Good solar product but appalling customer service once they are fitted
Very poor customer service… because it takes so long to get issues resolved (there have been many) it is easy to drift past the 1 year mark. This is important because after that point it’s about £195 per call-out to get things fixed. They do refund this but they alone decide if it’s their fault. They also seem to act as though they only install… taking no responsibility for what they’ve installed.
We’ve had countless problems, most to do with a rushed install 2 years ago. Dealing with customer services is a deeply frustrating experience. Understaffed and everyone hiding behind systems and other departments. Our latest issue to do with our batteries is 2 months old and counting.

Keep spamming me with texts and the unsubscribe is a link to website, which doesn’t apparently unsubscribe you as I am still getting them. And they hide their number so you can’t block them.
Wondered where they got my details from and remembered it was a Solar Together quote through Kent County Council a few years ago. Despite being told you’d get a survey within a few weeks of paying a deposit, after months of waiting and ignoring us and constant ‘it’ll be very soon’ emails….I demanded they refund the deposit as it became clear they were a shambles. This prompted a survey being available within days! I still demanded a refund. Went with a local installer who provided a much higher spec system (EEC were quoting for lowest grade, lowest quality products) quickly and professionally, for basically the same price anyway.

With regards to when you had joined the council scheme, this was back in 2020, we were due to install a large council contract but unfortunately, like many things in 2020, everything changed dramatically. We liaised with the scheme with updated information as to what was happening every step of the way.
We have been in the Renewables industry for over 13 years and have never been known for using budget products and never will. We spend a lot of time finding the right products with the best efficiencies and the best guarantees and warranties on the market.
Again apologies for your experience but we always take any feedback on board helping us move forward as a company.

Fantastic service from the company. Eoin providing great detailed information and there is no pressure sales at all.
The team go through everything with you including the guarantee as well as ensuring you are happy with everything before the installation takes place and after installation.
The engineers keep everything tidy and they clear up after themselves, there is also an aftercare with the company, should you have any questions or change your router, the team are just a phone call away.
You can monitor the battery and solar information from an easy Apple or Android app.
I honestly recommend this company to anyone wishing to save money on their household bills

An exceptional level of service…
An exceptional level of service throughout. Lewis Williams carried out a site survey during which he very clearly explained the options available, and following which he was always very quick to respond to queries, but never pushy. The installers arrived at the agreed time, the installation was much quicker than I had anticipated, and the installation and commissioning was completed with a clear explanation of the system operation.
All the Staff from EEC are Professional, Knowledgeable, helpful and expert. All the way from site survey to completed installation are very professional service. All the way Excellent communication from office staff, to Tim Hillman Project manager. and everything happened as planned and in a highly professional and friendly manner. Very impressive clean and tidy job they did and very high standard finish
Honestly Can’t thank these guys enough for our solar panel and complete installation including wiring and battery. Definitely would highly recommend EEC Solar for solar panels and complete installations.

We used EEC Solar to install our Solar Panels 12 years ago. This was a great experience from the company. Now that batteries have become available it was a no brainer to have them fitted. Again on contacting EEC Solar ( Craig Ball) we were given good advice and had another great experience having them fitted. All seems well and looks as if we are saving money on our electric use already. I would recommend this company for honest advice and workmanship. On ordering either system a small deposit was payable with the remainder due after work was complete and we were satisfied. Great company to deal with. Been around a good number of years now unlike some.

EEC SOLAR engineer, saved the day
plus: Craig (the engineer) turned up and replaced my faulty inverter (under warantee), he was very professional and gave me great advice about my new inverter and how it works and options of installing a battery hybrid system.
Also the customer service team, were very responsive from the day a reported the fault, and managed to replace my inverter in no time at all..thanks
minus: EEC solar charged me £195 (engineer labour charge) to replace an inverter that is under warantee, i thought that was a quite expensive. should be no more than £50

Excellent advice, service and support from 1st contact tomcompleted install
From my initail enquiry 1st quote and subsequent final quote after lots of questions that were answered clearly and precise to job complete. Evety step well communicated and explained. I had several quotes but the customer service and attention to detail from EEC was excellent.
This continued through the install, the electrician found a route for the cabling that is unobtrusive and the PV panel installers tweaked the layout that improved pervormance. Excellent service all arounf

My wife and I approached introducing solar panels to our domestic arrangements very cautiously. Roughly £1000 per panel including all the gubbins was a big outlay for us and it rains a lot in the North West.
EEC Solar recogfnised and respected our caution at every stage of the process. Providing relevant information, explaining the technicalities in a straightforward understandable manner. We were presented with alternatives but at the same time tailoring a system for our exact needs and explaining why they were making their recommendations clearly.
So preparation was brilliant.
Execution could not have been more efficient. Peter and his support turned up in the morning answered all questions, worked steadily and the panels were on by the afternoon. Andrew, the electrician, turned up on time and sorted out a glitch in where the batteries were going and worked until the evening to ensure the whole installation was up and runnng smoothly.
We are very proud to be doing our bit for ourselves and the climate with the help of EEC Solar. And they are on the end of a phone with advice at any time because your system can be monitored from their office.

Very annoying
Very annoying - they keep sending text messages on a daily basis for a while, and I unsubscribed several times, but they still keep sending. And you cannot block them because the phone does not have their number. Moreover, it is unclear which EEC company they represent. So, I filled the form as if I am interested, they sent me their real name and now I will call them demanding to unsubscribe and stop pestering me
I believe the manager called me once when I was on the meeting, but that's all. Anyway, don't think you should bother with them, there are better firms around

Having had a solar system installed 8 months ago, there developed a fault, where the battery bank kept tripping out.
Craig, their electrician visited us to sort the fault. Very quickly, he identified the problem, which was a faulty lead supplied by the manufacturer, swapped it, tested it and job done! Very happy customer.
