The very worst, acient, outdated business banking out there, we have or rather had 2 businesses banking with them.

Out of no where they closed a business account, but owed us money.

They sent us a cheque for the remaining, but our new business account does not accept cheques over 500 pounds - Who still uses cheques??

So after several months of going to branch, calling them, they finally agreed to transfer the money to our new bank, the customer service agent said it would take 2-3 days.

Few weeks go by, nothing, so i called again, and the new customer service agent was so rude, she said there is a memo from 2 weeks ago saying it was transferred, but she can't check if it was or not??!!

I'm so confused, are they really stealing our money?!

I was very impressed with how Ramatu dealt with unblocking my account diligently and successfully. I have been bitterly disappointed at the service I received in the previous branches, so much so, that I left it blocked for a number of years.
That is why when I receive superior service I want to recognise it, which I did at the time when I spoke to her Rob. She is a credit to HSBC and I wish her the best in the future.
