This company is terrible, absolutely trash. I bought the same brake pad twice, and both of them are used. So the brake pad on my 2017 gle350 are getting old, so I went to ECS tuning to get some Zimmermann OEM brake pads.When the first one was delivered, the box had tapes all over it and in the inside, there are nothing but used brake pads. On the brake pads, there are scratches all over the back and front of it, and on the clips there scratches all over it too, all of these are symbols of the items been put on and used before. So in the beginning, I thought it's just a one time thing, but as I return the first one, and buy the exact same item and same website, trying to give them another chance and believing that it's going to be better this time. By as a result, it's NOT. The second time is even worst, especially on the brake pad, this one you not only can see it been put on before, you can CLEARLY see it USED before on a car. I'm not usually a person who say something bad and writing all these, but this company is so trash and terrible to where I can't just stay quiet, like Is this how you guys treat your customers. It absolutely wasting my time, energy and money to buy and return the item. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY NOT ACCEPTABLE!!

I have never had a problem with any of many orders from ECS Tuning or their products. Customer service has always been top notch.

I had ordered a new set of wheels for my E39. The wheels were ordered as a set and actually arrived earlier than their projected ship date but when I checked the order, I found they had shipped 1 incorrect wheel, pain in the ass, since I’m in Canada. I was able, after several emails, to establish a contact in customer service who was very helpful in getting to the bottom of the error. Ashley Angle in customer service was very prompt in answering my emails and after several back and forth messages, she provided me with the necessary paper work and return weigh bill to send back the incorrect wheel. My only concern was that I would have to pay the duty and tax on the replacement wheel which I did in order to make sure it would clear customs. I have not heard back yet from ECS regarding the additional charges I paid. I fully understand that they ship thousands of items and there will be errors but when you’re shipping internationally, their shipping department must do a better job in insuring that the order is 100% correct. The problem began when I contacted the salesman who was responsible for my order, but when I contacted him with the issue of the incorrect wheel, I was told to contact customer service. Then the 3 ring circus began. I have ordered parts from ECS before with no issues.

ECS got back to me and made this right. They found the error and reimbursed my shipping costs!

Ordered front suspension for a BMW. Worked with their expert who put the package together. Then I checked their website to make sure the parts were right. Got the "thumbs up." Parts were for a different model year and chasis. I had to go to the suspension manufacturer's web site to figure it out. Asked for a return and documented the error by the ECS expert and the incorrect parts on the website. They want me to pay the shipping for the return of a heavy package. Kept asking the same questions about the car trying to show it was my error. Said I didn't specify the model - I gave them the VIN! -BMW 325i - that's the model, they don't even know about how BMW names its cars. Gave up and shipped it back on my dime. Might as well go to ebay they at least back up

Boycott ECS Tuning!, You have been warned…I purchased tons of stuff from ECS Tuning, receipts are below and these are only a few, they are not honoring the free Lifetime Replacement..Buyer Beware, Stay Away, Please Read!!! They are now saying that lifetime replacement parts are not able to be refunded after buying the replacement at full cost but rather a credit towards future purchases, this is a monopoly and a SCAM! I purchased from them for years and they will not honor their commitment! Stay away from these guys, you’ve been warned, this is a scam!!!

Bought parts one time, ended up with a BS 25$ a month subscription that has no legitimate website attached to it. the parts are fine, but this business practice is not. I'll be purchasing elsewhere in the future

Part selection is great but customer service is horrible. I ordered a RacingLine Intake that did not come with the clamps …CS asked to see a photo of them??? I told them I can’t show them a picture of something that doesn’t exist. They never replaced the issue.

I placed an order for 4 wheels made out of Germany for $2K. They told me @ time of sale, they were built out of Coopertino, Calif. After sale, they said they would ship in about 9 days from Germany! This outfit is shady as f#ck! Steer clear of them. Internet pirates in every sense of the word. I should have went with Discount Tire, or Tire Rack...these guys are terrible...

If I could give it zero stars I would. I handed over $590.08 for an oil filter housing, oil filter, cooling fans, OBDeleven and some other smaller things such as tools and oil. The order was made at night and by the next afternoon everything was shipped out. Timing on the original order was great. Ordered on 4/28 and received package on 5/1. However the OIL FILTER was missing. Included in the package was a packing slip stating the contents of the package. So I called ECS as soon as I opened the box. They stated, “yea, we will get one sent out to you.” This was on 5/1. As of today, 5/5, I called them to see if they can expedite the shipping as this was not my error. The individual stated there is nothing they can do. So now having fixed my car, I can’t even start it for 4 more days. Horrible customer service. I’ll take my money elsewhere.

