I was referred to Cora for a knee MRI
I was referred to Cora for a knee MRI. When I evevntually had an appointment , it was with a physiotherapist for assessment. He decide I should have an X-ray and not an MRI which I accepted. He told me to go to Chelsea and Westminster hospital as it wold be the quickest wasy of getting the results. I did so on the next day (31 March 2026). Today, 20 MArch, I still haven't got teh results. I've called Coa a number of times and they just stall; they say they don't have the results and cannot chase them until 9 weeks have passed. I tired to speak to a manager but no avail, they just don't call back. I hopooned the hospital and they told me that they have had the results for a while and have sent them to Cora. This company is wasting NHS money and hiding behhind "systems" and "protocols in order to do nothing. Shameful.

Poor
Could not organise an appointment if there life depended on it, apparently their diary only covers the coming week so if you’re not available and unable to attend that short notice you are a problem to them. my daughter asked for an appointment for the following week when she was available all week away from work and was told no can’t have that and if she didn’t book an appointment within the next 28 days, which is their criteria, she will be discharged. To book an appointment within the 28 days she would’ve needed to have been offered an appointment during those 28 days but apparently that’s too hard for them to do. They also would not book an appointment within a local clinic they were offering appointments of that week which are unavailable for her 50 minutes away and 40 minutes away. How was this care? she’s been suffering with pain for months or waiting for these appointments. and is still to be diagnosed so at this moment in time we still don’t know if every time she moves her knee, she is damaging it more.

The length of time you spend being triaged is shocking, once they get your scan results they don’t share them with your Dr & take weeks to share them with you even when you get told you are too of the list!!!!
Staff are so rude & yes the admin team work from home & have radios blaring in the background & kids screaming.
The Physios leave as they too get so frustrated with the slow service & the total lack of support from the management team.
Total waste of OUR MONEY, give the control back to our Drs!!!!

I filled out a quite extensive form detailing my problem. Received an AI generated response saying that my details were being reviewed and I would be contacted with an appointment. One week later I had heard no more and phoned them (several times before my call was answered) . They had no record of my online contact and needed to take my details again. Then made an appointment in 3 weeks time for an initial phone consultation. A real step backwards from the NHS service that I gave previously received, but at least taxpayer NHS cash is now lining the pockets of Venture Capitalists and Asset Managers.

Great Communication? Not!
First heard of this company when I received a letter shortly after discharge following surgery in March, addressing me as a patient of the company whose work was being transferred to "Cora". I had never been notified of any referral, so was mystified. I rang and was told of the referral "but no physio appointments until late April or May."
Next contact (mid May) sternly informing me that I had failed to respond to their contact inviting me to make an appointment. I have never had any such communication.
Lacking any confidence in this clown show, and wanting to get on with rehabilitation, I had, in the meantime, arranged private physiotherapy.
Seeing the reviews here, I am glad I did.

