Dissatisfied
I am challenging the certificate because my roof insulation was rated as poor in spite of the entire roof being fully insulated to the required standards at the time (2014).
I asked the inspector if he wanted to know about the insulation, but on hearing that I didn't have a certificate, he wasn't interested.
He obviously didn't take the time to open the door to access the eave space which would have clearly shown the profile of both the vertical and sloping wall insulation boards.
Since when does a piece of paper replace what the naked eye can see?

Avoid at all cost
Avoid at all cost! It’s basically a middle man, who don’t answer the phone, or emails, try to fleece you for “late cancellation” charge (always send an email to prove you tried to contact them!!) and have contracts with companies delivering questionable quality. I ordered a landlord pack with EPC , gas certificate and EICR thinking it’s one appointment and a one stop shop. Would have been cheaper and faster had I contacted individual companies myself. Chasing tradespeople, appointments and reports. Just awful all around. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Efficient company let down by assessor they employed
The admin people making arrangements were fine but the assessor used was not very pleasant. He grumbled about the fact my husband asked him for ID, commented that we should have kept an oil boiler. We replaced it with an expensive electric boiler that was top of the range for economy 18 months ago as oil is being phased out. He missed the immersion heater at first and put in the report that we should insulate it when we had already insulated it with a recommended 80 mm padded cover approx 12 months ago. He also said the energy bills would cost more than twice as much as they do and suggested underfloor insulation when we have solid floors! Perhaps the company should take a little more care to vet those they employ. Unfortunately our assessment was not a pleasant experience.

Quick service, thorough, professional
The first thing that stood out for me was the cost of the service. Then from the easy online booking to be contact and visited by the engineer was excellent and very quick. The engineer was professional and polite and provided us with all the info needed. I would highly recommend their service and have also passed on to friends and family as well as my broker.
