I was @ the store here in Sioux Falls , had the worse experience ever , there is no ethic on customer service we are treated like we owe your business, I left my cell phone on the counter and went back inside the store when I notice I didn’t have my cell phone with me , I asked if the cash year seen it and she didn’t even looked at me when I was asking , another associate call the manager to see if he could check the camaras and I heard when he said just because someone lost a cell phone he would not check camaras!!! As you can tell I am very upset on how the manager reacted!
But then again he must’ve been cleaning and organizing the store because it is very messy, looks like a tornado hit the store , upper management need to look into and replaced manager and associates because they don’t care about how the store looks !!!

It’s was around 8:30 when me and my older siblings were trying to peacefully shop for decorations when we saw a weird looking guy that was behind us me and my siblings didn’t think much of it we thought he was a regular customer. When me and my siblings were looking at candles he still was following us, my brother got a little annoyed with the weird guy following us around every single row. When me and my siblings were holding some paintings the weird dude came up to us and said “ you guys finally got what you guys needed?”. And my brother asked a really simple question saying “are you following us?”. The guy said “why does it matter?”. Like me personally I didn’t understand why he couldn’t just answer why he was following us. We soon found out the dude was the manager. It seemed as if the manager got annoyed with my brother asking if he was following us. The manager then said to my brother “if you don’t like being followed leave, you guys have 5 minutes to leave”. The manager then said “no shoes no shirt no pants no service”. As if he thought we were going to steal, mind you all of us were properly dressed. Me and my siblings did absolutely nothing to the manager for him to be pushing us to check out. The manager was also mimicking me and my siblings talking in Spanish as we were leaving.

Shopping with my daughter on 1/13/23 I asked one of the employees a question her reply was I’m not in the mood can you please ask one of the other employees then she continues to talk on her phone about drama she’s having at work I heard her say something about I might need y’all to come handle this little girl at my job I walked away and I’ll never be back Burlington in Henrietta is drama…………. The employee was an older African-American lady with glasses and braids I didn’t get her name none of them had on name tags……unfortunately you might see this review a few times do to me fixing some incorrect information sorry ……

This is hands down the WORST Burlington I have ever been to. Burlington was my favorite store and I literally spend THOUSANDS every year. No more. I was THRILLED to have a Burlington open up within walking distance of my home. Until today. With only three days till Xmas and having been snowbound at home due to being a novice snow driver I ventured out today at my own peril for some last minute gifts and much needed retail therapy at my now former favorite local store.
I had been shopping for a while, my cart was VERY full because at this store YOUR NOT ALLOWED TO TRY ANYTHING ON apparently due to rampant theft I've been told (How you can sell clothing and bar customers from trying it on is beyond me) so I just buy everything that catches my eye so I don't miss out on a good fit at a good price. I never return what doesn't work for me, I just donate it. Anyway I had worked me way too the dress racks at point on the store floor and was looking for a dress for Xmas dinner when a short, obese woman with a buzz cut and bad teeth came up to me and said I'm going to have to ask you to leave the store. Her name tag said "Anbar" I looked around to see who she was talking to, saw no one and said " Me? Seriously? Why?" She then says " We don't have to give a reason, I just need you to leave please." I said " are you for real? Why? I haven't done anything but shop and Im not done. I have a right to know why." I showed her the $6000 in 100 dollar bills I brought with me for that days shopping and told her I plan to buy every single thing in my cart. She kept saying "we don't have to give a reason, please leave". Now I'm getting upset. People are looking at me like I just got caught stealing or something. I WAS JUST SHOPPING. I continued to argue with her. Then another woman joined her and said she was calling 911 and I said I'm calling too this is harassment and discrimination for no reason. I went outside to wait, realized I forgot my coat and went back in to get it. The lady on the phone said I was threatening them. I went back outside and called 911 but I was upset and crying and stunned they could not understand me so I just went home. My Xmas shopping AND my holiday totally ruined. DO NOT SHOP AT LYNNWOOD BURLINGTON, this could EASILY happen to you too. I will NEVER set foot or spend another dime at any Burlington ever again. That's how they treat longtime faithful customers. Get a grip on your theft problem instead of chasing away paying customers. Hire better quality employees too.

The layaway department did not inform me. I lost 35 dollars by giving business this store .now I can't get it back and lost the items I bought. Such a shame and bad customer experience. I will not recommend. For Glen oak branch.

Palm Springs California Burlington was 11:36 PM on Saturday 1126 of 2022 security guard said I only had five minutes because they were closed but their sign says 12 AM so that means I still have 20 minutes to shop but he decided to make up his own hours. So I prefer to go shop at Ross I still had 20 minutes and nobody was rushing me so bad customer service for burglinton I just needed one carpet it was only gonna take about five minutes and they push the way $60 because they wanted to go home early

I used to love Burlinton, but after my visit in November 2022 to the Granada Hills store, I will not be returning. The clothing has gone downhill, and the store is a total mess with a multitude of merchandise lying in the aisles. There were only 2 cashiers in slow motion with about a dozen people in line. My wait to check out was approx 15-20 minutes and the cashier did not smile nor did she speak to me. I amsodisappointed and will not return again!

