We had good help from the team at Bridgend dogs trust from the very beginning to the end of the adoption process. They're advice and knowledge was first class together with their genuine concern for the dog .We would recommend them to anyone looking to adopt a dog.

Excellent service
I spoke to a young man called James yesterday at the call centre and he was so polite and kind, and explained the information about how to adopt in a clear manner. A lot of the times these days you have to do it all online but it made a nice change to speak to a friendly young man instead. If his manager wants to listen to the call it was at about 4:30 yesterday and he was wonderful.

We were very impressed
We were very impressed with the whole experience of adopting a dog from the Dogs Trust( Gabi, a nervous but beautiful Springer Spaniel). The staff were very welcoming and friendly.
She has settled down in our home, loves playing ball in the garden, sleeping on the sofa and spending the night on my bed ! Perfect. She still is anxious about sudden noises but is getting used to walking up our quiet road on the lead.

A Good Experience
The meet and dog handover was all extremely well handled by the lovely staff and Salisbury Centre. Ghost is a lovely, loving and friendly dog except when he meets other dogs, but we shall manage that eventually. I hope to talk to the behaviour Team soon. This would have been a five star review had it not been for the fact that the contact telephone number advertised in the handover folder is constantly engaged and that I found the post adoption surveys unnecessarily personally intrusive. However, I understand that there is another number which we shall try soon.

Outstanding Customer Care
I spoke with Libby this afternoon who was polite, patient, kind and incredibly attentive in ensuring all of my questions regarding the process of rehoming were answered. Her empathy and consideration was greatly appreciated and her telephone manner was incredibly reassuring during a very stressful and emotion time for myself. The work the teams at Dogs Trust continue to do is an absolute credit and I trust them inexplicably with the adoption service and care they provide.

Such an Excellent Experience for Both Humans and Dogs!
From start to finish the process was excellent and the staff superb. We have had a few rescue dogs before from Evesham and Kenilworth but not for 12 years...the whole system has been upgraded with the welfare of the dogs and suitability of the adopters at the forefront. The team at Sadberg were incredible
The team at Sadberg were incredible. They knew Rocky (Jack) so well. When I landed on a Saturday, a fantastic staff member on the desk was happy to listen to me ramble on about a dog I'd seen on their website page and the kind of boy I wanted. After that chat, Rocky's first reserve pulled out and we received the call! I didn't want to rush anything, the dogs trust supported me on that and I was allowed to bond at my pace too. When I turned up unannounced, nobody complained, they allowed us (Rocky and I) time to bond. Which we did. When I felt ready to proceed, the process was so easy. Caitlin, Rocky's behaviourist was incredible for the support and advice offered. I adore my boy. We are early stages but he is doing so well. Thank you to the dogs trust.

Maddy and Marc at Shoreham didn’t help us when…
Maddy at Shoreham didn’t help us when we asked for help nor did Marc the other behaviour specialist there in fact if they had helped maybe we wouldn’t have had to hand our dog back to them which broke our hearts to have to do, which was Dogs Trusts fault for not helping support us with the problem we had no support from her or him whatsoever! They emailed me a leaflet to look through no one on one help or anything? Didn’t even reach out to me and ask if they could help in anyway? Even after emails sent to them explaining we desperately needed help they both didn’t care. I won’t ever be using dogs trust again, I feel they failed us on a major level and seeing the other one star reviews on here i know i’m not alone! Once you take the dog they just don’t care after that you will get no help even if you ask for it. They also got £300 off me for a dog we only had for 4 months well that was a big donation I gave them!
I am seriously thinking of putting in a formal complaint to their head office as they say they care about dogs well thats a joke!
