I appreciate it can be disappointing when you don’t receive a credit limit increase.

While we can never guarantee that we'll increase the limit on your account, continuing to managing your account well by regularly using your card, making payments on time, and staying within your limit will stand you in good stead for an increase in the future.

You can request an increase anytime via the mobile app, and we’ll let you know if you become eligible in the future.

When you apply for a credit card with us, we use the information provided on your application, along with your credit file, to make a decision on the credit limit we can offer you.

I appreciate you are disappointed your £300 credit limit. We have to do the relevant checks in line with our internal lending policy to make sure we’re lending responsibly and providing an affordable credit limit. These checks can’t be done until the full application process has been completed. This is explained in the terms and conditions of your account, shown to you during the application process.

I’m really sorry to hear you’re unhappy that we’ve not been able to increase your credit limit.

We make our decision about increasing your credit limit by taking a look at how you manage your account, and reviewing your credit file. We look at many things but are more likely to increase your credit limit if you have paid on time, haven't gone over your limit, and you don't have a lot of debt elsewhere.

If we see it’s possible to increase it in future, we’ll get in touch with you. Alternatively, you can check if an increase is available via your online account or mobile app by clicking ‘My card’ , ‘My credit limit’ & ‘Request a credit limit increase’.

Unfortunately we can never guarantee that we'll increase the limit on your account.
