Tracy Jagger who dealt with our recent booking for our forthcoming trip to the Siyam World resort in the Maldives was absolutely brilliant. Her attention to detail and knowledge were second to none. She was also very attentive and personable and her customer service skills were exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. Well done Tracy you are a credit to yourself and the company.

We booked an Explora journeys cruise through Dedtination 2 … the booking process was fine.
However there were some issues when we arrived in Athens,
The 24 hour emergency service is not worth calling they have no record of us actually calling them !
We moved from our pre cruise hotel as it wasn’t of a standard acceptable to us this then affected our transfer to the ship, We had to then make our own arrangements
No support from destination 2.
Our week long cruise on Explorer 2 was amazing … no issues
On our return we contacted customer service with regard to our pre cruise issues
What customer service !!!! Poor service
Not interested ….seem to want to blame the client and in fact are very dismissive of our experience
We appreciate it was our choice to move but there was no concern from Destination 2 regarding our disappointment
First and last time using this company
All is great as long as you don’t have any problems

I booked a last-minute hotel stay in Antalya, Turkey, through Destination 2 after finding them on a Trivago search.As a solo traveller, I was delighted to discover that Destination 2 was the only provider offering a standard hotel room at a single-occupancy rate. This made their deal more competitive than anything else I could find.Having never heard of Destination 2 before, I was initially a little sceptical, particularly given the excellent price, but I needn’t have worried! My booking confirmation, travel voucher and all relevant documents arrived promptly.Both check-in and check-out at my resort were completely seamless, with absolutely no issues.A fantastic experience from start to finish, excellent value for money and a hassle-free booking process. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Destination 2 again and would highly recommend them, particularly to fellow solo travellers!

Easy to use, loads of options

We holiday quite a lot, but over the years, we’d gradually stopped using travel agents and started booking our holidays ourselves. Unfortunately, we’d had too many disappointing experiences with different companies. It often felt as though we were simply booking a theatre ticket, with little knowledge of the destination, limited advice on flights and timings, and very little enthusiasm. In the end, we decided it was easier to do it ourselves.

A couple of friends recommended Destination2, so we thought we’d give them a call. I’m so glad we did!
That’s when we spoke to Shauna, and what a difference! From the outset, she was friendly, approachable and clearly very knowledgeable about what she does. She listened to what we wanted, understood what was important to us and offered genuinely useful advice, including alternative options we hadn’t considered.
We’re booking our dream holiday to the Maldives, so we wanted to feel confident that we were making the right choices. Shauna took the time to talk everything through with us, answer our questions and make sure we understood our options. Nothing felt rushed, and we never felt like just another booking.
What really stood out was her combination of knowledge, professionalism and genuine warmth. Her communication has been excellent throughout, and it’s been so reassuring to deal with someone who clearly enjoys what they do and takes pride in looking after their customers.
It might sound like a small thing, but having someone who listens, knows their subject and genuinely wants to help makes such a difference when planning a special holiday.
We’re absolutely delighted with our booking and can’t wait for the Maldives!
I’d happily recommend Destination2, but I’d especially say to look out for Shauna. She’s been fantastic, and the service we’ve received has genuinely changed our view of using a travel company again.
