Getting winter ready
i have never used this company before, but i will without doubt be using them again. So helpful on the phone and the delivery was perfect. Helping with unloading and stacking was a big bonus.

The best price for what I wanted
The best price for what I wanted. 20kg of excel coal, I can't lift 25kg bags by myself...why don't more brands do that size? Had some issues with the check out on my phone so transferred to the laptop. £10.80 was charged for delivery. As I don't live in the back of beyond, but on an A road, could not understand the charge. Gave Tom a ring. He could not understand either. He checked and all the pallet firms they use charged for my area of Wales! Such a good price I went ahead. Tom phoned me back and said none of them understood the charge so they would pop in some of the fancy fire lighters for free. Excellent Customer service!

Customer service outstanding
Without using a lot of words to describe in small detail just how good Coal-Drop’s service is, well over and beyond what I had expected, the price was by far the best I could find for a particular brand of smokeless fuel I was looking for. Just check out their web-site and compare their prices with that of other fuel suppliers. I cannot recommend them enough.

Fantastic customer service and premium product
Highly recommend for quality smokeless coal. From initial enquiry to receiving my order, I am very impressed. We have a rayburn to heat our home and I needed to make sure I found good quality coal at a good price. I initially purchased through another popular company as they had good reviews, buying their economy coal which I found to not burn very hot, didn't last long, produced a lot of ash and always arrived wet or damp taking ages to dry out. With coal-drop, I enquired about which coal would be best for my situation and was provided with a personal response from Tom who was very helpful. When I eventually placed my order for their Premium Multi Coal, Tom called me to discuss delivery arrangements making me feel valued as a customer. Then the coal arrived and what a difference! The Multi coal is superb, definitely premium as Tom described. The coal is large, burns hot for longer, I only have to empty the ash pan once or twice a day, depending on how much I use and wasn't wet in the sacks when it arrived so I could use it straight away. Thank you so much, will definitely purchase again.
