I've used Derails for around 6 years and they've helped me build up a model railway from scratch to something quite significant.
With VERY few exceptions, everything on my model railway (both in terms of models and accessories) has been supplied by Derails. This has all come at a great price and with a welcome smile and cheery service, as I'm fortunate enough to live within walking distance of their shop in Coleford, in the Forest of Dean.
Sadly, recent ill health has stopped my regular visits to them but hopefully I'll be wending my way back to their door in the not too distant future.
I cannot fault their service and highly recommend Derails to the modeller, whether new or very experienced!

Having ordered the majority of my model railway products from Derails over the past few years, they continue to offer an excellent level of service. My two most recent orders were dealt with efficiently and I was kept fully informed throught the whole process from ordering to delivery.

A real pleasure to deal with. I have just received my Hornby 'Merchant Navy' and am over the moon with the way it was packed and the speed of delivery. Their pricing is second to none. Had another fantastic experience with Derails picking up a new engine from the shop, the whole team there always give a very helpful and friendly service, plus the communication emails are always written personally and not generic templates. Rerails were brilliant, even though they had a show on the Saturday to attend they still managed to get my loco tome by early Monday morning. The model was beautifully packed. So pleased I’ve ordered another loco and some rolling stock from them.So nice to deal with a small company that really cares.

Trustworthy friendly and efficient model shop. Staff friendly and helpful and order was received the next day on a Saturday with Royal Mail special delivery. Had the best price for the items I wanted and postage prices were good.

On the three occasions that I have used Derails, the service has been excellent. On this recent occasion, I ordered an in-stock item at midday on a Monday and received the package delivered by Royal Mail before midday the following day, Tuesday, less than 24 hours later! Thoroughly recommended and at good prices as well. Use Derails with confidence and possibly get free biscuits as well!!

Searching last on Friday night for some model train stuff, I saw that Derails had what I wanted in stock, and at a very good price. Ordered Saturday morning, expecting it to take a few days to arrive. Imagine my surprise when Monday morning, goods were delivered by Royal Mail.

this is possibly the best on line model rail shop in the country. Always excellent service and prices are always very competitive, The two Dans bend over backwards to help and nothing is too much trouble.
