I placed an order for my car, the paint arrived after 1 week which was fine, but the colour didn't match, I took photos of the paint they had sent me and my car colour and emailed them. They did actually email back asking what was the paint code on my car and what was the code on the bottle they had sent me....they were totally different!!..............................that was the last time i heard from them, i have emailed numerous times asking for a refund and i have phoned them just to listen to an answerphone message. I then looked up vauxhall themselves and found that they do supply paint touch up kits ( i obviously should of checked them first) they sent me the perfect colour within 3 days and cheaper than this dodgy cowboy run 'company' KEEP AWAY!! SAVE YOUR MONEY

Order LJ61LL00054129 Having ordered by touch up paint on the 14th February a month later I have not received my product. Having emailed about my order 3 times I received one feeble response and no other reply to the further two.

In short I have not received my product, nor any useful on constructive communication about if I'm ever going to get my order or a refund.

Utterly useless company and service!

Correct colour paint received within a few days, good colour match.

I ordered a touchup kit for my car on 10th November, to date I have not received the paint and have not received a refund although i was told that the paint was despatched at the end of last week, well what day would be helpful i struggle to believe that a company doesn't know the exact date they despatched an item, i have however been promised a refund so we will see if that materialises, I can't recommend this company in any shape or form, they don't answer their phone and don't always answer emails.

I must admit my heart sank when I read others comments but the paint & lacquer turned up within 10 days and the match is very good - I just needed some touch in paint for stone chips.

DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. I BELIVE THEY JUST CHUCK ANY OLD COLOUR IN A BAG AND SEND IT ON. THEY WONT REPLY TO EMAILS OR CALLS AND I HAVE CONTACTED TRADING STANDARDS

Decided to order paint online as the vehicle dealer is some distance away, and they did not have the touch-in pencil I needed for a small job I had undertaken for a neighbour.
Readers - please bear in mind this car is not very old, and the paintwork considered to be in excellent condition other than for the small dink caused by a kindly cyclist who didn't even apologise for doing it - (but 'nuff said on that score!).
I do sympathise greatly with those who have lost money to this lot. Simply appalling behaviour, and sadly a typical example of those who give the Trade as a whole a poor reputation.
As ex Motor Trade I do appreciate several things have to be considered when paint is required.
Shades can vary vastly, aging of the vehicle's paint is often difficult to allow for, and even genuine ones are only ever an average of the shade, and many variations are possible - but a really good paint mixer can often allow for some of these. Even factory fresh paint can be minutely different in shade. Spectrometers are really the ony way to almost guarantee exact match on the vehicle to which a paint is to be applied.
Colours can also be applied across a range but with different names, which are sometimes denoted by prefix or suffix to the basic number.
Bearing this in mind I should have been a bit more aware when only the registration number is used in preference to the actual paint code of the specific vehicle !

Only the basic code was written in biro on the invoice, and the suffix did not appear anywhere which should have given a clue as to what to expect.
Of rather thin consistency - almost as though it's been mixed for application by gun, but this is easily overcome by dispensing the quantity required and stirring for a short while until the desiered thickness is obtained.

A while ago I also had experience of their "Wheel Silver" bought by a friend to disguise a small nick in one of his alloy wheels,
Much the same applies to this as the colour paint above (and I tried test patches to six other different makes of car) - in tis instance the paint was nothing near the right shade and a Humbrol enamel model paint was found to be a far better match more accurate in shade and durability.
I would not recommend this rather unreliable firm for the various reasons stated above.
* Despite the inconvenience I subsequently ordered a genuine touch-in from the vehicle dealer.
Colour match is spot-on. It's often cheaper (except in my case maybe purely because of the cost the fuel to go and collect and far superior, so in my case (and I do admit I of all people should have known better! ) Lesson learned - stick to original parts if possible, and if anything's wrong you can go back screaming to the manufacturer if need be.

Paint kit ordered and arrived; one paint can was the wrong colour. Unable to contact by phone or email. Also, web-site states that 'the price you see is the price you pay', which is incorrect - the price you see then has VAT and postage added at the check-out.