Utter shambles of a supposed medical company
What is the point of this joke of a medical company.
You can only speak with receptionist who may aswell just be taking messages for all the help they don't give.
Voicemail left my an anonymous person asking me to ring. 2 minutes later I'm speaking with said receptionists who dont know who called or why.
To then refuse access to speak to someone who actually can help. Refuse to get a supervisor or manager to call me. Refuse to make notes on my patient record. I'll send a message is what seems to be the only thing their recent can do.
They have caused me further injury, not too mention the extreme mental anguish they are causing further worsening my condition.
They have told me they are unable to treat housebound patients. Ive been housebound for 2 years waiting for help.
And now I have to wait another 3 weeks for a physio, who has already said he will not treat me as we do not get along. The same physio that attempted to send me to a mobile MRI unit who cannot treat disabled patients as there is no way to get a wheelchair up stairs.
I doubt very much I've got long left and this tinpot shambles of a comedy store make you wait again.
I'd be interested to know what kind of bribes they used to convince the NHS to give them a contract knowing just how bad thr reviews are.
The good part is I've got them all call recorded which is probably why the solicitor seems to be rather happy dealing with their utter negligence.
At least this call I wasn't lied to over and over again like the previous several interactions with them so maybe someone in upper management is paying attention to the disgraceful reviews they have.
I can guarantee one thing though. Mike Turner hasn't got a single clue what he is meant to be in charge of....Probably too busy counting his ill gotten gains the NHS are providing because if he did he'd make an actual attempt to make a difference...Unfortunately Cora Unhealth have no desire whatsoever to treat patients or even listen to them.
I now wait for Lewis, who said we will not be speaking again, to call.
Just to put it in perspective this physiotherapy company and thats all they are at best are making this patient who has breathing and quite severe swallowing difficulties wait another 3 weeks to discuss an URGENT referal that was sent that has been rejected because they haven't examined this patient in any way, shape or form or arranged any tests of any kind or to be bluntly honest sent the correct information about why the urgent referal was sent...
I also need operations on both my hips, which they ate incapable of doing or arranging and quite possibly knee surgery if not a replacement both of which they are incapable of doing.
My advice to ANYONE is that if your health is of importance to yourself and you are sent there do yourself a favour and refuse and ask to be referred elsewhere.
So let's see how long I last not being able to eat or drink properly and confined to bed with no help from anywhere or anyone while this insult to the medical profession make me wait longer even though they know my situation.
My brain is about to snap me out of reality and it's all thanks to the negligence of a supposed medical company that are causing 99% of my health deteriation.
Next to email today's call recordings over to the solicitors to add to the countless others i have.
Again DO NOT accept being referred to this lot. Your health depends on it

current patient postcode ineligible.
Had a referral done by GP for a hip problem, which is causing severe daily living problems, and was flagged at a previous appointment by one of Coras physios (who would get 5 stars), who insisted i get a referral. This morning I checked the portal and was informed that I need to fill in the phio Ai. On the initial screen I am blocked from progressing further, as my GP postcode is apparently ineligible. There are a few genuinely good clinicians working for the service, and it's probably useful if you have a simple problem. unfortunately I do not.
I was contacted by the service, after enquiring about this. And told to phone the main number.

The absolute worst service ever
The absolute worst service ever. They are the only way to get a scan through the nhs now but the follow up is appalling. I sat and waited for my telephone appointment today at 1pm but instead I received a text message with a link basically saying check it yourself and discuss it with your gp. Advise being basically wait TIL your wetting yourself and can’t walk properly then get back to us. Months of waiting in misery for that. Do not recommend

Completely useless
Completely useless. Waiting over 5 months for an appointment, still no word 2 months after we were told we would get one. Called them on behalf of someone as they work and can't call during work hours, and they told me to get written permission via email. Did so, called back, and was told by someone else that verbal permission is actually needed. Agent was extremely rude and unhelpful
Tried to file a complaint on their website and it wouldn't accept anything.
Just atrocious, avoid these imbeciles at all costs

And I’m still on constant pain a feel I am no better than when I first went there.Booked an Appointment on Friday 8th May for the 17th June 11:00 in Brentwood. That was the agreed time.Get an email this morning and they’ve changed the time to 08:50.May not sound like an issue but it would take 1hr 30 that time of the morning because of having to pass roughly 20 schools.

This service exists to push you to seek private treatment
This appears to be a service the NHS is outsourcing its physiotherapy to. I've recently undergone major abdominal surgery and was surprised that no physio was offered as a matter of course. Upon referral to Cora Health by my GP, I had to fill in an ineffectual, long assessment, which felt as if it were directing my responses through a very narrow band of options that did not fully apply to my situation. I was offered a telephone appointment 6 weeks down the line — absurd given the need to be seen to while the tissue was healing. Before I spoke to the person at Cora Health I had to fill in yet another questionnaire. Then, when I spoke to the staff member, I found they too were asking questions that repeated the questions I'd previously answered, and again all the questions were very inflexible, fitting a certain framework. I had to ask the staff member if she was aware I'd had surgery, cos the questions did not apply to my situation. It felt as though I were speaking to an AI agent rather than an experienced professional! In the end I was given only two options for treatment, both of which were classes taking place either immediately or the next day and were not easily accessible via public transport. There were no other options beyond those. I asked if she could send me exercises instead, which she did, but this will be unsupervised, which isn't helpful. All in all, it's clear this service exists to push you towards seeking private treatment. I'm appalled that people cannot access such an essential service.

