One hour and a half to go…. They cancelled!
I made an order and the order was confirmed the same day. This was four days before the delivery date.
One and a half hours prior to delivery they called to inform the order could not be fulfilled as requested, I needed to pick up directly from the restaurant. Needless to say no emails, no other calls prior. At this point I was getting ready to host 25 persons so I did not have the time to go get the food. They suggested I used an alternative restaurant but provided no assistance and also no compensation (maybe free delivery? For the trouble?)
I ended up cancelling the order.
I suggest instead of using this app making the request directly with the restaurants.

Fresh Healthy Catering Option Our Team Loves
Food was delicious but they kind of just placed the food on the table and left fast without setting up, so that was the only thing. But other than that everything was wonderful. Food was super fresh and yummy, had a variety of team and lemonade options, and they even got our food here earlier than expected which was lovely. We ordered buffet style steak and chicken chimichurri over quinoa and had a variety of sides that hit the spot. If your team is on the healthier side, this place is a great option to utilize.

Locked me out of my account as a consumer with zero explanation
Update- I received and call and email from Robin. She apologized for my experience and said my account should never have been locked in the first place. They investigating how this happened to ensure it doesn't happen to anyone else. We had a very candid and honest conversation and it was this communication with the EzCater that leads me to believe that my instance was a 1 off.
I'm unsure what my next step should be. I've sent two emails and made several phone calls regarding my account, which has been locked, yet I have not received any explanation. The only response I've been given is that "a supervisor will call you back within 24 hours if they choose to." Unfortunately, that callback has never come.
By way of background, I spent many years managing catering operations for large-scale events and festivals before retiring to start my own catering company and become a partner in a small café. Recently, I came out of retirement to manage catering operations for the UFC 250 Freedom event in Washington, DC.
During the event, your team was incredibly helpful as we worked through issues with company credit cards. However, I was surprised when two catering orders were canceled by Jessica C., including one that was scheduled for pickup within the hour. While we moved past that immediate challenge, I have been unable to get any explanation or assistance regarding my account since then.
My greater concern is the lack of communication. Many colleagues in the event industry use EZCater based on my recommendation. The possibility that orders could be canceled without warning, followed by an inability to reach anyone for answers, is concerning—not only for me but for others who rely on your service for time-sensitive events.
Ironically, we had planned to enroll our diner as an EZCater partner to help grow our local catering business. Instead, I've discovered that my account no longer allows me to view receipts, redeem rewards points, or place catering orders, although I am still able to send referral invitations. This leaves me uncertain about the status of my account and what occurred.
Throughout my career, I've operated with the philosophy of viewing every situation "from the guest's perspective." That's one of the reasons I've consistently recommended EZCater—I believed we shared that commitment to customer experience.
I would sincerely appreciate a phone call or email explaining what has happened with my account and how we can move forward. Thank you for your time, and I look forward to hearing from someone soon.

NO SHOW....NO BREAKFAST
I ordered breakfast for 50 people through EZ Cater. I received an email confirming the order, followed by a second confirmation that the restaurant had acknowledged the delivery date and time. Despite both confirmations, nothing ever arrived. After waiting on hold with EZ Cater for 10 minutes, I was told the restaurant didn't have anyone available to deliver the order. By that point, it was far too late to make other arrangements, and our business breakfast turned into a meeting with no breakfast. EZ Cater's resolution was simply to tell me they wouldn't charge me - which should be the bare minimum - and ask if I wanted to place another order, even though there was no chance it would arrive on time. If you're ordering food for an important meeting or event, I would strongly recommend ordering directly from a local restaurant rather than relying on EZ Cater.
