again in a heartbeat. I wish I could of stayed on! Oh well.

My credit score has been affected for the second time with their credit card.

Manager doesn't want to open customers restroom, that's unacceptable

The store in Charlotte don’t have restrooms for the customers there restrooms are closed to the public because of the holidays was what an employee told me the lines can be very bad sometimes and as a customers I have to put my things down and leave and go somewhere else to use the bathroom is just ridiculous I was at the charlotte nc location in university and had to leave to go somewhere else to use the restroom

Whatever you do, DON'T do a layaway here! TOTAL RIPOFF!! They REFUSED to refund my purchase when the coat I purchased for my 87 year old handicapped aunt for her birthday didn't fit her. Due to her handicap, she couldn't shop with me, so I had to guess on the size. The layaway was only 2 days completed and 14 days in layaway, WELL UNDER the 30 days of their normal return policy. I would have just bought it and returned within the 30 days if the sales clerk would have informed me when I EXPLICITLY asked for ALL of the policies BEFORE agreeing to go ahead and do the layaway. AND, on top of that, paid an extra $5 for this supposed "privilege." This is a completely underhanded method of stealing customer's money! In 2+ years relocated here in Boardman, Ohio, I have easily spent THOUSANDS of dollars in this store to outfit my new home. At this point, I will NEVER return to this store for anything EVER AGAIN! I was an excellent customer who had spent loads of money with them, and in return for my patronage, they are too CHEAP to return a measly 70 bucks for a gift that didn't fit a handicapped person who cannot shop for herself. Pathetic, gross, and disgusting customer service. Avoid them at all costs and just go to TJ Maxx/Home Goods...

Horrible customer service! Debbie the manager at the Mentor, Ohio burlington is very unprofessional and needs fired, she should not be a manager! I also have found other reviews and complaints from customers about her being unprofessional and rude! I just can't understand how she still is employed at burlington, let alone still a manager?!?! how do you continue to let someone so unprofessional be a team leader! I asked her for corporates number and she told me too google it, snd hungup on me...I will never shop at this store ever again! I will be calling corporate Monday morning 9am sharp!. 🙂

Absolute clowns... their quotations are insulting to put it politely. Maybe they think I was born yesterday. A bunch of Del Boys.

The restrooms are closed to the public! The lines at the registers where 15 deep. The employee’s have a “Too bad” attitude. I’ve had a better shopping experience at Goodwill!!!!

I have been a customer at Burlington for many years , visited multiple locations . My greatest experience was at the Valley Stream location with a dedicated , hardworking , polite and diligent cashier by the name of Radha Ganness .You don’t see this type of hospitality in retail anymore . Five stars for Mrs . Ganness and continued success . Keep up the great work , job well done .

I like this place. They have low prices and you can find some unexpected deals here.

Es una verdadera pena que una tienda que gozaba de tanta popularidad en Puerto Rico haya caído tan bajo.
Se trata de un deterioro en los servicios básicos. Apenas hay personal q atienda el desorden espantoso que se observa en toda la tienda. Son montañas de mercancía tirada en todas las áreas.
Las filas para pagar son largas y lentas. Literalmente tardas HORAS, por lo que si tienes uno o dos artículos, terminas por dejarlos y te vas.
Soy decoradora y me encantaba ir con mis clientes a buscar artículos para el hogar, pero ya no pierdo el tiempo. No sé qué pasó. Esto remonta del 2020 al presente. Antes era muy organizada y daba gusto ir a comprar. Ahora da MIEDO. Dejaron caer la tienda. Son responsables de su deterioro por falta de administración y personal. Es una verdadera pena

I was at Burlington in Rochester, NY today and had a great time during my treasure hunting. I walked out with some great deals and the employees were great. The store is a bit messy, they had 1 employee on the sales floor cleaning and everyone else was on register from what I could see.

I watched numerous customers dumping clothes on the ground and having the nerve to walk on them. The fitting rooms were closed, but I don't blame them as the theft is most likely crazy. I was there a few weeks ago and saw people walking out with things they didn't buy!

