Wiltshire Councils Solar Together Scheme.
I was put in contact with this company through Wiltshire Councils Solar Together Scheme. I have found that EE Renewables to be a excellent company to deal with. The surveyor who came to survey the our property and the 3 engineers who installed the solar panel system were all very professional and friendly. They offered me very good advice and did a excellent job.Also the office were very knowledgeable and helpful. A very happy customer.

Solar panel and battery installation on rental property
From the initial estimate of cost to the completion of the work, EE Renewables were professional,efficient and friendly. The tenants were impressed with the ease of installation and the fact that everything was cleaned up after job finished.
All documents have already been sent to me as the property owner so from initial contact to completion approximately eight weeks.

iboost sender and buddy signal issue
Doug arrived in good time and set about testing the system and fault finding my iboost sender and buddy having lost signal with the main unit in the loft.
The issue was resolved in under an hour and the system left fully functional, with enough time to have a brief chat about gaming!
No hesitation in recommending EE Renewables if you’ve got a fault and need a reliable friendly service!

After contacting EE regarding a quote…
After contacting EE regarding a quote for Installing Solar Panels and Battery, we found the communication excellent. Every part of the journey was laid out with specific dates. Dates for surveyor attending our property, scaffolding company, and installation team. The surveyor was excellent, checking our property and the route of cables to the location of the Battery and Invertor.
The scaffolders had a minor glitch, a day late due to illness, but that is life, when the team arrived they were fabulous (Square I believe). The Installation team were equally excellent and completed the task far quicker that I had expected.
This is where I drop the score slightly. The system fitted on a Tuesday, but the app was apparently being updated, so we could not go through a proper live demonstration of how the app worked. A bit disappointing as new technology does need adequate explanation, especially to a 71 year old. Then a bit more of a negative, the following day the app started working and we could see that the Solar was not actually charging to battery or enabling power we used to come from either solar or battery. When EE were contacted, they could only send someone out the following Monday. This left us with 5-6 days of lost reduction in the cost of energy, and it was hot and sunny, making the situation worse.
On the following Monday an installer turned up as promised, when I explained the situation, he immediately put his hand under the inverter and flick a power switch on. The system came to life and worked from that day. A few points, the lights were on both battery and inverter. The power was on for the solar, but I would never have thought of looking under the inverter to see a switch, which needs to be on for the solar and battery to work.
From my point of view, when a company delivers items to a property for installation, they should take away the packaging. The polystyrene in the two boxes will take me 9 weeks to get rid of due to our bin collection taking place every three weeks.
After the Monday the scaffolder team attended, in fact two teams, so that they could remove the items quickly. They were excellent again.
Whilst we believe EE Renewables to be excellent, and the people that we have dealt with across the various areas have been impressive in their help and advice. the app failure, the solar not turned on and the packaging being left means a reduction in score.
This should not in my opinion put people off, they are a company and people that I have trust in, and would recommend to anyone wishing to take the solar journey.
If you go ahead, make sure all the switches that should be on are in fact on, and that you understand where those switches are.
Lastly we have had numerous teams of people attend our house over 48 years, and it is fair to say that EE Renewables have been the best, and that says something. Thanks all, have kept names out for personal privacy reasons, but you know who you are.

Excellent Solar Installation and Outstanding Customer Service.
I recently had a solar PV system installed by EE Renewables, and from start to finish the experience was excellent.
Dave, the electrician, carried out the electrical installation. He was professional, friendly, and clearly took pride in his work. Everything was completed to a high standard.
Bobby, who installed the solar panels, was also very pleasant and hardworking. The installation was completed within the agreed timescale, and the workmanship was excellent.
The communication from the office team, especially Hollie and Stacie, was outstanding. They were always quick to respond to any questions and kept me informed throughout the process.
I would also like to thank Dave, the solar designer, who was extremely knowledgeable and patient when answering my technical questions. The survey report was particularly impressive, with a level of detail that gave me real confidence in the design and installation.
Overall, I am very pleased with the quality of the installation and the customer service provided by everyone at EE Renewables. I would happily recommend them to anyone considering solar.
As constructive feedback, I think the service could be improved even further by explaining the expected battery capacity after the 10-year warranty period, so customers have a clearer understanding of long-term performance. It would also be helpful to explain that, after installation, there may be a brief draw from the grid when high-power appliances such as an electric hob or cooker are switched on before the inverter responds. Knowing that this is normal and only amounts to a few pence of electricity would help set expectations and avoid unnecessary concern.

Needed some roof repairs done and EE Renewables removed solar panels, cleaned, replaced, fitted new mesh, updated and moved inverter. Great job done by Doug - everything back in working order and all looking sparkly and new.