Burlington on Sheridan Street, Hollywood. I did a purchase on 11/5 of a perfume set as a birthday gift thinking it was for a man. Unfortunately it was a women's set. I went to exchange for the men's set with my receipt and because the sticker was peeled off because it's a gift, they would not let me exchange it. This was the worse experience ever and felt everyone should know if they are giving gifts for the holidays. The manager was the worst ever!!!! I will not shop here again! They don't deserve our business!!

Worst store in my life I wish never to go there again whyyyy???? because three times I returned my items before 30 days I put it my phone number and email’s too which is they told me in this case you can refund after 45 days when I went there they told me they don’t show anything in there system!!!what that means it means Burlington they don’t need anyone returne there stuff that why I say worst experience with Burlington I wish no shopping in this store 😡😡

Hello everyone I'm writing this because of i was employee working at Burlington as a Los prevention when i applied to this company i let them know i had another job so the only time i can work is after 5 sometimes later but i will be in no matter what so now they fired me because the manger that call there selfs manger they do not communicate well at all i never had any problem since i work there so one of the manger change my hours without me know she did so they scheduled me around 5pm to 10:30pm and i don't get off my first job until 5 there no way i can make it there at 5 because i don't get off my first job until 5 so they fired me because i went to one of my family funeral service and i told them i would be late getting because of this so when i get to work they fired me because i was late to work that day y'all when I was coming from a funeral y'all and this is why they have a high turned over rate with employees because they are always treated you like you don't have no life at all you can't go to any family members funeral service or if they are and the hospital if you do you will loose your job and i think another reason why this happened because I'm black African American we can't do anything or you will loose your job like i did y'all this is wrong and they short my last check in now I'm fighting this so i can get the rest of my money that i work for and since this happened me and my family was counting on this money every week so they can eat and now we are struggling to make it with no help from anyone i just have to say this so when you walk into Burlington and you have a feeling about people looking at you or following you around the store that's because you must be black and don't have any money and that your going come in still from them it's wrong y'all i have more to write I will write some more later

So is this the only store that you cannot look at inventory online.You cannot purchase anything online its all a guess.Then if you wanted to contact someone no phone number or email to contact really.I guess they dont want business.

They shut their restroom. I believe they don’t have enough workers, to maintain their restroom. I had to rush home to use my bathroom and there were lots of people who needed it as well.

Bought some clothes for my baby last week on wednesday by friday she wore the pajamas by the morning the pijamas were ripped from the sewing lines so I checked it it turns out those spots barely had any cloth left in the seams so the stitch could grab the other piece of clothing. A waste of $10 plus time & the drive.

Grabbed a bunch of pants to try on but their fitting rooms are closed because they don't want to hire people to run them, so you take merchandise home and some other day you drive back and return what you don't want. How convenient. So I brought back my returns last night, but I'll have to try again on a weekday morning because the line on the only register had 12 people waiting and was not even moving.

At the Wayne, NJ they always have poor service. Fortunately for Burlington there are many customers but not enough cashiers. It’s sad for one cashier to attend all customers. please hire more cashiers

OMG!!! Was at the Chico, Ca store, and was shocked how awful the clothes and shoes were. They were hideous beyond belief. The shoes appeared to be fake and felt like "Wish" returns with fake labels. There was a neoprene scuba diving dress that said "Chanel" in tan so poorly made. One dress looked like 80's kitchen curtains dark green floral with fake vest, pointed collar and fake pearls sewn into V-neck collar. Yes, every label pretty much said "Made in China"

The interest charge they charge when you don’t pay the full amount is ridiculous. So if I owe you 200$ and I don’t pay the whole thing they charge interest. This is the only credit card I had that do this.

I had the most horrifying shopping experience of my life at this Burlington Store at Hawthorne. On September 28, 2022 at 9:30 AM. I went to this Burlington store. As I was walking towards the store from the parking lot, I ran into a mall security person and I said to him that the sign in front of the store says that it should be open by 9am, but I was here yesterday at 9:20am with few other customers and it was still not open; so I hope they are open by now since it was already 9:30am. The security person actually replied and said that they always open late and he does not know why. I walked into the store and informed one of the floor staff that I was here yesterday at about 9:20am but the store was not open even though the sign says that they open at 9am. She did not say much but she did reply and said “oh, it was yesterday”. I started to look at some men’s clothing. After 5 minutes, the same floor staff came to me and said, “The store manager asked you to leave now.” I asked her why but she said she does not know. I then walked out of the store.

This store needs a new manager! She asked me to leave without any reason! It was extremely disrespectful and insulting! It appears that she did not want me in the store because I “complained” that the store was not open on time?!

The Burlington management should look into this matter.

Made my first and last visit to the new Yuba City store. What a dump must be the same manager for our local Ross.
