We went to EYG as we believe they are the best overall in this area and we’re not disappointed. From the sales guy to the teams who fitted both the replacement windows and replacement conservatory were brilliant. The fitting lads worked well and tidy keeping the expected mess down. Some snagging at the end, again to be expected but the maintenance manager was very helpful, thorough and efficient. The snagging, which is why we give the 4 stars, was mainly due to product rather than fitting. We went for the tiled roof in the conservatory replacing the old polycarbonate one and again another good choice, the conservatory now looks part of the house and not an add on and the warmth is now far superior even in cold weather.

Asked to pay upfront all the cost of my kitchen window, never had this with any other company, red flag

Paul, the sales rep, was very helpful & patient with us, as we strove to make important decisions concerning designs, colours & glazing. The fitters, Danny & Peanut, were brilliant... Very efficient, kept us informed throughout & delivered a first class installation. We are delighted with our new windows & doors ...& so pleased we chose EYG.

Recently had EYG come out to do some work for us after using them several times before and I have to say I regret that decision and would warn others to look elsewhere before going to EYG. Told things were happening on certain days only to sit in all day on two occasions without anyone turning up. Scaffolders turned up unannounced and proceeded to take scaffolding down without knocking on the door when anyone could have been using the bathroom. Scarborough branch quite rude made accusations apportioning blame towards us as the customer. We were told we weren't inconvenienced and that they don't know what our problem was and were not listened to but rather talked over. After probably spending over £10,000 to £12,000 over the years to try and be loyal and support a local company I thought there would of been a view of being a valued customer but obviously not. EYG don't value returning customers it seems and wont be getting any further business from us. I hope the directors of the business see this review and look into it further as the customer service received is shocking.

Basically it was Neil ... no issue too big .. no problen too small. Complex installations come with complex problems ... Neil solved them all ... and with a smile.

I have a fairly large house all my windows and doors are EYG or existing double glazed have been replaced with EYG products. They are good. BUT BE WARNED! once they have your number there is no getting away from them. Call after call to my mobile every time the caller assures me they will remove my number but to no avail. I am FED UP with them they just won't go away! This has been going on for years.

Are new conservatory is first class thanks to Kev,Al,Graham, Lloyd and the electrician for a brilliant job. Great experience from John in sales to end product thank you for everyone involved.

Just had a new conservatory built by EYG. The product is excellent and the two gents that erected it were very clean tidy and considerate. A fabulous job done.

Great work done by John G and apprentice Adrian fitting lintels prior to door and windows fitted. Impressed with John G tutoring Adrian on the work in progress. Cleaned up all mess before leaving.

Had all my doors and windows replaced and cannot believe the difference. The fitters were exceptional and left no mess. Done to a very high standard. You should be proud to have them on your team.

We had new gutters and facias installed. The two EYG staff who did the work - Andy and Katy were very friendly and helpful. They cared about the work and helped through the works. We had snow and high winds so things took a little longer but we were told what was happening at all stages. We are happy with the finished job.

We decided to convert the conservatory to a hybrid roof for 3 reasons;
The poor quality of the roof by the original firm.
The room needed excessive heating in the winter.
Temperatures in excess of 55°c in the summer with all doors and widows open.
The construction crew were efficient, professional skilled and tidy. Cleaning up after themselves at the end of the job. The plasterers finish was exceptionally good. We noticed a marked improvement in the temperature in February and haven't had to have the calor gas fire on so far.
The jury is out on summer temperatures
Expensive but we'll pleased with the results so far and turned our conservatory into a room.

Customer updates of progression

I had a quote for a window of this company about 14 years ago, I didn’t buy the product Si thought that would be it, but no on a yearly basis they phone asking me if I need any new widows. Every year I tell them I don’t live in the area anymore and remove me from their system, but no they keep calling. Under gdpr they shouldn’t have my number but they don’t care or adhere to the rules. If they can follow a simple rule I’d hate to think what they would be like at fitting widows.

Hi, l have just had my windows replaced this week by EYG. From start to finish I was very impressed with the service I received. The salesperson, telephone conversations,and the fitters were all first class.The fitters cracked on with no breaks, they were top notch. Windows out, new ones in, very impressive. Very professional, polite , friendly and most of all very respectful of property inside and out. I would definitely recommend EYG. Thank you to all involved.

We were delighted with the doors and windows which your engineers installed in our house last week. They came on time, and did not stop working the whole time they were with us. They were polite and very careful in the area they were working in. Their attention to detail was impressive. The end product was absolutely perfect, and we consider the whole exercise very good value for money.

We have used EYG several times now and always had excellent results. We had an old tired conservatory and it was in need of replacing. It is a large base and we were happy with the price quoted for the replacement compared to repairing the old one. The electrician called the day before commencement and decommissioned the electrics and removed the old fan light. The two fitters arrived early Monday morning and started to remove the old conservatory. They worked hard in the very cold temperatures in February, and we kept them topped up with mugs of tea. By the Thursday they only had some tidying up to do and finishing off the rainwater gutters and downpipes. We are very happy with our new conservatory and once we get some new furniture we will be utilising it especially in the summer. Cannot thank EYG enough for a job well done, and 10 out of 10 for the fitters.

Good hard working fitters always courteous and helpful

The fitter Josh and his assistant arrived at a pre advised time. They told us what window/door they were going to do. They cleaned up well each day. We are very happy with the install and product.