Ya'll need to show retail emoyees some grace as you don't know what they are dealing with. Some stores cut hours thanks to corporate. Don't blame those at the store, blame the bosses at corporate!

Went there last night with a couple of friends, the bathrooms smelled like crap and was very sketchy, an employee harassed us for no reason and stalked the whole time we were there, even went to the extent TO WORK THE REGISTER TO STALK US!!!

Must stay this location has TERRIBLE managers. The location is not clean, products are everywhere except where they should be. During the "checkout" process they only had one cashier with about 20 people in line.
I asked the cashier who the manager was on site, she stated there were two there HMMMM, I managed over 30 years in retail and my customers were always number one. So You LAZY Managers sitting on your backsides should have gotten help to open another register or two, or simply check customers out yourselves...Remember as a manager you need to remember who your bosses are, they are every customer that shops at your location.
Today you proved that you both put yourselves above your customers and corporate will hear about this as I am not finished with your SLOTHFUL WAYS.

Closing the restrooms and fitting rooms to customers is a really bad decision. I decided not to buy what we had and will not return to this store. The last few times I have been there I didn’t find much and the No restroom/fitting rooms is just disrespectful to customers. I’m done with this store.

I am very disappointed with their stores eliminating bathrooms for customers. I had to leave their Ontario CA store and go to a neighboring business to use the restroom. Needless to say I didn't go back to give them my business. I thought this was an isolated incident at this store but I found out a few days later that it was the same at their Torrance CA store. I am guessing this is the result of some corporate decision maker who could care less about the convenience of the customer and expects people to continue to shop with them. I am going to voice my displeasure on every social media platform that I use.

Here I am in line again when there’s only two workers working and there’s 50 to 70 people in line this happens every time I come to this Burlington on Pine Island. This is the poorest run store I’ve ever seen.
the isles are filthy, clothing thrown on floor home goods getting destroyed everything is a total mess Nobody bothers to pick anything up. And it’s always like this every single time I come in. And This store needs nee management to the store They need to hire a new manager that knows how to properly run a store. They have 2 on registers and one walking befind them doing absolutely nothing.

I was there on 6/8/2023 I spend about 20 mins picking a outfits for a trip to put on layaway I have never had any problems until yesterday the cashier ask if I put layaway before I said yes I gave her my number she ask for my license I proceeded to ask why did you need my license? when I have had a layaway here before she indicated I am not usually up here I said, OK, so I was searching for a receipt previous from the layaway I picked up which I showed her and she said she couldn’t except that I know the process of their layaways because I’ve done it many times before so I was just questioning why do you need my license so finally after going back-and-forth I gave her my license. I threw it on the counter she got really upset. And there it all started from their I said life is too short and why you making this bigger then it should be she said I need a manager at the from right now making it look as I was wrong she never was professional at all I guess the customer in this situation I was wrong and not right so the manager came up he was as nasty as her I was telling about the situation I ask the same question was given the run around then after that he said we are done snatched the clothes out of my hand with my drivers license I said, why are you doing that? Give me my license back as I stated at the beginning this was the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. The only thing I can say I could’ve handed her my license but again, they are supposed to be professional no matter what I never used any bad language I never raise my voice. I was just asking questions and they took it all the wrong way. I did call customer service for Burlington and they did not act concern either we all as customer consumer we find places where we can save money and find good products , this world is losing the proper energy of bringing customer back in to their establishment. A smile and greeting go a long way Oh I am very sorry This experience has left. A very bad taste and I will never shop at the Burlington in Merriville Indiana. I do not believe that the manager handle it no better than the cashier he never apologized or he never had the patience to listen. He just reacted , pulling the clothes out of my hand is considered assault He made me feel like I was a thief like I was doing something so wrong. In my opinion I did not deserve that type of action. This situation was so simple it could’ve been resolved if we were all communicated and listen to each other that is my opinion on this review.
