Close Brothers Fixed Rate Savings Bonds
Purchased a fixed rate savings bond from Close Brothers offering a higher than average interest rate. The online application process was easy and the communication thereafter was good and provided reminders about fund transfer and reassurance once the funds had been received.

The initial application was a bit difficult for me but once in, everything was self explanatory and I was happy with that.

I year bond transfer
A fortnight ago I transferred a significant amount of money across to close brothers savings, into a 1 year bond, I can tell you right now what a terrible mistake that I made, their customer service support absolutely terrible, the advisors I have spoken with are extremely unhelpful and very uninterested in my concerns, simply wanted hard evidence of my funds in either email or hard copy which I haven’t still received on either platform, my own personal advice is stay clear from them !

I find close brother very poor to deal…
I find close brother very poor to deal with always coming early for monthly payments not on the date I set up then got the cheek to charge you late payment and say they are going to cancel the agreement, I took out insurance with Churchill if I knew they where going to pass it on to close brothers I wouldn't have bothered I dont want to use 2 company's just for one policy ,I just want to bother with the company I took it out with ,I find it hard to get any sense out of them I can't understand stand them,you try and explain what you are ringing for they keep repeating themselves can't get no sense

Great investment returns
The site is easy to navigate and feels secure
Thd option of bonds and high rates is better than most. I have other bonds in Close and am happy with rhe investment returns

A good all round service with a simple application process
I am an existing customer and when considering further investment I decided to use Close Brothers again. The online application was simple and very user friendly. Overall, I am extremely happy with the service and the website.
