I arranged a new insurance policy for my practice. As a small practice, there were limited options. However, rather than be turned down, I was directed to a policy that meet my needs at a reasonable cost.

A potential query arose, which was quickly resolved.

I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by Croner-i.

I purchased their support believing that the policies and documents provided would be updated as cqc guidelines and suitable for a domiciliary care (home care) CQC application. During the sales video call I was assured that the policy templates would be appropriate for home care and that an expert would review all documentation before submission.

However, after submitting my application, the CQC rejected several documents and clearly stated that many policies were not fully completed or tailored to my organisation. Some even contained terminology for complex care or nursing services rather than domiciliary care. Important compliance areas such as safeguarding escalation, medicines procedures, and governance were also missing or unclear.

When I raised this issue with Croner-i, I expected them to investigate and resolve the matter. Instead, I have been repeatedly asked to send emails and evidence that they should already have on their system. The complaints process has been very slow, unclear, and extremely frustrating.

I proposed a reasonable settlement so we could close the matter amicably, but rather than resolving the issue they have continued to delay the process and even issued further invoices while the complaint is still under review.

This situation has caused me a significant amount of stress and has delayed my business progress. I simply wanted the service that was promised and a fair resolution when things went wrong.

I hope Croner-i will take responsibility and resolve this matter properly.

My updated review about Croner-i incompetence...

They said to me on phone that either I accept that they are freeing me from my useless contract two months earlier. I said yes i am happy to take this offer but what about the previous all those mobths i have paid for a service which was misleading and confused. The croner i solution team said to me, If I want refund or any goodwill payment then we can not free you from this contract and even no refund or good will payment.
They are blackmailing me, pressurized me to take this offer . I asked why dont you free me now and review the matter, but they said no if you want to open your case about previous months than we can not free you from this contract.I have requested via email that at least pause my contract untill tou review the video call was held between your company and me when we rolled in this contract.. no reply .. send many follow ups no reply. After a long time of wait I did publish the review and they reply back to my email instantly.

After submitting my application, the CQC rejected several documents, stating that they were incomplete, contained incorrect terminology, and omitted critical compliance requirements such as safeguarding escalation, medicines procedures, and governance clarity.
Despite multiple emails and follow-ups, Croner-i has failed to provide clear answers or proof that the policies were reviewed prior to submission. Florence stated she would review the original video call from when the contract started, but I never received any feedback on this review.
I attempted to resolve this amicably with a reasonable settlement proposal, but Croner-i refused to consider it and continues to delay communication. This has caused significant stress, disruption to my business, and additional costs to correct the policies.
I cannot recommend Croner-i for CQC support based on my experience, as the service promised was not delivered and the complaints process has been slow and unhelpful.
