Camera Repair Direct provided a very competitive quote meaning my camera was worth repairing rather than spending a vast sum to replace. They were extremely fast, turning round the work and despatching in just one working day after they received my camera. Will use again if I need to and definitely recommend to my friends.

They sent a clear quote of the expected costs to fix my lens after I gave a description of what had gone wrong. After sending it in for repair they promptly sent an email to confirm it had arrived and they had handed it over to the person doing repairs as well as the current turn around window. Once it had been checked over and repaired I received another email confirming the quoted price for the damage sustained and the cost of repair. They also asked what date would be best to receive the repaired lens and sent it at the earliest date I had given. The lens came back in the same condition before damage sustained, if not better, as well as being cleaned. The communication was great all the way through with a fair price.

Very fast turn around to repair an EF24-70mm lens that I had been told was unrepairable.

I dropped my Canon Powershot SX740 and the lens was twisted and would not retract. The camera was totally useless.
The repair from Camera Repair Direct was first class. The quoting process was simple, I sent the camera off as instructed and twelve days later it was returned completely repaired and very well bubble wrapped in a small box.

I accidentally dropped my Canon G7X Mark II, which caused the lens to become slightly misaligned and left the camera unable to power on. After visiting several camera shops, I was told they didn't carry out Canon repairs and that my best option would be to purchase a new camera. Even after speaking directly with Canon, I was advised that it might be worth considering a replacement, as a new lens alone would cost over £500. This was despite the fact that the lens itself wasn't dented or damaged significantly, it had simply been knocked slightly out of place.
Thankfully, I came across this company. Wes responded incredibly quickly with a repair estimate, and my camera was sent off the very same day. The repair was very reasonably priced, compared to being told I may need to replace an £850 camera.
The service was outstanding from start to finish, and my camera is now working perfectly again. I will absolutely be recommending Wes to others and wouldn't hesitate to use this company again in the future should I ever need another repair.

Camera needed the lens etc cleaning after blobs had appeared.
I contacted Camera Repair Direct for a quote. Wes communicated the postal repair service well & was courteous. He kept us updated at each step.
Camera was repaired properly, quickly & packaged well on return.

I have two ancient Canon Ixus models which had the same fault – the battery door had snapped (I suspect it’s a design or materials failure). Frankly, I ought to scrap them and just use my phone but I have a slight preference for a dedicated, single-function device.
I contacted Camera Repair Direct, and got a very quick response with a quote which I accepted. They warned me that, as the parts are no longer available, they would have to source second-hand for me, which I agreed. A nice touch was that postage charges were included, so there were no extras on the bill.

I am very pleased with Camera Direct Repair’s service: I posted the cameras on Friday, they received them on the Monday, contacted me on the Wednesday to confirm the repair and take card details, and I received them – fixed - on the Friday.

I had shutter button trouble with my Canon 750d. They received it on a Tuesday. I had it back repaired, and cleaned, on the following Friday. Fantastic service. Kept me fully informed at each step. I would not hesitate to recommend these guys. What a find, definitely use them again if a problem arises again!

Wes both diagnosed and repaired an issue I had with my canon 24-70mm lens very quickly and for a very reasonable price, could not recommend more.

Cost £126 (plus postage to them) to repair my Canon SX730. A new equivalent camera would have been at least £500.
Good exchange of emails to clarify the precise problem, repaired camera returned quicker than expected.
I did raise something else on the camera I'd liked them to look at, which they didn't come back on, but that was down to me submitting Iate in the day after they had quoted a price.

Sent a broken camera lens in for a repair and it was a very quick turn around. Excellent communications. Repair cost quite reasonable. Returned in a nice sturdy box and safely packaged. Would recommend.