I'd ordered and then seen the reviews so I was understandably worried. Unlike many I'd looked up my colour code and this is very easy to do if you look at the sticker usually on the inside post of the drivers door. The colour is an ok match not perfect but then the car is 8 years old so the paint does lighten in the sun. The main issue I have is with the communications, or should I say lack of, from this company. They have to be aware people are disgruntled with what they're doing but they make no effort to change that perception and the information on their website about the fact they'd been away for holiday was overly aggressive. I received one email several days after placing the order then 6 days after that received my paint. They didn't answer their phone when I called and I did so repeatedly to check what was going on. Really I feel a company with such a poor reputation should at least send a dispatch notification and invest in a virtual receptionist if they're unwilling or unable to answer their phone.

I only hope that other people have seen these bad reviews before they order, I'm really annoyed at myself for not checking!

They take your money and never send the item, the phone number goes straight to answer phone every time and the email address has an automatic reply saying that they were on holiday about two months ago.

I never got my money back.

I had the same trouble as many other people re carpaintrepair.co.uk i.e. sent the wrong paint; wouldnt answer emails; only an ansafone. So I got in touch with the local Trading Standards as follows:- West Lothian Council, Environmental Health and Trading Standards, Civic Centre, Howden South Road, Livingston, West Lothian EH54 6FF Tel 01506 280000 Fax 01506 282488 . They got hold of the company and got me a refund.
I heard that they have a file on them. Also Which? I believe getting involved.

Carpaintrepair.co.uk are clearly operating a low level scam/fraud and get away with it as the sums involved are individually very small but large enough in total to fund Florida holidays on a regular basis - they must be laughing their way to the bank off the back of the hundreds of customers they have scammed. Now and again they seem to fulfil an order correctly just to confuse the issue. Without going into detail, having chased them they asked for a colour code and then sent me some red paint for my black car.

I purchased paint for my car and this sham of a company assured me that the colour match was guaranteed (stated on their website as well!!).
The paint they sent me was nothing whatsoever like the colour I ordered and which they said was matched to my vehicle.
I contacted them several times and have never received any response.
The only advice I can give anyone is to avoid this cowboy operation as all they will do is take your money and run.
Definitely one to be avoided at all costs and in my opinion Trading Standards need to investigate this operation as they are scamming people.

They send any old paint they have to hand without any attempt at colour matching. They sent me yellow paint and my car is blue.

Paid for a spray can, gave them my registration number. A week and one confirmation email later it arrived with the paint code matched exactly!

I ordered a paint/lacquer touch-up kit from these people, without doing what I usually do and checking reviews beforehand on the Net.

Big mistake.

I haven't completely given up hope, but nothing has arrived and I too am unable to get anyone to pick up the 'phone.

I will try and recover my money but hopefully this will warn others that they may be wasting theirs by dealing with these people.

Took my money £31 (including fast courier delivery) on 7th April 2014 but still waiting. Emailed several times and each time received the reply saying about to be dispatched wait a couple of days but nothing arrives. They don't answer the phone. Now they no longer answer emails. For what it's worth will try to cancel the order and demand a refund but it seems unlikely. Will submit a report to the West Lothian police Fraud department and trading standards who I believe are already investigating this rogue company.

PLACED THE ORDER ON 27/3, AND WAS ABLE TO GIVE THE PAINTCODE AS WELL AS THE REG.NO. I HEARD NOTHING FOR A WEEK AND A HALF SO I SENT A HASTENER EMAIL.
IT WAS THEN THAT I STARTED TO TWITCH A BIT AND READ THE REVIEWS, AND MY HEART SUNK.
BELIEVING THAT ALL WAS LOST,I WAS BEGINNING TO MOUNT MY CAMPAIGN FOR REDRESS,WHEN lO AND BEHOLD THE ORDER TURNS UP AND WOULD YOU BELIEVE IT, IT'S A NIGH-ON PERFECT MATCH.
MAYBE I'M JUST THE LUCKY ONE, BUT I SPEAK AS I FIND.

Ordered some paint last month. I received a instant confirmation then waited five days. Nothing. E-mailed received a automated response, nothing. Three more e-mails and a phone call no answer. Do not use this company. I have contacted my credit card provider and hope they can help.
Update.
Replied to the suppliers last e-mail stating that I had contacted my card provider. Surprise surprise I received a reply!!!!!! The supplier stated that they had dispatched the goods and two wait another two days. Next day i have paint!!!!! Nearly three weeks from order to delivery.
I had contacted world shopper and trading standards. Trading standards stated they would pass the complaint to the correct department.
Would I have received any paint if I had not took such drastic steps, I very much doubt it. A lot of their customers according to the internet never received anything so I can count myself lucky. Will I buy from them again, No,