I am not going to bore people with my actual problem with corahealth. However, I will advise anyone reading this to avoid using this company if possible. They are absolutely pathetic. They have no interest in patient care and wellbeing. They should not be used by the nations NHS. Everything I experienced with this company was extremely bad and below the service needed.

Taken over physiotherapy from the hospital
I was transferred to this physiotherapy service after the hospital handed over my care. I was told in writing, and by my doctor, that I would be contacted from 1st April, back in March — but I’ve heard nothing at all.
The phone number on the letter doesn’t work, and despite sending emails, I still haven’t received any reply. The service has definitely changed for the worse, and patients are being left without support.

stood up by cora
I was given a telephone appointment at 4:30 pm on a given date. I was never called. Instead, I received a text four hours beforehand to say that I would be contacted. Apparently that can be considered 'contact' by NHS. This is a scam on the taxpayer by crooks.

Disgusting customer service
Disgusting customer service. They sent me text on 17th April to book appointment which I received late as I was out of country. Text doesn't mention any deadlines to call. I called the number to book my appointment and they've said they discharged me because I didn't respond by first May. There was never any dates given. The staff on the phone couldn't care less. It's actually amazing that they hire people with such lack of empathy. I told him I was out of country and his response was "Well that's not our problem and that's not our fault". Imagine that kind of response received from staff for a healthcare service. Staggering to say the least. That's Mark from Basildon services (it showed as Basildon when I rang the number). I guess they just want to get people off the system so uses these dirty tactics. Utterly disgusting and disgraceful

Dreadful and dangerous
I am an 80 year old, very fit and healthy. After breaking my femur and being referred for physiotherapy to Cora Health by the hospital that operated on me, I waited two weeks to hear from them. I then had a brief phone call and an appointment was made for a more detailed call in six weeks time. On this call I was told there would be no hands-on treatment despite my request for this. Instead, I was offered a set of exercises which I would have had to have done without any guidance.
I am lucky and can afford private physiotherapy so am actually recovering well from my injury. If I had been forced down the Cora route I would probably be damaged for the rest of my life as recovery from a broken femur needs immediate and continual exercise and massage for the best outcome.

CoraHealth is yet another waste of NHS resources.
My wife had a fall in mid November 2025 and badly damaged her hamstring muscle. Our GP referred her to a MSK practioner. He recommended some exercises which made it worse. He then referred her to CoraHealth for an MRI scan. After waiting until January she had heard nothing from CoraHealth. She was in constant pain from the hamstring injury. She telephoned CoraHealth to find out when to expect her scan. She was told they had no idea when she would get her appointment and that they were only dealing with referrals from October 2025. They were totally dismissive and quite abusive. In late March 26 I told her to contact the private Huddersfield Hospital and arrange a private MRI scan. This was done on the 4th April 2026 - cost £480. The results of this scan was forwarded to the MSK specialist by our GP. My wife went back to see the MSK specialist who confirmed the hamstring was torn and would require an operation to repair it. He said he would her refer back to Huddersfield Hospital for treatment on the NHS and should expect an appointment letter shortly. After 3 weeks nothing arrived so she contacted Huddersfield Hospital who said they had received no referral. She then contacted our GP who looked into the matter. They confirmed that CoraHealth was responsible for the referral to Huddersfield Hospital and that my wife would have to contact them. She has done that and they have confirmed she is on a waiting list but can give no idea when she will be seen at Huddersfield Hospital.
We will now have to pay Huddersfield Hospital again to carry out the operation.
CoraHealth is clearly a totally useless organization that is taking millions of pounds from the NHS and not helping at all. We assume their waiting list is not classed as the NHS waiting list. A typical ploy by NHS bureaucrats and politicians to hoodwink us all they are improving the NHS!!!!!!!!!
