I had an issue with my solar system…
I had an issue with my solar system that had been installed by EEC. I spoke to them over the phone and tried to reboot the batteries. Once it became apparent that the suggested fix wasn't working they sent out an engineer to get it working. The breaker switch had failed which was quickly resolved by their electrician Craig Ball. Craig was incredibly efficient, explained the problem and the solution. He also left the house with no trace that he'd been there, taking away any rubbish and mess. In short Craig did an excellent job, was a credit to the business and I'd happily recommend him and this supplier to anyone. Five stars all round for both EEC's after sales service and Craig Ball for his thorough investigation and care. Thanks.

Good workmanship and no problems
It has taken me six months to get round to this as I am not generally someone who leaves reviews. Had a 16 panel system fitted with battery storage in January this year. Overall very pleased with what was done. Surveyor said batteries would go in loft but electrician said they need to be in garage. Did not matter, awkward to get wires from loft to garage but the electrician did an excellent job feeding them through so that they are not even obvious. System took a couple of days to fit and on those rare days when the sun shines, works very well. So far I estimate at least a 50% reduction in electricity cost. Overall I would thoroughly recommend EEC .

Craig came to renew a faulty inverter which was under warranty . From start to finish Craig did a professional job , polite and cleaned up after , he even had time to go guide me through the system , also thanks to the admin team

Good installation work
The installation of this system was done efficiently and on time by a team of 3 who all seemed competent in their work. Their instructions seemed sketchy e.g. to use a tower where the area was not wide enough. There was a delay in starting the work because of getting permission from the NDA. This was not what I expected. The sales force and the admin staff kept in contact with us

EEC fast and reliable
EEC did my original solar panel installation seven years ago. I asked EEC for a survey of the site for storage batteries to be added, on a Tuesday. Following an initial quotation, I arranged for a survey, which happened the same Tuesday afternoon. I followed this up by a firm order and the battery system was successfully installed the following Monday. The final part of the process was to show me how to monitor battery system performance. Altogether, it was a speedy and satisfactory experience.

Knowledgeable and Professional
Right from the beginning the process of expected outputs and all technicalities were properly explained to us that made less worried as we were making a big investment on the solar Panel Energy (total of 81 panels) , The Salesman also explained to us about installation process and the timelines. Solar Panels installers were very good and polite at their job and the electrician in particular who connected the system was very helpful ,knowledgeable and a problem solver, he connected who the whole system efficiently plus the fact the EEC office was in constant touch with the progress report . The actual implementation itself and commissioning was completed within a week and got us up and running successfully. We now monitor the system on the APP including the output from each solar panel individually.

EEC installed 46 Solar Panels at our church. Through the whole process from initial enquiry to completion of installation they have been very professional, answered all our questions in a helpful manner ensuring we understood and were satisfied with the information provided. Installation was done on agreed dates and staff working on our premises were very professional, worked with us to ensure our building users were not disturbed or inconvenienced and the premises were left clean and tidy. They also ensured we understood the equipment left and carefully took us through what we needed to do and to understand.

Positive throughout
While I ultimately did not proceed with the system offered by the organisation I found their proposal to be very thorough with excellent communication throughout the process. Technically all of my questions were answered clearly and a number of issues with the overall system design were highlighted that ultimately had not been catered for in other proposals. System Fault? Complain Here for Prompt Action
My EEC Solar SolaX battery installation was done professionally, but they stopped working within 2 years, while still under warranty. It took 18 months to get the system back to half capacity, and a further 5 months for the faulty unit to be replaced and the system working as it should.
Posting on Trustpilot was one of my final frustrated steps, and action followed promptly afterwards. I wish I had complained here sooner!
In large part, delays were due to SolaX not accepting that the inverter was at fault, and repeatedly requesting a fix with a "firmware update".

I found EEC solar to to be totally professional.
I found EEC solar to to be totally professional in every aspect of my dealings with them. From the initial telephone conversations to implementation and final handover I was listened to and not rushed into making decisions. Initially the scaffolders were very polite and completed their erection work in a neat and timely fashion. The installers arrived on time and completed the installation within the time they quoted. All questions were answered to my satisfaction and John, the electrician, proved to be very knowledgeable about the eecsolar product and its application. When I was unable to make a decision regarding the location of the panels and switchgear I was put under no pressure and assisted in finalizing my choices. Although I kept asking for clarification John worked tirelessly for nearly 11 hours to finish and fully commission the installation whilst remaining good humored.
From my experience I would fully recommend EEC home Improvements to carry out a solar panel supply and installation.

Go with EEC - from the beginning to end of the process they have been fantastic! My first interaction was with Kevin who has been working for EEC circa 30 years. He is not hard sell, instead he listens to the customer and suggests the best fit option. On the day of installation, the guys were brilliant - friendly, efficient and hardworking. Nathan the electrician stayed until quite late in the day to make sure the job was completed. We are thrilled with the outcome and have not drawn from the grid given the volume of sunshine at the moment. This is a company that has a lot of experience and expertise. They won’t disappoint you!
