What an absolutely appalling customer service this store has! Bought a PS4 VR Headset from them online, when it arrived the camera adapter was missing which I reported instantly asking for the missing part to be sent as I cant use the set up on PS5 without the adapter! waited 2 and half days without response, so I opened a return for refund request!

This was ignored a future 2 days! When I said I'm going to make a formal complaint, Via Cash converter head office I got a replying offering a part refund of £10 which I accepted so I could buy the missing part! AGAIN I was being ingoted, no refund and still no acceptance of the return request!

5 days have now passed ! Today I get a reply telling me to close the dispute and they will issue the part refund?

WE BOTH KNOW IF I CLOSE THIS CASE I HAVE NO ENTITLEMENT TO RETURN SHOULD YOU LIE AGAIN ABOUT THE PROMISED REFUND?

I sell on this platform! we both know the rules and we both know you can issue a part refund from an open case! Which you later admitted to over the phone, proving your a lair and a cheat.

The only reason you remained professional over the phone is because you know calls are recorded! Lets see how your head offices feel about your Ebay manner, in your complete lack of respect for your customer.

I purchased a Delonghi 3kw fan heater from the Fulham branch. It was described as used but looked in very nice condition, complete with the box. It arrived in less than 24hrs to Lancashire. Extremely well packed and after opening the box found the fan heater to be brand new. An excellent buying experience and outstanding customer service. I would Highly Recommend this business. This was my first purchase from Cash Converters, and unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience.
I purchased a camera online which was advertised as coming with batteries and accessories. The batteries never arrived. I was subsequently told that Royal Mail had attempted delivery, but no calling card was left and I was never provided with any proof of the alleged delivery attempt.
After several emails and a telephone conversation, I was eventually offered a full refund once the camera was returned. I returned the camera by tracked delivery at my own expense, and the parcel was successfully delivered.
The refund for the camera was eventually received, but the return postage that had been agreed was not refunded.
I appreciate that the company did ultimately refund the camera, and the staff I dealt with were polite. However, the amount of time and effort required to resolve what should have been a straightforward purchase was extremely frustrating.
This was my first experience of buying from Cash Converters and, unfortunately, it has left me reluctant to use the company again.

Outstanding service. Fantastic. I visited the Wakefield branch last month on a road trip looking at my old Uni gig haunts and guitar shops. The nice guy with long hair and glasses saw me looking at watches through the window. He nipped out to say ‘ooh tempting’ or some other nice Yorkshire banter. We started weighing up my options. Like visiting an old friend. I used this shop when in need over 25 years ago. The nice guy, Michael I hope I have remembered his name, he showed me through all the wonderful watches. I settled on a Rotary Navitimer homage. I got a stunning deal on a Go Pro camera too. Oh my gosh!!! It was great to chat about Wakefield’s musical past and present and the venues. Michael is a classic. I was severely tempted to visit the bank for the Rolex Zombie GMT. Thank you guys soooooo much. A victory lap as I have recently married and am loving life. You made my day special. Please can I recommend the staff for reward and recognition for their hard work. I’m a bit excitable, but they are were so kind. Everyone was a pleasure to deal with. 5 stars. I will be back for that Boss delay pedal. Such a great drive over from Manchester. See you again soon :-)))

Hare store branch are not helpful I’ve had issues a lot the last one was changing my 28 day contract to 26 because they don’t tell you the 2 day that is extended is removed from contract now I have to put my Mac Neo in just to get my iPad extended cus I’m not paid for another week. They aren’t friendly in the store and having audhd is stressful when I was at a previous store in another city where they were amazing took everything and wasn’t only interested in the up market stuff they don’t want to help

The Newcastle Branch of CC ( Clayton St ) are incredible. The communications, flexibility and packing was just exceptional.

Excellent price and good one year guarantee.
It was well wrapped but delivered with a broken radio aerial.
This wasn't mentioned in the advert so it may have happened in Transit
Fortunately it was a f type connector on a dab radio so I just had to buy another aerial..
Apart from that disappointment goods were great,
Delivery via DHL which I paid extra for for fast delivery was a disaster, DHL didn't turn up on the day they said and then on next day it was rescheduled for 14:00-16:00 and apparently they tried to deliver circa 13:00.
Ended up having to drive 20 miles to collect as DHL wouldn't leave a £25 radio without a signature...on the next day
Won't ever select the fast option again if it uses DHL, realise that's not Cash Converters fault but think buyers need to beware of DHL. The only delivery service that would not leave in a safe place so far .

Excessive delivery charge for a small item, order number - PO39667009049

I recently ordered a small item from Cash Converters and was charged £7.99 for delivery.

When the tracking was given, I could see that it had simply been sent using Royal Mail Tracked 48. For a small item, the actual Royal Mail postage cost is considerably less than £7.99.

I understand that retailers can add reasonable packaging and handling costs to postage, but £7.99 seems excessive given the size of the item and the delivery service actually used.

I’ve contacted Cash Converters to ask them to explain how this delivery charge is calculated and whether they consider it reasonable.

I’m happy to pay a fair delivery charge, but I don’t think customers should be charged substantially more than the reasonable cost of sending a small item without a clear explanation of where the additional cost comes from. I would expect next day delivery for this price and hence why I paid it.

Always on time and love there return policy

Finchley Ballard Lane store-Bought item off store ,took a week to arrive.Didnt work straight out the box as clearly wasn’t tested first.Emailed the next day-no reply .phoned the day after -will arrange a collection.Heard nothing after.3 days of mucking around and emails and another call-eventually gets picked up .Item arrives at their store,3 days later -no refund.Phoned again and got hung up on twice.Eventually spoke to a
Rude and shouting person who said ‘only manager can do this refund’ and basically hung up again.And by magic I finally got refunds an hour later even though no ‘manager’ was on site in store .
Won’t be buying from this store again.