I’ve had zero issues with ECS in the past 10 years. Doing a little bit of my own research helps avoid ordering errors, however, they’ve been helpful both on the phone and online whenever I’ve had questions or need to return something. Availability of parts and pricing is better than most other retailers and their lifetime warranty is top notch.

They lie about the shipping date, first and last time ordering from them.

I've always bought parts for my 08 audi a4 from ecs tuning due to the consistency of them fitting perfectly. They have anything I need to upgrade, replace, and or repair for my vehicle. They also have an amazing customer service that I'll help in anyway possible.

I went to the ECS facility and had my Audi S8 tuned with the APR Sage 1 tune. Nelson walked me through the tune options to determine which performance upgrades best worked for me. 40 minutes later they were done and he walked me through the procedure for selecting the modes I would be able to use. Great service! Great price too on the mod. I’ve ordered from ECS over the last few years and have always been thoroughly happy with the process and the products. Excellent work!

Got the technical advice I needed (a clear explanation regarding my specific application).

This has to be the most horrifying experience ever ordering anything on line. ESC Tuning is a. Highly dishonest company! I ordered a part that I desperately needed overnight. I paid $82 for overnight shipping, after having to create at PayPal acct that I didn’t want, but I desperately needed the part overnight to make it a crucial (life or death) medical appointment for a procedure that I waited a very long time to recieve. Needless to say, after all the trouble to pay $82 for an overnight delivery, they shipped the part and not only was it not shipped for overnight, but an entire week later. When I called and explained my complete situation, they could not have cared any less!! I have never in my life experience anything so unprofessional and with such lack of accountability and integrity! PLEASE, PLEASE stay away from this circus of an auto parts store. RUN! They apparently are also notorious for shipping wrong parts!!
Needless to say I missed my procedure… and because of the far distance no Uber or Lyft service was an option.

Didn't send me order email, order not listed in account, customer service ignores me, and refuses to solve the problem. Take your business elsewhere as their competition does not treat customers this way.

Prior to placing my order, I was emailing with one of the Sales reps to clarify some details on one of the items. After several days (which should have taken 5 minutes), he ultimately confirmed the details. Unfortunately upon receipt, the item was in fact not what I ordered. I contacted ECS to advise of the issue & asked them to once again confirm if they carried the exact item I was looking for. Similar to the initial request, I should have received confirmation within 5 minutes but after 4 days & at the time of this review I have yet to receive the courtesy of a response. Secondly, I placed two separate orders, both of which had the wrong state sales tax rate applied. I have contacted them four separate times over the course of a week & still awaiting for the issue to be corrected. I will likely look elsewhere for any future parts. They have been nothing but frustrating to deal with & not worth my time.

Ordered a part with expedited shipping that was deemed compatible for my vehicle. Once part was received, we realized it was not compatible and upon reaching out to customer service they confirmed it is not for my vehicle even though it was listed on their product page. They refused to refund the shipping for the order as it was still shipped within the guaranteed timeframe.

I recommend making sure parts are compatible elsewhere before purchasing anything and beware of the poor customer service.

I went to ECS (virtually) to get brakes for my wife's 2018 Audi Q5. I worked with a nice CS agent, gave him the car's VIN to look up parts which happened rather quickly. ECS shipped the parts which arrived roughly a week later 'YAY CAN INSTALL BRAKES!".

So after de-rotoring, padding and having the car up in the air I noticed that the rotors were a different diameter than on the car. This was not good! I called ECS and reported an issue and asked them to help correct the problem. The first CS agent no help. The second no help either. Skipping forward I talked to via chat and phone, six customer service agents. Finally I asked to speak to their manager "Melissa". Bottomline, ECS will not earn up to their error. The WILL NOT initiate an RMA and WILL NOT cover the return shipping ....if this isn't bad enough they want the customer to absorb the original shipping cost refunding $100 less than the original purchase price.

Folks, these guys aren't legit. They are running a scam whereby they make their money on shipping incorrect parts and only refunding a portion of the payment. Now if it was my error on ordering incorrect parts, I can kinda understand. Here ECS did the look up, specified the parts and represented that they were correct via VIN number.
