Trash company that will continue to charge you after canceling your server. When contacted about the charges was told it was now taken care of and cancelled. Charged The next month. This is an untrustworthy and fraudulent company.
BE WARNED.

This is the baddest host i ever expierenced. They dont even deserve 1 star. Never go in sea with this guys. Their support is worhtless. I asked them a simple thing to fix MYSQL server. And they just dont wanna do it. When you write a message to support. You have to wait atleast 24-48 hours to get 1 reply of them. They are also saying they offering mod packages of ESX. Also this is worthless. Its outdated and the most of it doenst even work. They say they have vehicles scripts ect of FiveM while all the scripts they have are outdated for more over 3 years. This hosting service is only about taking money out of your pocket and nothing else. I DO NOT SUGGESTS ORDERING A SERVER HERE. ITS A WASTE OF MONEY

Server just didn't work, players couldn't connect and couldn't wipe it clean either. 24/7 Support didn't help told me to make a ticket. After 18 hours of waiting without response I came back to the 24/7 Support to ask for my money back but they ignored my demand.

I have been hosting an Arma 3 game server for a while now with citadel and so far I have found the service to be very good. The user interface is easy to use and works well. I have raised a few support cases with them and each time the response has been fast and the issues have been resolved fast and professional.

I have 2 servers with this company, the servers work fine if you know what you're doing. They have the "Optional Premium Service" for $19.99 add-on. They advertise it as mod service and premium support. Yet all Support Tickets go unanswered, no replies and no input.
Citadel Servers is nothing more than a ghost service, automated with one person collecting the money.

There are far better providers out there that at least have service staff on hand. They pretend to be "Mod Focused" and it has that feel, even more tools than others. The moment you need actual help, you're on your own for quite awhile.

I had a service from them which I canceled (because it was just horrible), but despite of that the month later they billed me again, and refused to give me the money back. I am waiting on Paypal to see if they can do anything about it.

I'm a fanatic about customer support and the customer experience. I'm even a partner in a company called Create Buzz that trains businesses both large and small about creating an exceptional customer experience. I've bought and sold numerous companies, and each time I find a new one the first thing that I do is move the infrastructure to Citadel Host.

Day on night these guys are on it! They are probably the only company that I can honestly rate a 10 in all areas.

Stay away from these thieves. I paid for a 3-month subscription for a FiveM server. Upon receiving the email that the server was ready. I proceeded to it, only to find out that it was banned by FiveM. I immediately opened a ticket and the day after the ticket was closed without an explanation or solution. I suspected that these clowns were not legit, so I clicked on cancel server and opened a second ticket and asked them to issue a full refund. Four days after payment, they finally replied. Not to tell me that they fixed the problem but to tell me that the previous owner of the server somehow caused FiveM to banned the IP address. This clown then asked me if I would like for them to fix it. Really? No, just leave it blocked because I just love throwing money away. Seriously. Who runs these company?

I once again told them that I already had a server from Zap Hosting and BTW (worked minutes after payment) and for them to cancel and give me a refund for services that I never got. They kept refusing only giving me an option for credit. Why would I want credit for a future server from an incompetent company such as Citadel Hosting’s? They then sent me their term for services. This is how dishonest these clowns are. The term for service clearly states that I have 3 days to cancel for a full refund. I cancelled and submitted it in writing in a ticket the day after, but I do not qualify for a refund. The matter is being handle by my credit card company. Do yourself a favor and stay away from these thieves. Four days to reply while my 3 months subscription keep ticking away.

Rented a Wurm Unlimited server through them paying the extra for a dedicated IP and for there server migration service, after about three hours I get a message to log in and try my server out which I quickly tried to do but unfortunately my server didn't show up on the list nor could I connect to it through the IP nor even through there own control panel... Replied to the ticket and some 24 hours later still no response..

I wish I would have looked up the reviews before I went with them and saved my money since it seems there money-back guarantee is a lie and they only give credits to there service... who in the hell would want credit to a site there canceling to?

Bought a Terraria Game Server. Most simple server ever as it needs just a linux/windows VM and giving the user a way to access the server console.

Not only that is not available but the entire UI to manage it is so barebones and buggy that you are better off setting everything on your PC and then uploading your world.

But of course forget about being able to do anything that need accessing the server console.

Worst game server service I've ever seen. And I'm a goddamn devops engineer.

As a past citadel servers customer i would like ot share my experience with them. I was overcharged one for the amount of 16.82. The only solution they offered was to refund that in credits. Which i never received. Followign that i canceled my service and was overcharged 57.87. Once i caught the overcharge i logged in and submitted a ticket. THe only solution No refunds, here is your credit for the service you no longer want. Here it is 3/20/2023, almost 3 years after i posted my review, no longer doing business with them, and i get an email that they are "requesting more information". This is obviously an attempt to get my review taken down because why else would it take 3 years for them to respond?

Good all round experience with my wurm unlimited server, would rent again

A welcome change to game hosting industry. I've used nitrado and g portal before but neither i could say were "great". But this host is a actually great and above the curve.

* Fast support
* Good features in control panel
* FTP and file manager
* One click install mod for games ( I tried this with an ark server )
* MySQL provided for free

If I ever have any questions and I contact their support, the support team is helping me determine the issue within minutes. last resolution on adding a new minecraft modpack was super fast.

I have not had any issues with citadel since I've been using it.

Easy to use, got my fivem server up in a few minutes

Bad customer service, sending out fake invoices. Do not trust.

Wonderful host I use for my clan gaming site, they offer discounts for long time hosts like me which makes me see they value loyalty. This review is long time coming and they deserve the 5 stars

Absolutely the best host for fivem, amazing that they have so many mods as one click installs! I was ripping my hair out over installing ESX for fivem and they have it all as one click modpack! AMAZING!

Ran a rust server for a day, facing a horrible experience as an admin.
First problem was the "lagginess" of the server the latency of the server of inconsistent and the players were facing lag issues half the time.
Second problem was the server rollback, it was a very horrible experience for me and the players, there was almost a 30 mins rollback and it was truly frustrating.
Third problem faced was slow customer services on server issues, the supports could reply billing problems within a few minutes but replied to server issues within hours where the issue was urgent.
